The jet black '67 Chevy Impala sped over the backroads in Rhy'din. It was an indulgence the Rogue had allowed herself shortly before she'd left Rhy'din nearly two and a half years ago. She was headed for the cliff that overlooked her Estates, she needed to do some thinking.. some thinking that didn't involve blood shed. She skidded to an abrupt halt at the edge of the cliff and slid out and onto the hood of the car. She stretched out onto the hood of the car and leaned back to watch the now setting Rhy'din sun, a sigh escaping parted lips. She closed her eyes a moment to reflect and a smirk turned the corner of her lips.

She was happy for him, and stronger in herself that she closed that door to her life. She only hoped that the gift she'd given him was accepted in the mannerism she'd intended. He'd never asked why, what happened to her while she was gone; she'd thought it better that way, better that he didn't care. It had made it easier on her, easier for her to say goodbye.

She sat up and brought one knee to her chest and wrapped her arms around it and set her chin on her knee as icey blue eyes watched the setting sun fall below the horizon. In the time she'd been gone, she'd learned a lot about herself, about who she was.. about what she wanted to accomplish in life; why she was who she was.. and she'd learned most of all to harness the power. She didn't like using it, hated to draw on it - it still creeped her out. She closed her eyes again and drew in a deep breath.. so many she had hunted in her time, so many times had she kissed death to somehow still walk the plains. No, Cheyenne couldn't understand why she was still here and on those cold, lonely nights while she watched over the water's edge from her balcony window, she wished for death to come to her. In death one could not feel remorse or pain - in death in her eyes, one found solace and comfort.

What else did Rhy'din have in store for the Rogue? What new things could she be taught and how many others would she slaughter?

While she was gone she'd vowed to herself never to let anyone close enough to hurt her again, she didn't have it in her to go through the pain again. Pandora's Box was overflowing as it were.

The Rogue watched the last rays of sunlight disappear as she hopped down off the hood of the '67 Chevy Impala and opened the door. One last look at the disappearing sun and she nodded to herself as she slid into the leather seat, turning the key and revving the engine to life.

"I remembered black skies
The lightning all around me
I remembered each flash
As time began to blur
Like a startling sign
That fate had finally found me" - Linkin Park

It was in her nature, the nature of a loner.. a Rogue. Being alone, she'd learned to embrace it at such an early age. She raced over the rooftops in the backalleys of Rhy'din, her trench was billowing out around her as she ran over the roofs. She made no sound, it was as if she was never there.

She paused a moment to catch her breath, she felt exhilirated even after the fight with Lang earlier. She was in the alleys behind the the shops in Rhy'din as she let icey blue eyes gaze around. She was refamiliarizing herself with the land, she was.. coming to terms. The crisp early morning air was a refreshing change to the stale, poignant air within the Inn's walls and she indulged in it.

As she moved along the rooftops, there was a figure that seemed to be following her on the ground. Keeping far enough away so as not to draw attention, but close enough to not lose track of her. When she came to a stop in that dark alley way, he would casually move up from behind.

She'd learned to listen to the night, to the things going around her, if she didn't - she'd find Death's Kiss warm on her lips. It was ingrained in her, sure as the ice that flowed through her veins. She knew there was someone else out there, she could feel another presence. Her right hand moved instinctively to the ivory handle of the whip coiled at her thigh, the left to the dagger, palming it. Her breathing was shallow, steady as she waited for the next move.

Yet the male continued towards her, before coming to a stop about ten feet behind her. " It's dangerous for one to be out so late and all alone in this town. " A mix of angelic melody and a darkness to the man's voice.

She inhaled deeply the air that surrounded them and she could only furrow her brow, his scent was odd. She couldn't pick up on it, he wasn't the same blood as Art or even Lang - nor was he the same blood as she. No, she was quite certain she'd never caught a scent quite like his. It was distracting, frustrating and confusing, what was he? The scent he carried was sweet, calming and .. near appetizing, she shook her head. She never turned, only tightened her grip on the handle of the whip and readied the dagger. Her left hand's palm stung slightly from the cuts she'd acquired earlier. "I can say the same for ya. Dangerous sneaking up on me as well, ya lucky ya ain't dead yet."

" Perhaps..but you wouldn't kill someone unless you were forced to do so. " He reasoned as he took a step closer towards her as he kept his hands in the pockets of his pants.

"I wouldn't bet on it bucko." And she turned then, deftly quick and agile as a cat. Flicking the whip with a snap of wrist, aiming for his left ankle. She wasn't aiming for injury, only to knock him off balance. He was approaching her space, something the Rogue had learned over the last couple years to embrace and protect. If you never let them close enough, they could never hurt you.

He dropped into a crouch, with his right arm snapping up. Allowing the whip to wrap around his forearm, to the point he caught it with his hand. He then moved to his feet. " And you are a fool to attack someone you know little about, luv. "

She growled and cursed softly beneath her breath as she stood upright, giving the whip a slight tug to retrieve it from his arm. Icey blue eyes glared at him, she tilted her head to the side at his choice of words. "You are the fool sneaking up on me in the dead of night." Another tug to the whip with her right hand. "And don't call me "luv" or I'll throw the dagger at ya. No one has the right to call me that." And she muttered beneath her breath out of earshot, ~No one ever will again either.~

When she tugged on the whip, his arm tightened, refusing to give it up at the moment, as well as keeping his balance. " Now now luv. No need to be hating on me. " On the next hard tug, he let it go. Hoping to make her stumble and fall on her ass.

She stumbled, but quickly regained herself as she snapped the whip down onto the roof before recoiling it slowly and setting it back into it's place at her thigh. "Don't call me luv." She near to growled it out. Icey blue eyes traversed his form, studying him. "Why were ya following me any way?" The dagger was still smoothly held in her left hand, just in case of course. One could never be to sure. Men, she swore under her breath. They were such stubborn creatures. She deftly slipped the dagger into it's place, believing for now he posed not much of a threat. As he approached, she didn't back down but stood her ground, glaring at him. "Ain't'cha got nothin' better to do an to follow me around in the middle of the night hoping to get yaself killed?" She clucked her tongue against her teeth. She wasn't really in the mood for conversation - was she? Why on earth was she standing her in the middle of the night talking to some strange man that'd been following her?

There was nothing in sight
But memories left abandoned
There was nowhere to hide
The ashes fell like snow
And the ground caved in
Between where we were standing. -Linkin Park

" Would you prefer to just kill me and be done with it? " Hands moving to clasp behind his back as the distance was down to one foot between them. " Or perhaps you would rather we just go home? "

"I would rather know why ya were following me first." She totally evaded his last comment as she watched him, studying him in the pale moonlight.

He looked to be harmless, yet that scent now that he was closer, would hint to what he was..A fallen angel. " I had nothing better to do.." He merely shrugged

Nothing better to do? She quirked a brow at that, smirking and shrugging her shoulders. His scent was baffling her, the Rogue hadn't smelled a scent such as that in that she could remember. It was so sweet, so.. intoxicating. "So ya picked me out of nowhere to follow?"

He smirked to that. " Would you prefer me to leave? " Now closing that distance. " Or do you have something else in mind for me?"

"I have nothing in mind for ya, I don't even know ya ass." She was growing uncomfortable at the lack of distance between them, but she'd never give it away.

He leaned towards her right in her face now. " Kraven Williams..at your service, luv." Purring the last word to her as he was looking her dead in the eyes. " Now may I know your ass?"

She blinked and growled at the man. How dare he! He was so close, the scent was wrapping around her now, dancing with her.. teasing her - enticing her. "Well I know ya name now, that's a beginnin I suppose." She did nothing to distance herself from him though her skin was crawling. His scent was bothering her deeply, she couldn't put a finger on it, he smelled... so sweet. Confusion had set in, she shook her head. "What about my ass?"

He leaned dangerously close, to the point she'd feel his warm breath against her ear. " Your ass is formed perfectly..but what is your name?" At the same time he was inhaling her scent.

She couldn't shake the shiver he'd sent crawling up her spine, she was human after all. She could close off emotions, grow cold to anything and everyone.. numb. But to her bodies reactions she could do nothing but resist and fight. To close, she needed to breathe. Without a word, she silently back-flipped off the roof, landing silently on the dusty pavement below them looking up towards him. The chains around her waist clinked silently. In her crouched position she tilted her head. "Cheyenne." She'd ignored his beginning comments, though the chill was still there.

He smirked to her back fliping off the roof, only to follow her off. A simple leap from the roof, yet he landed in a crouch..Right in front of her, seems he wanted that distance to stay close for now. " A lovely name..for a lovely wild woman. "

"Hrm." She stood up, brushing off the tight leather pants that clung to her shapely form. His scent was surrounding her, it was causing a fog to wash over her, she shook her head to try to clear it away once more. "Wild? What gives ya the impression that I'm wild?"

Rising to stand with her. " Your scent. " A shrug as he started to walk around her. " Plus you are one that prefers to be alone, but I am guessing deep down..You wish to have someone there that you can count on. " Oddly his tone seem to hint he knew what he was talking about.

She began to circle the man in front of her, icey blue eyes growing colder by the second, glittering dangerously within the darkness of the night. He was touching nerves he had no right to touch. Something was off, she couldn't put her finger on it, but something didn't seem right.. now she had to figure out if it was in a good way or bad. "My scent? What the hell do ya know about me? Ya just met me."

He smirked as he ignored her first question. " That you could use someone like me in your life. " Rather bluntly as he got near her rear, a hand snapped out to give it a hard, firm slap.

Give me reason
To fill this hole
Connect the space between
Let it be enough to reach the truth that lies
Across this new divide. -Linkin Park

She growled and let out a slew of very unladylike cusses as she glared at him, stopping mid stride. "Put ya hands on me again bucko and ya gonna loose em." She crossed her hands over her well developed chest as she lifted her chin. "And how the bleep would ya know what the bleep I need in my life." She looked up to the moon a moment before settling icey blues on him again. "I don't need you, I don't need anyone."

The slew of curse words got him to smirk. " Rather nice to find a woman in this town that knows how to speak. " A smirk then to her next comment. " You need someone that knows how to make you howl, but could care less what you do around others. "

She blinked slightly and clucked her tongue against her teeth once more. Howl? What the hell did he think she was? A wolf? "Howl? The hell are ya on about?"

He smirked as he suddenly moved up behind her, leaning to her ear. " Howling in heated pleasure..as you allow someone to show you the darker side of life. "

His scent was getting to her again, causing her vision to cloud over, causing her mind to wander. What was he? She turned on her heel, right hand raised and moving quickly to slap him in the face. "How dare you! Ya don't even know me, don't presume to know what I want or what I need." She huffed. "I told ya I don't need you or anyone."

He took the slap, before getting in her face again. " Perhaps, but you also have a ton of pent up anger..I can help you to release it. " Now looking her over oh so slowly, admiring her form.

Anyone could have gathered that from watching her for a mere 5 minutes. The Rogue was full of anger, hurt and a million other emotions. Only one did she ever let out.. anymore. Anger, it's what kept her going and kept her from hurting. He'd see she was dressed no different than she was normally. Black floor length leather trench coat laid over her tight, black fitting tank top that was plain tonight. One chain wrapped around her slender waist to appear as three. Tight leather black pants that clung to her long legs and her steel toed boots. He couldn't see all the daggers, there were to many to count. "Help me release it how? Gonna let me beat the crap outta ya for days?" She smirked and tilted her head, icey blues leveling him.

He smirked to that. " No..but you don't have it in you to allow me to help you..in my own ways. " Leaning back from her as he moved to walk by her. " You are to..scared. "

Thank God he backed off, she drew in a much needed breath of air and her icey blue gaze followed him. "Scared?" She smirked and adjusted her stance. "I fear nothing. Only goes to prove ya know nothing much of me at all. Only what ya've gathered about my anger issues." Oh boy was she lying there. She had only one fear in life and she wasn't about to let this man in on it, or anyone ever again.

" Then do you accept my offer? " Looking over his shoulder to her. " Or will you run away from me, and cower where ever you live? " For an angel..it was coming clear why he was a fallen one.. He was far from the noble type.

"What offer is that? Ya've yet to define ya offer. How can I accept or decline when I've not a clue what the hell ya on about?" She had him there, and oh was she always about the business. She was a Rogue after all, if she could somehow turn this.. this whatever it was he was doing to her to her advantage, she would do her best. But, what exactly was it that he was doing to her. No one had power over her, she'd made sure of that all her life. She gave it to those she chose.. yet he could confuse her, entice her.. cloud her mind and dull her vision - but how was he doing it? "The only thing I can think of for a man to be following a woman around at this time of night is to try an weasel his way into her pants. And I assure ya bucko, ya ain't gettin anywhere near me in that manner."

" I see." He pondered that for a moment, before turning sharply. Aimming to use surprise as he tossed a small dart at her. It was of course laced with a drug to put one to sleep.

She saw the silvery glint and moved quickly off the side, slewing out cusses again. The small dart plinked harmlessly to the dusty cobblestone at their feet as she snapped ice blues at him. "The bleep are ya doing?"

" Faster than I expected. " He mused as he turned to face her. " We can do this the easy way...or the hard way. " A smirk slowly crossing his lips.

Icey blue eyes glared at him, glittering dangerously as the white flames began to lick at the irises, fingertips danced across the cool ivory handle of the whip as she brought herself to calm. She'd not call on the magic.. no not tonight, not in this. "Do what exactly? Ya might get a solid answer if ya'd tell me what ya on about, instead of throwing children's toys at me."

And your voice was all I heard
That I get what I deserve.-Linkin Park

He then rushed towards her, flicking another of those darts as a distraction tactic. His true goal was to slam her into the wall, and trap her there.

She dodged the dart quickly, deftly and growled at him, coiled she sprang towards him, but it was to late. She felt the impact of their bodies slamming together, the wind was knocked out of her as she was slammed against the cool stone of the wall behind her, and was pinned and trapped between his body and the wall. She growled, cussing as she pressed both palms against his chest in an effort to push him off her. Planting both feet firmly on the ground. "Ya rotten no good asshole. I knew it all along. Ya ain't nothin but a no good perv tryin to get his rocks off!"

He smirked pinning her to the wall. His hands twisted to grab her's to pin them over her head. His knees would aim to force her legs open, to break the firm stance she had. " You chose the hard way."

She was strong, she was quick.. but not strong or quick enough against him, as he'd had the upper hand. She growled, fighting his prying of her legs open, but with her arms trapped over head firmly in his grip, she was helpless. "Ya no good piece of scum sucking alley licking filth." She continued to struggle against him, it wasn't fear that urged her on, it was the need for survival. "I kill scum like ya for a goddamn living an when I get free I will hunt ya down and gut ya."

He smirked as they continued that battle, with him using his leverage against her will. " After tonight you won't wish to gut me.."

She growled through clenched teeth, and she continued to struggle against him to try and free herself. In her mind he was going to rape her and in her mind she had to do all she could to free herself.. or prepare to have her body violated. "I will find you. Mark my words ya scum sucker. I will hunt ya down and I will slit ya throat, and when ya blood is running warm over my hands I'll spit on ya dead body." She let out a slew of cusses as she continued to struggle to no avail. "Go on rape me an get it over with so I can kill ya."

He smirked to that. " Rape you? Maybe that is just what you need.." Shifting his form to pin her flush to the wall. " As far as you killing me..I highly doubt it. "

"Who in their right mind needs to be raped ya ignorant prick." She wished he'd get it over with so she could hunt him and kill him. His scent was surrounding her, she'd never forget it, not until she was sure he was well and dead so he could never do this to anyone else. Her struggle to free herself never ceased as she fought against him.

Kraven smirked as he moved back from her, as her wrists and ankles were somehow bound to the wall he had her pressed against. He then looked her over, before he moved in to undress her body.

The Rogue felt the magic, the brand on her ankle was burning and pulsing and now it started to bleed. The blood loss she'd endured when the mark came to life was non threatening - it was a warning to herself and to anyone else. She knew she was not the source, but he.. he was. She struggled now against the binds that held her against the wall. "What in the bleep are ya doing ya insane bleep?" She twisted her body but could not release herself from the binds. "Don't bleeping touch me ya bleeping asshole!"

He smirked as he took his time in undressing her, using a dagger he had hidden on his form to do so. Dropping her cut up clothes on the ground, allowing him to look her over. " You can curse me all you want..but you will do this. "

The Rogue gritted her teeth as the cool Rhy'din air brushed over her now exposed skin. Shame burned deep inside her, starting in the pit of her stomach and working it's way up. Her eyes and body betrayed nothing as she leveled icey blues to him. "I will find you, an I will kill you. Mark my words." Oh he could take her, touch her.. but she would make him pay and he would pay with his blood.

" After tonight..you will find me..and beg me to finish this. " One hand sliding up her body, his teeth and tongue following the trail he'd began.

The Rogue was mid curse as she felt his hands on her. Her body thrashed against the restraints, growling. "Don't bleeping touch me ya scum sucker!" Her body was near perfect, it'd been a curse and yet a blessing. Late last year she'd nearly died yet again, and she had the scar to show it now. The only blemish to perfection. It was four inches long and rode along the right-side of her ribcage. She abhorred the scar, it'd made her feel ugly and ashamed. She bit her lip hard feeling the heat of his hands, lips and tongue against her. A turmoil of emotions she'd sealed off were forming inside her and she fought it all back. Her body tensed when she felt his hands against her. Take yourself to a different place Chey, think of other things. You know the drill. He can touch you but it is nothing, it means nothing. Fight it off, he's scum. The voice echoed in her head as she clenched her fists, nails drawing blood from her palms. She wouldn't beg him to stop, that wasn't her. She wanted it to be over..

"Surrender to me."

"Accept what I am offering you."

"Give in and let me show you."

"Business partner."

She ached.. from head to toe, the Rogue ached in more ways than one. Her mind was still foggy as she inhaled what should have been her smell and the smell of the night only - but she smelled him.. he was still there. She turned on her side and allowed herself a few moments to watch the slow rise and fall of his chest. She traced a nail down the center of his chest while he slept, smirking to herself. How easy it would have been to reach for one of the many hidden daggers that surrounded her bed.. to easy it would have been to cut his throat then and there - to feel his blood spill warm and sticky over her hands. Icey blue eyes slid over his naked body, that laid covered with only the black silk sheet and she felt her pulse quicken.

She slid soundlessly from the bed, surpressing the groan that fought it's way quickly to her lips. Her head was spinning. It had been the first time she'd slept in over three weeks, she'd still yet to eat anything, but that didn't bother her. She stepped over to the full length mirror and let icey blue eyes traverse the course of her body in the moonlight. She frowned slightly at the dark bruises that were forming welts around her ankles and wrists. She shook her head as her skin flushed and heated with the thoughts, she ran a hand through her golden curls and headed down the stairs into a hot shower.

She'd dressed quickly and silently after the shower and stood once again at the foot of the bed watching him. Her arms were crossed over her breasts as she measured his breathing, she moved towards the open balcony doors and paused once more looking over her shoulders towards him. "Ya gonna live to regret this yanno." She turned her gaze from his sleeping form and moved towards the railing, vaulting over it and down to the soft earth beneath. Her words lost in the breeze of the early morning, "An so will I."

Twilight was approaching as she raced over the rooftops in Rhy'din. She needed to hunt.. she needed to focus - to clear her mind of what had taken place over the last several hours. She weaved thissaway and thattaway avoiding obstructions and other buildings that had been constructed while she'd been away. She vaulted over the gapes that came before her and she came to a quick and silent crouch over a darkened alleyway where she'd heard sounds of an argument.

"We're over. I can't do this anymore." He turned his back on her.

"What do you mean we're over? You see me having a drink with a co-worker and you assume we're sneaking around behind your back?" The woman's voice was high pitched and nasaly. "But I catch you in the act and I can forgive you."

The Rogue listened quietly, intently to the conversation that was taking place below her. Head tilted to the side as icey blue eyes surveyed the other alleyways before settling on the pair below again.

"Get over it Leila I'm done with you. Kyle told me what happened." He was moving towards the street now.

The woman's look of horror was like a flashlight in the middle of a darkened room. She tried to mouth words watching him walk away but couldn't.

The Rogue murmured silently to herself, "Nothing but a lover's quarrel here." And she was off again, racing over the rooftops to find something more.. suiting to her hunting needs tonight. She tried to not think about the man that was still sleeping soundly in the warmth of her bed.

"Help!"

She skidded to a halt, tilting her head in the direction she'd heard the voice.

"Get out of my house!"

Feline grace had her turning around and headed towards the pleas for help as she stopped and let icey blues adjust to her surroundings and she spotted what was going on not long after. The lights were on in the house below her, there was broken glass on the floor and it looked to her from this height that the door had been kicked in.

She groaned inwardly, "Just a no good robbery gone awry." Silently she dropped to the ground in front of the house. Steel toed boots crunching against the shards of glass that were strewn all over the ground.

Quietly she made her way through the house and towards the sound of the commotion. The voice she'd heard had been femme and she peeked quickly around the corner towards the bedroom and had to bring her head back just as fast. An oil lamp, luckily not ablaze, came flying through the air.

"GET OUT!"

"Shut up ya old biddy."

More crashing and more things being broken filled the Rogues ears. On a sigh she moved to the next wall and slowly continued her advance towards the room, she was nearly there.. just a little further. She was now pressed flat against the wall in a small alcove two feet away from what she judged to be an early twenty or so male, another quick glance assured her that it was an elderly woman and this had been the start of a burglary.

The Rogue stepped out, and the dagger glinted in the flicker of the lights that were on in the house.

"You there! HELP ME NOW!"

The Rogue was cussing the woman in her mind. She had no time to react. He'd turned armed with a knife and she hissed softly when she felt the blade slice through her shirt and into her flesh.

It was over quickly, but not quick enough for the Rogue as she pressed a palm to her side to help stop the bleeding. "Next time, keep ya door locked or get a damned guard dog." And she was gone as quick as she'd come to help the woman. She was racing over the rooftops again, leaving the woman to clean up the mess.

The breeze was slight as the Rogue dropped soundlessly from an overhanging tree to the rooftop of the Inn. She inhaled deeply the air around her as her breathing leveled out. She curled her left hand into a tight fist and then released it, hissing through clenched teeth. Icey blues surveyed the area before she dropped soundlessly down beside the front porch steps. The chains around her waist clinked softly as she stood, stretching with a wince; steel toed boots made no sound as she climbed the stairs. She turned once she'd reached the top of the porch, one steel toed boot resting on the lower railing as she leaned forward on her elbows onto the top railing. The breeze gently rustled golden curls as she tried to clear her mind. Her wrists and ankles were still bruised from the previous night, her hand still bore the nail marks and cuts that'd been self inflicted, and after this morning's hunt - she had a good sized cut on her left side as well. She closed her eyes and rolled her shoulders as skin brushed against the warm leather of her trench.

Not long after the Rogue made her way onto the porch. The Fallen one was heading towards the inn as well, hands clasped behind his back, with a faint smirk on his lips. Gaze sweeping over the area, as he walked at a slightly quick pace. That smirk grew a touch upon spotting the Rogue on the porch. " Look what the cat dragged in. " Murmured as he moved up the steps of the porch, then a turn to move down to lean on the railing.

She'd been enjoying the fresh air, the calm after the hunt. She'd been hunting for the last several hours, avoiding returning home. A near to feral growl rumbled in her throat as the breeze shifted and she caught that scent.. his scent. Her body tensed at his voice, if she could have, the Rogue would have visibly cringed. She felt him move near her and the scent.. she tried to be rid of it, but with his scent - there was so much more; such calmness, such confusion. "Finally decided to crawl outta bed?"

That got a chuckle to leave his lips. " Last night was rather..tiring.." Looking her over as he crossed his arms over his chest. Gaze then moved to look over his shoulder. " Besides..I was taking care of things at your place of business..If you must know. "

She wasn't to sure how she'd wanted to play this, let alone to react to his mentioning of last night. The Rogue'd only been back in Rhy'din going on just over 48 hours. Her business? What.. how? "My business? What do ya know about my business." A pause as icey blue eyes slowly opened and turned towards him, they glittered dangerously. "More importantly why are ya meddling in my business affairs?" Did he already know that she had people trying to figure out who he was and how to kill him?

He just smirked at her for a long silent moment, watchng how angered she was at him. " Yes your business.. and I know all about what you do..and are trying to do. " Winking at her, before looking back over his shoulder.

She furrowed her brows as she tilted her head to the left, a single curl falling over one eye as she glared at him. "How could ya know about my business and what it entails. And what precisely were ya doing?" She brought her arms up as well, crossing them over her breasts, so that the sleeves of the trench did well to hide the bruising. She'd remembered waking up in the middle of the night after a few hours of sleep and had found him there and then she'd hurriedly showered and left to hunt.

Turn of his form as his hands moved to catch and trap her between himself and that railing. " I know enough that we'll have to have a long..talk back home. " Looking down at her as a smirk crossed his lips again.

She was backed against the rail, emitting a soft hiss towards him, a small warning as she glared over his shoulder to see if anyone had seen them, before she brought her gaze up to his. His scent was dancing around her again, beginning to cloud her thoughts, her tongue darted out to lick her lips before she spoke, slowly. "Home? Ya assume it is ya home now as well? And what exactly are we to talk about?" She felt the heat of his body pressed to hers, and she wanted to run.

He smirked and he leaned in closer, ignoring that hiss. " Yes it is my home now as well. " Before she could say a word otherwise. Lips caught her's in a slow, deep kiss.. Aimming to get her more focused on the kiss than what they had been talking about.

Icey blues went wide with disbelief at his words and she'd formulated a slew of slangs and rational quips towards him but before she could even utter one, her knees went weak - her mind was clouded and her thoughts were no longer her own. Her eyes fluttered closed as his lips touched hers.. Intoxication. Was it always this dangerous? Indulgence. Was it always this sinful? Her breath caught in her throat as both hands now pressed against his chest, though the pressure she applied was minimal her own silent defeat. She didn't want this, not here.. not now. She didn't want him to kiss her, she knew that if he had last night, surrender would have come quicker. Nails dug into his clothing as she let herself fall.

One arm slipped around her form, pulling her into that kiss letting her lean against him. That kiss lasted for a few moments, before lips parted from her's. Allowing a smug smirk to cross his lips. " Not deying it is not my home I see."

Her heart was beating quicker now, her pulse was racing. Her knees were weak and if it hadn't been for the railing and his arm around her, the Rogue most likely would have fallen into a heap at the floor. It took a few moments as the heat from his lips left hers before her eyes opened.. it was as if a part of the spell had been broken. Clouded ice blue eyes looked into his own blue eyes before she tilted her head to the side. "Huh?" She blinked a few times, trying to get a solid grip on what was going on again, before they went wide again and she glanced quickly towards the door and over his shoulder. Icey blues leveled him again quickly as she wrinkled her nose. "Have ya no other home to go to?"

" No I do not. " Giving her his best frown, as he looked off to the side. Yet he didn't break away from her. No he dared to draw her in closer. Fingers drumming against her back through the coat she wore. " Would you really just toss me out on the street?"

Ice blue gaze studied him carefully for quite some time before she'd answer him, smirking. "Ya can't lie to a born liar Kraven." She spoke his name again, as rare as it were that she'd let his name slip from her lips. She wanted to tell him no, that he couldn't live in the Estates, but could inhabit the guest house on the grounds. But she couldn't formulate the word. She blinked and swallowed. "Ya can use a guest room I suppose, since ya are in my employment." Hadn't that been similar to what she'd offered Lang years ago?

" I prefer the room I used last night to rest my head. " Looking back to her, as he used that one arm that was around her. Easily lifting her up so she would be sitting on the railing. Before using his other hand to run through her hair.

No.. he couldn't do this to her, he couldn't be gentle, tender or caring with her. That wasn't part of the deal they'd made. She wanted to pull away as she was easily lifted onto the rail, she wanted to slap him as she felt his fingers run through her golden curls, but instead she'd closed her eyes on a sigh. "I can have a bed brought up for ya then and a wall built to partition it off."

" And the same bed...and company. " Fingers still attacking those two points, as he snuck his hand on her back. Between her form and the coat. Allowing fingers to caress the bare skin of the small of her back.

What was he asking of her? She couldn't give him this, she wouldn't. She'd vowed that to herself before returning. She felt the heat of his fingers against her flesh, and goosebumps rose beneath her clothing. He could not do this. ~Say no Rogue.~ The voice was telling her the right thing to do, but her mind.. her mind wasn't clear. His scent was drugging her again. She licked her lips and swallowed - but that didn't help. His taste lingered.. She tried to change the subject. "What was it ya did today?"

" Found out what you do for a living..Now say yes..to my request. " Moving his hand from her hair, to run the back of his fingers along the underside of her chin, then down the front of her neck. Fingers on her back continuing to run up and down her spine.

She shivered noticeably and finally those icey blue eyes dared to open and look at him. "And what is it that I do? There are many things ya don't know about me." Another shiver again avoiding his request of a direct answer as she tried to shift from his embrace.

He pulled back from her as he avoided her own question, as he turned to walk over to the swing. Now lowering himself into it as he looked off into the night, then used a foot to set the swing into motion.

~Hurt him before he hurts you Rogue~ The voice kept echoing in her mind, even as the air cleared and she was near to free of his intoxicating scent. She watched him move to the swing, but she'd remained where he'd left her. Free from his touch, free from his embrace.. and free from his drugging madness. She shook her head, running her right hand through her own curls. He couldn't do this to her, it wasn't right - it wasn't fair. He didn't have the right to do this. She swung her long, leather clad legs, at a loss for words.

He glanced to the woman that moved by them for a moment, before looking back to the Rogue. " What do you have planned for tonight? " Changing the conversation this time.

She'd noted the woman, but she'd said nothing.. her thoughts were wandering elsewhere. She blinked and looked to Kraven curiously before hopping down and off the railing. Sure that her knees would not give out on her she moved quietly towards the other railing, looking out over the side of the Inn. Her back was to him as she spoke. "I'm not sure. I'll likely hunt again for a few hours." She needed to get away from him is what she needed. Mebbe she'd get a room at the Inn. Leave him to the Estates. "You?" Why was she asking him what he had plan, she didn't care.. did she?

" Perhaps getting to know the woman I shared a willing and heated night with. " Smirking slowly at her as he knew she really didn't care what his plans were. So he chose the one thing he knew would grab and hold her attention.

She was glad her back was to him, glad that he couldn't see the flutter of emotions flash across her face. She calmly continued to keep Pandora's Box locked tightly. But those emotions.. they were fighting to break free. Why was he saying these things? He didn't care about her.. didn't care about what happened to her. Had Troy found out how one kills an Angel yet she wondered. "Why would ya want to do that for?"

" Would you prefer that I don't? " Head tilting as he waited for her answer.

"You are ya own person, do what pleases you and I will do the same." It was as honest a answer as she could give him. She stood straight then, stretching her body and she bit back a yelp as her left side pulled and the stitches threatened to tear.

His brow rose to that, as he moved to stand up and moved over towards her. " You are hurt..Let me take a look. " Now up behind her.

~Hurt him before he hurts you Rogue.~ She'd thought she'd hidden it well enough from him and she bit back the growl as he pretended to care.. care about her and how she was, what she wanted. Icey blue eyes glittered dangerously in the dark as her back was to him. And she was cold, oh was she cold to him. She wouldn't let herself think that he cared about her, she couldn't. "It's none of ya concern, ya don't care about me." She moved to step to the right. "It's been taken care of already by my Doc."

" Let me see. " Ignoring her plea that she was fine. " Or do I have to..drag you off, kicking and screaming into the night. "

"No." How was it she could say no to him now, but when it mattered the most to her and who she was she could not? "It's fine. I'll heal soon enough and if ya were to drag me off kicking an screaming ya'd likely do more damage to me." She grunted as she hopped up onto the railing in a balance crouch, biting back the stabbing pain. "Not that hurting me would matter to ya much."

" If I didn't care I wouldn't of asked. " That said he moved after her. Seems the Rogue wasn't going to brush him off so easily.

As Kraven moved towards her, the whip was released and it was coiled around a thick, sturdy branch up above them and she was off, balancing on that branch. Her form was hidden in the darkest shadows as icey blue eyes looked down towards Kraven. And in that one brief moment if he looked close enough, he might have seen the pain in her eyes that pushing him away was causing her. He might have seen the desperate want to give in and let him care for her. In that one flash of a moment when she let her guard down, he might have seen her mouth the words -I'm sorry.- in the shadows, before she took off into the night leaving him there on the porch.

His brows rose to that, before he moved casually down the street.

How can I decide what's right?
When you're clouding up my mind.
I can't win your losing fight
All the time. -Paramount

Slowly he made his way back towards the inn, with an out cold Cheyenne cradled in his arms. He had followed her, a good thing he did, as he found her passed out in the street during her hunting trip.

She'd tried to escape him, escape what he was trying to awaken inside her. The hunt had gone all wrong, her focus not entirely on the mark and he'd gotten her. She'd had him, until she'd sworn she'd smelled that scent.. the scent that was causing chaos to reign down on the Rogue. In that moment as she lashed the whip towards the mark, he'd turned it on her. The back of her shirt was nothing but rags as he'd turned the whip on her, managing to lash her three time with her own weapon. The leather had cut her milky flesh, the razorheads were none to kind to her. She'd passed out from the pain the lashing had caused her, she'd seen a man approaching her with a cloth.. The cloth however had never made it to her, something.. someone had intervened. Who was it? She remembered seeing a blur of movement and then everything had gone black. In that moment, that one solitary moment as she had so many times before.. The Rogue wished for death to come to her, wished for it to come and claim her to take her away from the world that was wrought with emotions.

That someone was carrying her into the inn, and once he did he moved right for the couch. Laying her down on her side, allowing him access to look over the wounds to her back. He looked over the whip marks for a moment, then pressed his hand to her back. Eyes would fall shut allowing that holy aura to wrap around her body. It's goal to heal her of her wounds.

It burned. God did it burn. It always did when magic was around her, even worse when it was being used on her. The brand on her outer right ankle began to shimmer and slither with a life of it's own, blood trickled from the brand, but was harmless to the Rogue herself. Slowly the skin began to shift on her back, where it was just seconds before red, raw and bloodied - it was now closing over itself as tissue began to repair. The wounds on her hands that were self inflicted yesterday were healing themselves as well, even the cut she'd obtained earlier that morning.. he was healing all her wounds.

Once her body was fully healed, the aura disappered. He then moved to let her lay on the couch, as he moved to sit in the chair by the hearth, fingers drumming on the arms of that chair.

As the aura washed over her, the wounds that had previously blemished her near perfect body were now fully healed, not even a scar remained. As the aura dissapated from in and around the Rogue's person, the brand soon settled and the blood that had seeped from the brand vanished. It took a few moments before icey blues would slowly open and a quiet groan parted her lips.

" Relax. " In a glance to the Rogue. " You were jumped on your way back to the Inn.. Two men. One even used your own whip against you.. The other was going to use a cloth to gag you. " Said slowly and in a murmured tone.

She'd smelled him, it was the first thing she sensed when she tried to push herself up to a sitting position. Slowly she sat up, but stayed curled up on the couch. Confusion was the first thing to claim her, but at the same time that she was confused.. she was also calm.. Why was he here? How'd she get here? How did he know what happened to her? Had he followed her? Her whip.. yes she'd remember feeling it against her body, remembered seeing her blood.. "You followed me?"

" Yes.. and it is a good thing I did. " Bluntly to her. " Or would you of rather been killed or worse?" Looking back to her with a quirked brow.

He'd followed her.. why had he followed her? It didn't make sense.. She'd wished for death, she always did, but somehow it always eluded her. Her back.. they'd made her bleed, yet.. she twisted slowly, curiously to look at the wounds that should have been there but were not. She blinked before looking back to him. She would evade the question for now.. for now she needed to know.. "The marks how.. where..why?" She was confused.. so many questions. Curiously she lifted the tattered shirt to peer at the wound she'd acquired earlier that morning, removing the bandages slowly and a gasp parted her lips.. it was healed as well. She swallowed the lump that was forming as she looked in turn at each ankle and each wrist.. the abrasions and bruises were gone from them as well. She said nothing, she only looked at Kraven with a growing curiousity.

" I healed you. " Looking back to the hearth, as he leaned back in the chair. It was all he would say for now.

She blinked. She blinked again.. and again. He'd healed her? Why had he healed her? Why had he not just let the marks do as they'd pleased.. why did he pretend to care so damn much when they both knew that he didn't.. At least she'd believed he didn't.. but it didn't make sense. She continued to watch him, quietly for a few more minutes before she spoke. "Why?"

" Because I felt like it. " He smirked at her, " And you owe me for it. "

How did we get here?

Because he'd felt like it? This caused the Rogue's defenses to immediately shoot up once again. How naive could she have been to even believe for one second, to even start to believe that he did it because he'd cared about her. She damned herself as she tore her gaze from him to look down to the ground. She owed him.. she hated owing people, it meant they owned a part of her. He'd ruined the moment, not that it'd mattered to him anyway.. and it shouldn't have mattered at all to her. When her gaze returned to him, it was cold and emotionless once more. "Next time just let me die." She'd moved to slide slowly off the couch and attempted to move closer towards the hearth, and well away from him.

The moment she moved off the couch, a hand shot out to catch the Rogue by the back of her pants. Only to yank her into his lap, adding a twist to make her sit sideways. Before she could even pull away, arms moved around her to keep her in his lap. " Just shut up and relax. "

Relax? She really didn't know the meaning of that anymore.. she hadn't allowed herself that.. comfort. A feral growl emitted between clenched teeth as she didn't dare to look into his eyes, instead she kept them focused on some spot thattaway. Her body was tense in his arms, her breathing level and easy. "You're going to cause this to turn into a scene. If you will remove your arms from around me, I can be on my way to retrieve your payment for meddling in my affairs." Each word was cold and quipped to him.

" You are going to stay right where you are, shut up and like it. " He smirked as a hand moved up to turn her eyes to gaze up into his . His other hand lightly patting her side.

She would not look at him, though she moved with his guidance. Her eyes snapped shut as the thought to spit in his face was rather overwhelming. It could be so easy for her to curl into him and let herself pretend to be comforted by his embrace. It would be so easy to stop fighting and to just give in for once - but she was a Rogue, it wasn't in her blood to make things easy - on herself or anyone else.

Not that it mattered to him as he moved to lay her head to his shoulder. Hand strokng her hair ever so lightly. His other hand trying to tuck her legs up, just to get her to willingly or unwillingly to curl up against him.

It was her one mistake.. she inhaled deeply keeping her eyes shut and his scent overwhelmed her. Whispering promises that were nothing but illusions. Enticing dreams that had died, to once again be awakened. She needed to find out how to build a resistance to this and fast.. before it became the end of her. Still slightly reluctant, she allowed him to adjust her body against him, her breath warm against his neck as she spoke. "Why don't ya just leave me alone Kraven, when will ya learn?"

He smirked to that question. " I'll learn when you learn to stop fighting me. " Ruffling her hair a touch, before stroking it again. Letting her curl there against him for now.

She thought on that for a moment, an idea quickly forming. Her breath was still warm and moist against his neck.. her breathing steady and calm. His scent still offering false promises of things she'd fought hard to forget. "So are ya saying if I stop fightin ya, ya will learn that ya should go and leave me be?"

" No.. I would just learn that deep down you know you want this..Seeing that I did save your ungrateful ass. " A smirk crossed his lips. " And healed you of your wounds. "

The little things he was doing was causing her willpower to falter.. the small shows of false affection. It was a half hearted growl that she offered out to him, as she adjusted, curling herself into him more, closing her eyes to just listen. "Ya had no reason to do those things, I didn't ask ya to." He was a promise she could not allow herself.. he was an indulgence that would cost her entirely to much. This was not part of the deal they had made in the dead of the night.. this was nowhere in the contract. ~Hurt him before he hurts you Rogue. Do not let him get close to you.~

He murmured the next words to her, and to her alone.

She tilted her head slightly as she kept her eyes closed, breathing him in.. remembering.. she frowned slightly against his neck at his murmured words. She furrowed her brow as she shook her head back and forth slightly. "There are others." It was simple but he would understand. One hand slid up his torso to lay around his neck and shoulders as she continued to curl into his embrace. ~Get up Rogue.~ The voice was ever so present in the back of her mind, like a nagging lover.

" There are no others. " Correcting her as he kept her from moving from him, arms staying around her form.

"Ya can find better." She wanted to ask so much of him.. to know more. To understand. Her lips brushed against his neck gently, quickly before she realized what she was doing and stopped, blinking her eyes open before closing them once more. "Ya have to."

He shook his head slightly, as he gave her rump a firm smack to both comments. " Silence. "

She yelped into his neck, the motion causing her lips again to brush against his flesh before she chanced a glance up to him, confusion in her eyes. "Damaged." To most she'd not be making much of any sense, but for some reason he understood her .. Promises she could not allow herself to make.. to take. To accept was to offer to give.. and she could do neither.. she was .. afraid.

" Slowly being repaired and reborn. " Was his counter in return to the Rogue.

Do you see what we've done?
We're gonna make such fools of ourselves. -Paramore

To want was to crave.. To crave was to indulge. Indulgence had a price. To allow yourself to want.. you had to feel - emotions other than anger. "I can't."

" Yet you are. " Countering again as he shifted her in closer.

She used the word rarely, as to her it was a sign of weakness.. a sign of defeat. "Please don't make me do this." As she said this he would feel it on his skin, not only the warmth of her breath, but the wetness.. it was something she rarely did as well.. a teardrop fell to touch his skin.

" I am not making you do anything that you don't already wish to do. " Murmured to her as a hand moved up to stroke her hair again.

Wishes were meant to be broken.. to be shattered. Oh they came true - for a short period of time. But then they were taken at a price she wasn't ready to pay again. It was war - a war she was loosing. "I don't want this. I never asked for this."

" Then why do you stay as close as you can to me? " Shifting to look down at her, cupping her chin to get her to look up at him.

Why? Why was he forcing her to face this? She wasn't strong enough. Not now, not ever again. ~He is weak now, vulnerable. Draw the dagger Rogue, finish this.~ That voice was unrelenting in the back of her mind as she looked into his eyes. The threat of another tear falling hung on her long lashes as she followed the guidance of his fingertips. The words were spoken for his ears and his ears only. "Ya make me feel safe."

His thumb moved up to brush the tear from that eye lash. " And that you are. " Blunt and to the point.

"I don't understand you." She wanted too. She was touched.. that simple gesture shattered her. Inside and out. It touched parts of her dead for what seemed an eternity. ~Do it now Rogue.~ She had to look away, she moved to turn her face away from him, to break the gaze they held.

" Let's get you home. " Murmured as he shifted to easily cradle her in his arms again. He then moved to stand up, aiming to carry her out of the inn this time.

She didn't fight him, instead the Rogue of her own want.. her own need, only curled tighter into and against his body, allowing herself to be lifted. "I will only hurt ya... or you will hurt me." This was murmured against his neck.

" Perhaps..but we shall see what shall come. " Murmured in return to her as he moved towards the door.

"I don't want to hurt again." She tightened her arms around his neck, almost believing if she didn't let go, he'd never leave.

And out they would go.

Kraven carried the Rogue all the way back to her estates, before nudging the door open, then carried her through the doorway. Not a word said as he moved towards the couch, then laid her down upon it. After getting her to curl from him, which allowed him to move off to the kitchen.

No more than about ten minutes passed, before Cheyenne would smell food being cooked in her kitchen. He had dared to just carry her home, and was now off in her kitchen cooking her food. "You want something to eat, or are you going to make me drag you in here and stuff it down your throat." Loud enough for the Rogue to hear him.

He was cooking a rather simple meal, fried chicken, mashed potatoes and beans. Well maybe not that simple, but it was a simple meal for him. While he cooked, he raided her fridge for a beer. Drinking while cooking.

She'd allowed herself to curl against his body, allowed herself to believe, if even for that walk back to the Estates that he'd genuinely cared... She allowed herself to stop fighting just for that short while. On a sigh she uncurled herself from him and settled onto the couch. Her head canted to the side as she heard him rummaging in the kitchen, though she didn't know what to say - or how to say it.

The Rogue needed answers to the questions that were screaming in her mind.. answers that needed to come before she could allow this.. to go any further than it already had.

She couldn't remember she'd allowed her body anything other than Badsiders, Whiskey and water. The smells that wafted through the air and towards her on the couch, were nearly as enticing as Kraven's scent. She let out a quiet moan of pleasure as the food caused her mouth to water. She smirked hearing his voice, as she curled her legs underneath her on the couch, still watching the kitchen door. "Only if ya gonna bring it to me with a Badsider."

She should have been furious at him for invading her privacy.. for being nice.. for caring. She should have shut him out and gone numb to him like she'd done so many times to others before him.. she should have just walked away.

She closed her icey blue eyes and inhaled deeply.. with the food there had to come answers, she had to know. "We need to talk while we eat."

Kraven Williams

Date: 2009-11-04 18:21 EST
He smirked to that, as he fixed her a plate of food with a badsider. "Here." Said as he moved into the living room with two trays, one for her and one for himself. Setting her's in her lap, before moving to sit down in a chair. His brow the quirked to her wanting to talk.

"Alright..you start." Watching her as he slowly started to eat, keeping one eye on her. With a pause here and there to take a sip of his badsider. As he had a feeling what this was going to be about.

Cheyenne Tyler Fordyce

Date: 2009-11-04 18:27 EST
She accepted the tray from him, inhaling deeply once again - a mix of his scent and the freshly cooked meal easily caused her to sigh contentedly. Fork and knife used to separate a bit of chicken from the bone before bringing it to her mouth for a taste. Her eyes fluttered closed and she moaned inwardly as she swallowed the chicken and watched him settle down.

Where was she to start? There was so many questions she had to ask, and curiously as she chewed another mouthful, she wandered why he'd asked none. Thoughtfully she washed down the mouthful with a swallow of her Badsider before focusing on her plate once more as she spoke.

"Ya are gonna be honest with me ya?" She really didn't wait for a response, as she cut another piece of chicken free. "Out of all the people in Rhy'din why'd ya pick me to follow?"

Kraven Williams

Date: 2009-11-04 18:35 EST
He actually smiled to watching her enjoying his cooking, and made a note to use that against her as well. Little did the Rogue know, she was giving him the advantage in their game. With him gainning more of an advantage with each passing day.

"Because you needed someone in your life, that would make you into a more complete woman." He was being honest with his answer. As he took another bite of the chicken, then some of the mashed potatoes and beans.

"And before you ask. What I mean is making you into a shameless sinfull woman. More to what you were the last few nights." Smirking at her as he took a sip of his badsider.

Cheyenne Tyler Fordyce

Date: 2009-11-04 18:46 EST
She didn't care at this point, it'd been entirely to long since she'd eaten a proper meal. Alternating bites of chicken with bites of vegetables, icey blue eyes glancing at Kraven now and again over her plate as she listened to his answer. She wasn't to sure how to respond to his seemingly cold and non-chalant answer. He was so confusing.. One moment you're so cold, so demanding and cruel.. the next you are so tender and gentle.. You are a chameleon.. and you're causing my head to spin.

It took several quiet moments of contemplation as she tried to formulate her words carefully. His words had sparked the cold inside her again, in short it sounded like he wanted his own private whore.. to come and go as he pleased and to use her body whenever he saw fit. She'd never give that power to anyone ever again.

"I have no need or want in my life for someone to pretend to show me how to be a seductress in and out of bed. I'm quite well adept in that department." She leaned back a bit against the couching stretching before reaching for the Badsider. If all you want is a private whore, why act like you care for me? This was the argument going on in the Rogues mind as she spoke again. "It is a luxury I do not allow myself to indulge in often. I see no reason in it. My body is mine alone and to do with it as I see fit, not how you or anyone else sees." She paused again a moment, closing her eyes as the wave of warmth flooded her once more, she remembered what it was like to be in her lover's embrace as they'd made love to one another. Icey blue eyes flew open as she drank deeply from the Badsider. "So ya see I've no need for that from you or anyone, I just choose not to make use of my body in such a manner. My body is a gift, and with it comes a price."

A price from her.. a price from her lover. A price she could not pay again.

Kraven Williams

He just smirked at her as he took their trays to the kitchen sink, before he moved back towards her. More so moving dangerously close to her "You try so hard to deny what you really want. I can see past the anger in your eyes, Cheyenne. You enjoyed what we have done together." Murmured to her as he leaned back, turning to head back towards the kitchen.

He then looked over his shoulder. "Besides, if you wanted me gone so bad..You would get rid of me, instead you are letting me stay here." Flashing her a smirk as he had a point on that. She was letting him stay here.

Cheyenne Tyler Fordyce

What she really wants.. there was a time in her life - no there were two to be precise, when she knew exactly what she wanted. And there was a part of her that still longed for those dreams she'd allowed herself to have, but she knew this man.. this.. Angel could not give her what she wanted in life, what she so very much needed by her side.

Her body stiffened in anticipation? Fright? Anger? As he got close to her to remove her dinner plate, and she exhaled slowly watching him head to the kitchen. When he looked back, she'd looked away from him - because she had enjoyed it.. the way he'd made her feel, but there was a part of her that ridiculed her for letting herself be used in such a fashion. A part of her that she knew wanted something else, something more.. loving, gentle..

She shook her head to clear her mind, she was thinking entirely to much. She'd allowed him to stay because it was part of their business arrangement and nothing more - she was sure it was nothing more. "I let ya stay here because it is nothing more than a business arrangement Kraven, do not confuse my rare shows of generosity for anything more."

It was well time to change the subject and move on to a different question - there were just to many. "Why do ya pretend to care for me, when ya've made it clear exactly what ya really want?" Icey blue eyes studied him carefully as she waited for his answer - she tried not to remember how it felt to have his arms around her.. she tried to forget how safe he really did make her feel when they were together. All he wanted was her body.. he'd made that clear - nothing more, nothing less.

Kraven Williams

"You allow me to stay her because you want me to stay her." Looking to her with a smirk, as he reclined in his chair. Followed by a long slow sip of his badsider. Eyes remainning on her, as he waited for her to move onto the next question. And when she asked it..he wasn't at all surprised.

"Because you belong to me, and you can stop trying to say you don't. You want me near you, even if you try to say you do not." He knew she would glare at him for those words, but it seemed the Angel knew her better than the Rogue would like him to know her.

"So you can save your..preaching that you need no one. Your eyes say that you do, even if it is someone like me. That had gotten you to embrace the darker side of your soul." Another sip of the badsider as he waitted for her reactions.

Icey blue eyes glittered dangerously, pale white flames began to lick at her irises as his words were causing her blood to boil. You can't do this to me, we had an agreement. Kindness was not in it.. caring was not a part of it. She averted her eyes from him again, afraid of what he might be able to see in their depths. She'd been numb for so long, she'd closed off emotions for ages - she'd been perfectly fine in her mind until he'd come along.

She took a deep, steadying breath - pale white flames soon receding from her eyes. She tilted her head again to the side, one fingertip resting on her chin thoughtfully. "Why did ya fall Kraven? What could have been so bad to cause ya to give up such.." She paused searching for the word... "Such peace?" She'd read lore on Angels over years, heard stories and heard more lore and histories. Everything she'd heard told her that these creatures were gentle, loving entities. Arch-Angels were another story but the Fallen.. she couldn't find much lore on the Fallen, it was as if .. they didn't exist. She could tell he wasn't the... most pure of souls.. but there had to be more.

He smirked to her asking him about himself, as it seemed his words shut her up. Which is just what he wanted. Her to shut up about denying her true hidden fellings. The eyes never lie, as they are the windows to one's soul.

He pondered those questions for a moment. "Because after so long. Peace is dull, nothing to do other than sit around, with nothing but time to waste. So I chose to indulge myself in the more..sinfull acts." A mere shrug.

"So I was cast out for giving in to a natural need."Now watching her as he spoke his next words. "And I have chosen you to indulge in those sinfull ways with me. Maybe when you stop this childish act of denying yourself. I shall indulge in the arts that you wish to happen." Seem the Rogue might get what she wants..if she gives him what he wishes from her.

Her left hand came up to cover a yawn, she'd long since lost track of time - and when sleep beckoned, though it too came at a price, the Rogue tried to appease it's call.

She listened to his words and she simply shook her head, it wouldn't be that easy. Not for her. How could she make him understand that she was not the one he sought for? How could she make him see that she was no good for him, for anyone. She was better left alone - it was best that way.

Ice blue eyes turned towards Kraven then, her eyelids grew heavy and her speech was beginning to slur. She wasn't by far intoxicated from the beer, no.. this was something else. She was tired, tired of fighting - herself, him.. the world.

She still had questions, still needed more answers - they needed to finalize this "contract" - this business arrangement. They needed to set the guidelines. Maybe if I think of it as nothing than a business deal, it will stay that way and no one will ever get hurt.

Her gaze traveled lazily up and down his form as she sighed softly. It was rare for anyone to ever hear her say thank you, and even more rare to hear her say she was sorry.

She stretched a bit on the couch, much like a cat awaking from slumber as she moved to stand up, never taking her icey blue gaze from him. "I'm tired, I think I'll try to sleep tonight."

He smirked as he moved to stand as well, seeing that she was done with wanting answers from him for one night. Without a word he turned to head towards the stairs, moving to head up the stairs towards her room. Oh she could demand that he sleep in the guest house, but he already made it clear..Where he would sleep..and where she would sleep.

"Sleep sounds nice right now." Was all he said towards her, as he glanced over his shoulder to see if he might have to drag her along.

He was cocky, she'd give him that.. perhaps that was one thing that attracted her to him. There was the alluring scent that he carried, and the taste that screamed blissful sin. There was the feeling of safeness when she was within his arms.. and several more that she'd yet to come to terms with.

She watched him for a few moments as he stood there on the stairs, icey blue eyes traveling up and down his body, shamelessly. In that moment she'd sworn she'd seen wings span out behind him and a softly glowing white light around him.

In that one moment, she'd sworn she'd never seen anything more beautiful in her entire life.

It wasn't his drugging scent that drew her this time, it was no work of Angelic magic - it was not brunt force that caused the Rogue's step to fall in time behind his own as she ascended the stairs behind him. She covered another yawn as she let her hand trail over the railing as she spoke with a smirk turning her lips. "Touch my pillows an I'll kill ya."

He smirked at how she was looking at him for that brief moment, before they turned to head up the steps. With him shifting to let her catchup and walk beside him, allowing him to lean to her ear. "All talk and no bite." Daring her to keep to those words, as he followed her to her bedroom.

Once inside the master bedroom, he stripped as he started towards her bed. Letting her get an eye full, as his clothes were just dropped where he took them off at. He then moved to lay in the middle of the bed, smirking at her. as he waitted for her to join him.
