Sprawled out on the grass on her stomach, legs kicking up and down behind her, the Empress stared down at the scroll of blue paper set out before her. Chin cushioned on the back of her hands, she loomed above the paper with a frown settled on her face. She occasionally reached down and drew squares and lines on the blue paper with her finger, shaking her head when whatever it was she was drawing didn't come out to correctly.

She groaned, becoming frustrated with the scroll she pushed it aside. The on beneath it wasn't much better. It was just another set of blueprints from some property she recently purchased. She had no idea what to do with it. The whole thing was tied up with the question she had asked Kina last week- what should she do occupation wise?

Sure, she was the Empress. That was all well and good but doing that only took up so much of her time. She also had the children, but they weren't an occupation. She was spending even less time with them then normal as of late because she had hired someone else to come and help teach them a bit of basic magic. With their days taken up with their teacher and the little ones being cared for half the time by a nurse- seven children had become a bit much for her a long time ago to take care of- she had many of her afternoons free.

She gazed between the two properties, one a warehouse and one an estate not too far from the city, at a complete loss with what to do with them and her life. She was under the impression that most mortals went through this confusing stage much earlier in life then she was while immortals probably didn't go through it for at least a century into their lives if at all. Just her luck- stuck in the confusing middle once more.
