She told herself for the fiftieth time that she was not making the clubhouse look presentable because Tara told them to. No, she was doing it because the place was getting disgusting and it was embaressing for pretty girls to be hanging out in such a dump.

Besides, painting calmned her nerves.

She had dressed appropriately for the work she was taking up- overalls ripped to look old but were brand new covered a sports bra and locks tucked up in a messy ponytail. She was actually proud that she was going to be painting on her own rather then just asking those nice men who sat on the corner of Main and 21st every day looking for work to do it. Though, those guys did have nice butts.

It was a shame to cover up the finger paints and other works of art that decorated the clubhouse, but Jewell had a glorious vision in her mind and she was hell bent on making it work. Armed with several buckets of paint in various colors (it had taken her forever to get them all inside), a roller, different paint brushes and a black bag with a mysterious jar of something inside Jewell was ready to go.

She attacked the wall that contained the boarded up front door first. The base coat was a delicious light blue that she covered the entire wall in with the aid of her wings, she hadn't felt like dragging another ladder inside.

Next came the other colors, suited to the other girl's tastes because she knew they didn't all love blue as much as she did. Delicate swirls of greens and purples were worked in with a variety of brushes, a touch of yellow and orange here and there too. The paint had the added effect of faerie dust mixed in; that was what had been hidden in the black bag.
