I don?t want to scare anyone or be an alarmist, but there might have been some egg salad left in the refrigerator. I want to say it was left in a Tupperware container and that said container ?burped? properly upon closure before being placed into said refrigerator. I want to say that, I really, really, do.

Welcome back and thanks for opening the place back up.

Tara Rynieyn

Date: 2008-04-15 11:25 EST
LMAO

::nod:: Thank you, Chris's player. ::Turns to everyone:: Important safety tip, people! Always burp your containers and whatever you do, don't go into the fridge!

::turns back to Chris:: I'd just like to say, in response to your custom title....Soylent Green IS the people! ;)

Jenai Ravenlock

Date: 2008-04-15 12:07 EST
would ending everything with "its about fricken time?" be an over kill? too much? or is too much not enough?

RAWR! and Welcome Back Smexies!

Tara Rynieyn

Date: 2008-04-15 13:21 EST
LOL, Jen. Nope! Not overkill, not in the slightest :)

Oh, btw, everyone? ::looks both ways:: I am uhh running a little low on silver crowns for obvious reasons so if any of you would like to donate some to me, I'll be eternally grateful.

::grin:: I know. I'm horrid. But I am cute too!

JewellRavenlock

Date: 2008-04-15 16:22 EST
Okay, here is my first post as a married woman (eek how weird!) and it belongs in this folder more than anywhere else:

YIIIIIPPPEEEEE!!!

This is the best wedding present EVER!

I am just full of unbridled glee.

On another note: Sorry, Tara, I cannot spare any of my precious silver crowns (even if a good portion of them were yours -cough-) because Stephen is like.. dead weight here and I have to support him AND me!

Alex Ravenlock

Date: 2008-04-15 16:49 EST
Donation inc. Just because!

Tara Rynieyn

Date: 2008-04-15 18:50 EST
Yay! People are giving me money for doing absolutely nothing! Thank you! (I'm really really bad)

And I got my Jewelsie and Ammy back! Wooohoo!

Congrats on the nuptials, sweetheart. May you have many many happy years of marriage (and give me lots and lots of nieces and nephews!).

Love you!

Welcome back!

Hee!

Tara Rynieyn

Date: 2008-04-15 18:51 EST
Oh! I almost forgot!

Tell Stephen to get a damn job! :D

Zonker

Date: 2008-04-15 21:06 EST
::insert sincere. somewhat mushy -BUT STILL QUITE MANLY- welcome back to Tara and this folder::

As for the Kidd getting a job, why should he? Didn't he marry Jewel for the coins? Being "Mr. Empress" must be a tough gig.

Tara Rynieyn

Date: 2008-04-15 21:31 EST
This is true but if he gets a job we can be together more often :D I'm thinking outside the box here, Z.

Outside. :: grin ::

And thank you!

Yo. I may be a touch late but I wanted to drop a line and say hello n' welcome back.

So a hello and welcome back from the mun of Wofie.

And if he's still wanting stuff done with the Pride sometime, Cap'n Kidd still has at least one voluntary deckhand..er....greenhorn...::crawls off to bed singing Dr. Hook's(the mun's dad...yah) "I Got Stoned and I Missed It"::

Hi Wolfie!!!!

::gives a hug to NightRunner and specifies this time who "Wolfie" is because people at other message boards can't figure this out and confuse him with long defunct RDI Mgrs who couldn't do their jobs properly but, wonders never cease, still managed to keep it despite it all::

(yeah, I'm real bad)

Also! Welcome back, as well, oh wedded one! I hope your honeymoon was fabulous, Jewell!

Tara Rynieyn

Date: 2008-04-16 20:06 EST

Every time I read one of Chris's stories I immediately think he is Gus Openshaw and laugh my behind off.

Chris, dude, your talent amazes me. Your ease with words astounds me. You are truly a genius and I just want to pinch your cheeks!

Google "Gus Openshaw's Whale killing journal" and read the very first journal entry. It's a book now and I read the whole thing but you'll see what I mean by this when I say that Chris The RPS Guy IS Gus Openshaw ;)

And he's brilliant. Absolutely brilliant.

Ahah. So this is totally unrelated, but! I thought I'd post it here ;D

Okay, so I have a dev account on IMVU that I NEVER use. So, naturally, I have credits that are just sitting there. I don't know if anyone uses IMVU here...but if you do, drop me your avie name so I can use my credits to spoil you XD It doesn't really matter if I know you (generic) well or if we've rp'd together or not. I just would rather spend the creds on something.

Wow, I read this on Perez's blog and now I'm wondering... ::grin:: Are people outside of DM starting to take notice of my crazy loon and now are turning it into a tv series? ::tapping lip:: Maybe they should interview some of my friends on here to see how YOU guys cope with your characters being around mine. ::Giggle::

Emphasis below is mine.

Showtime has officially ordered 12 half hour episodes of stripper turned Juno Oscar-winner Diablo Cody's The United States of Tara .

Unfortunately, Tara Reid does not star in the show.

Fortunately, Aussie Toni Collette will star in the series as a wife and mother with dissociative identity disorder.

Sex and the City's Aidan, John Corbett, plays her husband.

The show will examine how a dysfunctional family copes with the various identities that might appear on any given day and range in age, temperament and even gender.

Toni Collette is an awesome actress. We can't wait to see what she'll do with her role!

The show's slated to premiere in early 2009.

Hoodwinked is open to everyone!! Jewell would naturally send out these secret admirer letters (aka invitations to some party) to specific people like close friends of the Blades but just as many could easily find their way into the hands of anyone in RhyDin.

The place of meeting (to meet up with the black carriage) was left blanked out and would be different in most love notes so people are not going to meet their secret admirer in the same place.

Zonker

Date: 2008-07-18 22:18 EST
Should one assume, or is it open to interpretation, that some of the invitations were sent out so as to cause two people to meet at the same spot, with each perhaps thinking the other is the secret admirer who sent it? Or for real fun, perhaps an odd number of people were all dispatched to the same place to really muddy the waters -instant "love triangles", so to speak?

I imagine that at least one of those things should be obvious to me but my brain is on half-wattage this evening.

JewellRavenlock

Date: 2008-07-19 12:10 EST
Actually, I hadn't even thought of that but it is a good idea!

My original intent was for people to not show up at the same place and all get into the carriages and be taken somewhere against there will (mwahaha!) but really, I left it open so play away however way you want!

JewellRavenlock

Date: 2008-07-26 22:38 EST
Hehehe! Thank you to everyone replying to Hoodwinked so far! This is so fun :)

JewellRavenlock

Date: 2008-07-27 17:11 EST
I am in the middle of sending out invites to join in on Hoodwinked. If you haven't gotten one, don't worry! The memberlist is loooong and I'm still going through it.

Let it be known, though, that everyone (whether you receive an invitation or not) is invited to join in.

JewellRavenlock

Date: 2008-08-04 21:53 EST
I want to assure everyone that the next part of Hoodwinked will be posted this week. I'm working out some OOC drama on other fronts but I am going to get it done. If I don't by the end of this week, feel free to harass me until I do!

JewellRavenlock

Date: 2008-08-06 09:42 EST
New Hoodwinked post up.

Clarifications:
-Everyone is free to play/write getting in the carriage (or not getting in the carriage) and the ride to the clubhouse as they wish.

-Others, just because I posted the next step doesn't mean you can't play still getting invitations if you want.

-Everyone is free to play/write the driver NPCs and the faux-Ninja NPCs as they want.

Enjoy :)

Date: 2008-09-12 16:32 EST
I want to promise everyone that I haven't forgotten Hoodwinked. I have got out of the writing groove over the last few weeks but I am going to make an effort to get a reply up for that thread within the next week.

Tara! I'm really enjoying your latest thread. If I tried for ten years I could never be able to write that much and make it interesting for people to read. Believe me, I've tried.. and even I got bored of it.

Tara, that last post was fantastic!

I couldn't stop laughing. It was really great. You have me hooked.

And makes me want to send Cole in there to game with Tara. Though he doesn't know what a computer is.. Haha

Great stuff, Missy Tara. You rock.

Tara Rynieyn

Date: 2008-10-29 16:40 EST
::Giggle:: Thank you, Cole! Very much.

I was sitting here this morning, sneezing my brains out, trying to think of something to write when it occured to me that Tara had never actually used a computer or played an online game before.

Part of what I wrote actually happened to me when I started playing FLYFF. I wasn't into the whole MMORPG thing so a lot of it was very confusing for me and the kids in the game all thought I was funny, running around, not knowing what I was doing.

Now, though, I'm a Level 76 RingMaster so :P on them and I'm like their Mom. The player of Tasslehofl plays with me on FLYFF. We have a guild but we never got a Glaive of Awesome Knowledge yet! ;)

But, I'm glad you liked it. I'm going to have her keep playing the game here and there and getting into trouble.

Thank you, very much for the words of encouragement, sweetie. It's what makes writing and playing here a lot of fun for me :)

While I haven't read every post of "Famous Life", the ones I've been able to read are great - Its fun to watch the development. Well done indeed!

Tara Rynieyn

Date: 2008-11-24 15:06 EST
Thank you, Anabel and Trav :)

My schedule's been a bit crazy lately so I don't have as much time to sit down and write but I am working on another Jared/Tara post. It's just I want it to be perfect before I put it to the thread. It has to be worded a certain way so it doesn't give away the surprise at the end which, if you've been reading the IMs between them, you can probably guess what's going to occur ;)

I've also got a lot of other updates to put in her journal as well. Several things have happened that need to be put in there but time is once again an issue.

It'll be slow going but I'll do it, eventually :D

Yeah, it's how I communicate these days instead of just, oh, I don't know, IMing people? :D

Or, you know, I leave them messages in the OOC forums of our message board in the hopes that they will know to just look in it, wondering if I'm trying to contact them.

Hee!

OK, I must admit that, initially, I was having some trouble getting into the whole Legend of Zod arc. Today's entry, however, was FREAKIN' brillliant!

I love the withering satire. The LOZ forum looks so very familiar. Well done!

I laughed so much. It's really amusing. ^^

Tara Rynieyn

::Throws another kiss to Skiddles:: Thank you again. You can comment all day long if you like, it's what's keeping me writing it, the comments I receive. It's nice to know others are enjoying it.

The freaky thing about writing Tara asking for a pony is yesterday I checked FLYFF's website to see what updates there were. Every Thursday the game is updated. And would you believe they made a pony pet! I did a doubletake because that was just so weird and coincidental as I had no knowledge they were doing that when I wrote what I did.

For those of you reading this who don't know how FLYFF applies to any of this, it is the free MMORPG I have played for the last three years. I am using a lot of what I experienced playing it for the first time as a complete newb to write Tara's experiences with LoZ.

And....as another side note here, like I told someone else I was speaking to about this, the FLYFF forum moderators and administrators are heavily biased which is what gave me the idea for the forum flamewar.

When I first started playing, I went to the FLYFF boards to learn and I couldn't believe all the nasty threads there were. As I dug deeper and read I noticed a very peculiar pattern where a lot of the older members of the community (mostly all of them young children) would go after newer members and if anyone complained, the Admins/Mods would side with the instigators of the fight, not the victims LOL

It was very eye-opening and though I tried to stick up for a few kids initially, I quickly realized I was getting my ass kicked by a lot of twelve year olds and to shut up. So I don't post there anymore LOL

As for our illustrious DM, I've had extremely positive experiences with our younger players and they don't treat me as badly as the FLYFF kids do.

::shudder:: Man oh man are those children ruthless.
