Shamrock Shindig!

Well, wow. We?ll start at the beginning. At least the mood was set for a shindig Saturday night in the Marketplace! Green and gold fairy lights were strung about. There were all sorts of tasty treats and some great specials on alcohol. That?s certainly all that?s needed to bring out a collection of RhyDin?s finest! And a varied sampling of society certainly appeared!

John was there with a chick that was most certainly NOT Harper! We hear that her name is May and she?s quite the hottie. Not only is she gorgeous but she definitely knows it and dresses the part. John certainly scared himself up one heck of a date for the night! He had Harper in his lap the night before and May in his lap Saturday night. The guy certainly has something that the ladies like! They weren?t the only ones out on a date! Carley and Cy came to the party hand-in-hand! We hear that Cutie Carley tried to get Baron Neo to dance while Cy watched his mischievous girlfriend with a grin. ADORABLE! Neo?s not exactly a natural dancer but Harold and his new hubby Scotty didn?t seem the least bit self-conscious. We hear the pair were moving and grooving and while they may not have been perfectly on beat, they were definitely having a blast!

We?ve heard that Maia is back in town but now our sources have finally confirmed it! Maia was seen spinning around the dance floor with a beer in hand with Scotty. It?s good to hear that she?s happy and laughing! She was evidently overheard telling Scotty that she?s now living nearby and couldn?t resist the revelry and casual fun. Fantastic! That?s exactly why we?ve always had a soft spot for her! Wherever there is casual fun, Lirssa is never too far from the center of it! We hear that Lil? Bit and a handful of her friends were seen dancing and partaking in the merrymaking. Even Silas was seen breaking out of his shell for a dance or two!

And then all hell broke loose. Really, should anybody be surprised when hounds from hell or vicious unexplained storms break up a party anymore? Whenever there are gatherings of three or more in RhyDin chaos will surely follow.

These beasts seemed to come from everywhere and attacked the crowd. As usual in these types of situations, the news accounts and accounts from our sources differ drastically as to what these beasts looked like, how they attacked, the number of them, and the number of injured and dead. Let?s just say it wasn?t pretty and there were definitely some who did not make it out of the Marketplace alive. According to our sources, some of those there seemed to have some knowledge of the beasts and there were shouts about how they ate magic.

Such claims seem to be confirmed by the concern that was shown for the known magic users in the crowd. Scotty, Harold, and Renne were quick to protect Silas and to try to get him away from the confrontation. Unfortunately for their efforts Silas and Neo seemed to be relying on their knowledge of magic to distract the beasts from attacking the very large crowd that had gathered for the event. Oddly enough or perhaps not so oddly, Lirssa was in the thick of it and she was actually one of the ones who seemed to be making a dent in the situation. Along with some pretty blonde named Shauna, Lirssa was using a hydrant to somehow melt the beasts.

Cy and John got separated from their dates. Carley and May were found but after very close calls. In fact, we hear that Cutie Carley was actually paralyzed for a while by some sort of neurotoxin that the beasts can produce. Great. That?s just great. Carley was pretty shaken and panicked by the time the men reached her. Just hearing the story makes us want to give her a big old hug! We?re sure that Cy will do a good job consoling her. Our sources tell us that he looked pretty shaken himself at the fact that they had been separated in the mayhem.

Scotty was another of the ones who was paralyzed by the neurotoxin. Harold was seen pulling him away while Maia and Harry (who showed up in the middle of the drama) gave him cover. Don?t worry too much! Maia was overheard telling Harold that Scotty should only be paralyzed for an hour or two and then he?d start coming around. Harold was evidently pretty upset. We have to imagine that watching your husband almost die mere days after you said your ?I do?s has to be a life-changing experience. Speaking of a close knit pair, our sources tell us that Maia and Harry are one hell of a deadly force together.

After that, accounts get a bit sketchy but we hear that the party was most certainly over. The interns and I agree that this probably isn?t the last we?ve heard of those crazy beasts. Be on the look out, folks!

Winter Cycle Warlord Tournament!

A talented pool of warlords that included several former barons and former overlords gathered to fight it out in the winter cycle Warlord Tournament for an intercession free shot at the Overlord, Ticallion Carter. There were twelve warlords including the Talon (due to a new perk that will now be associated with the Talon allowing its winner to enter into the storied event) and it seemed that all were well prepared to lay it all down for a chance to win the test of endurance, stamina, and heart!

The holder of the Talon, Imp, was in rare form. Our sources reported back to us that he was already calling himself ?the Overlord? and shouting at his opponents that they were not allowed to hit him. We have a feeling that G?nort was suddenly rethinking this whole Talon in the Warlord Tournament thing. Imp was certainly making a spectacle of himself because if there?s one thing Imp knows how to do well it?s get attention!

Big shock! Another night, another chance for Kalamere to get close with another baroness. The night before it was Teagan and Sunday night it was Lil? Black Book Jaycy that was seen getting cozy with Kal. We hear that she was seen laying a kiss against his cheek while they watched the Arena?s warlords duke it out. We?re pretty surprised to see that Kalamere didn?t enter the tournament himself. Maybe he wasn?t fibbing when he said that he was no longer interested in titles. Kal didn?t stick around long but was sure to tell Jaycy that they would catch up later in the week. Oh, we bet that they will!

Soerl didn?t have an easy going in the tournament. Not only was he getting it from all angles in the ring but his wife, Lydia, wasn?t too thrilled with him either. Evidently she was overheard giving him quite the lecture for his recent behavior towards Cutie Carley and Harper. While Soerl apologized to Harper, he didn?t seem to keen on the idea of apologizing to Cutie Carley. In fact, he was overheard saying that she had been ?mean? to him. Are you serious? She?s the most adorable thing on the planet! We don?t buy it all! We always knew there was a reason that we didn?t like Soerl! JERK! Harper stuck up for Carley and told him to take it easy on her. Yay, Harper!

OMG! John was in a pretty anxious sort of mood Sunday night. Has playing two girls got to be too much for him??? Our sources tell us that he was actually overheard saying to Harper that May?s going to kill him for leading her to believe that he and Harper are over! WHAT?!?! Dude, you don?t tell one girl how you?ve been playing the other. Confessions are only good for the heart, not for staying alive!

Oh, no! Who in their right mind said it was okay for Rowdy Rekah to be spending time with Cas??? We hear that they have often been seen together while we?ve been gone and that it has a creepy sort of romantic vibe to it. Ugh. Cas was overheard calling Rekah a distraction between matches due to her beauty (gross!) and the pair seemed actually smitten. There is something so very wrong about this. Where are all the protective forces in her life to stop this??? Our sources also say that Cas was overheard saying that he had only entered for the competition and wasn?t actually interested in the Overlord title. He is, however, interested in becoming a baron. There?s usually a round of baronial challenges right after the Warlord Tournament. We wouldn?t be shocked if Cas turned out to be one of them. Who do YOU think he will challenge?

Marcus was the MAN in the tournament! The kid?s been a real dueling whiz and he made sure to put his stamp on this tournament. We hear that one round he even SHUT OUT the very experienced Morgan in five rounds. Ouch! Morgan made up for it a bit by having her own shut out in five in the loser?s bracket over Red who is an old warlord who returned just in time for the WLT.

In the end, however, the crazy Talon holder, Imp, emerged from the Winner?s Bracket and Wrecking Crew member, Kheldar, emerged from the Loser?s Bracket. The Crew failed to secure their hold on the Overlord title through this Warlord Tournament as the Talon shut out Kheldar in six rounds! We hear that Imp was a little anxious when Dioxane told him that his prize was a shot at Tical for the title. That is he was afraid until he remembered that Tical owes him a debt. Unfortunately, Imp didn?t explain further but we?re dyyyyying to know what Tical owes Imp and why!

I guess we?ll just have to wait for that challenge to be issued to know the details!

Somebody?s Granny Monday!

Evidently the child size Taneth is still making her way around RhyDin. She was seen in the Red Dragon Inn with Lil? Bit Lirssa Monday night. L.B. Lirssa does seem to have a way of attracting every troubled child in a thirty mile radius. She?s like that kid you always hear about that?s constantly bringing home strays but instead of dogs or cats, they?re kids. They joined up with Rowdy Rekah at the bar and found themselves some cookies. See, this is why Rekah and Cas creeps us out! Rowdy Rekah seems more the type to be eating cookies in the Inn with Taneth and Lirssa rather than hanging out in the Arena serving as arm candy for a former Baron. It?s like a middle age man sleeping with his stepdaughter. Ugh. Why are you doooooing this to us, Cas???

The mood in the Inn was pretty upbeat even if the crowd was still small. The pretty young owner of Cameron Horse Farms, Aliss, was out and about. We hear that she was seen joking around with Ali, Fio, and Mac. Of course, as the much of the rest of the crowd was eating cookies and drinking milk, Mac was throwing back vodka. But that?s just Mac for you!

The playful atmosphere was ruined by some ice queen type who seemed to make Ali, Fio, and Lirssa awfully nervous. Our sources say that while she was quite beautiful she was a bit scary as well. We?re told that her presence left Ali looking for Darien. Chief Mischief Maker Eless who had just come from a visit with her friend, Rena, in the Outback was able to tell the tense group that Darien was in the Outback so Lirssa led the strange woman into the Outback. We?re wondering if this woman is some chick that Darien has wronged. We bet he?s got a past littered with scorned women.

Earlier in the evening in the Outback, Harris and Cy reeeeaaally got into it. Harris was overheard telling Cy that he failed as Carley?s boyfriend and telling him to hand over all of Carley?s possessions (including her underwear). Evidently, Harris felt that Cy had not done enough to protect Carley during the mayhem at the Shindig. Carley tried to break it up even as Cy destroyed a bar stool over Harris? back and Harris had to even things up by breaking a stool across Cy?s knee! We bet Matt?s going to send him a bill for that! Even Koy was overheard mentioning that Matt was NOT going to be happy. You?d think with all the times people have destroyed or burned down the Outback, Matt would have gotten used to it by now! Anyway, Cy stormed out and Harris used this as further proof that Cy was not good enough for Carley and then he tried hooking Cutie Carley up with Kalamere!

But as we know Kalamere is only interested in baronesses! And he certainly had his hands full last night with them! We hear that Lil? Black Book Jaycy had her hands ALL OVER HIM! We knew that this thing with Pslyder was only a brief visit in the land of monogamy. Lil? Black Book Jaycy simply cannot help herself! Evidently Kalamere was certainly interested. The two were overheard planning a lunch date in order to talk in a more private location. Thanks for FINALLY remembering your roots, L.B.B. Jaycy! This is juuuuust the start. She?ll have bagged a half dozen guys before the next WLT and somewhere along the way broken Pslyder?s heart. What would we do without Jaycy in our lives???

Darien was seen chatting with Collie?s GRANDdaughter! That?s right! Not only is Collie a MILF but she?s a GILF as well! We have to wonder if it makes him feel a little sleazy to be reminded that he had his grabby hands all over somebody?s granny the other night??? We doubt it, though. We?re pretty sure that Darien embraces the sleaze. No idea, by the way, about what happened between him and that mystery woman that spooked Ali so much. They were seen leaving together once Darien mentioned wanting a private conversation with her. Iiiiinteresting!

Never Ending Supply Wednesday!

Wolvie was seen in the Red Dragon Inn Wednesday night getting caught up on what happened Saturday night in the Marketplace! A little late to the party, aren?t we??? In fact, where are all of RhyDin?s great hero types??? Wolvie? Alain? Grem? Lucky? None of them were present Saturday night! We are hearing that House DeMuer is actually pulling back some of its assets!!! That suggests to us that Alain thinks this is going to get A LOT worse. Since all four of those guys are now taken, are they too busy bonking their girls to realize that the city?s in trouble??? Somebody HAS to emerge from this ready to take on these things, right??? RHYDIN NEEDS A HERO!

We have to wonder if rumors of these beasts is what is keeping the crowds so light over the last couple of days. It was light in the Outback as well. Our sources did see Scotty getting some duels in. It?s awesome to see him taking more and more of an interest in the dueling venues! He?s definitely somebody that we here at the Den of Gossip can get behind and root for!

Lil? Black Book Jaycy was at Pslyder?s side as he called some duels. Blah. We hear that she was seen stealing some bites off his burger. Better watch those hips, girl! You?re not getting any younger and you know what happens to a woman?s metabolism as she gets older. Those things you call curves are starting to look more like love handles! Ha! Burn! Score one for the GangSTAR!

The Governor MAN-tastic Matt was seen chatting with Rollo, a horse trainer for Collie. It seems Rollo?s struggling to make it work in the dueling venues and Matt was giving him a bit of advice. With rumors of the schedule for the next election coming out we have to wonder how much of his ?advice? was about helping out a young duelist and how much of it was about being friendly with a potential voter. Oh, come on! Don?t buy into the stupid hunk routine. Matt?s a politician. Nothing he does isn?t 100% calculated!

Our sources tell us that Kattria was QUITE interested in the lunch date that Kalamere and Jaycy had! What did we tell you??? In fact, she seemed down right disappointed to hear that it had already happened. That didn?t stop her from spending the rest of the night flirting with him. Flirt all you like, darling, but unless you get a baronial ring on your finger, we don?t think Kalamere will be interested in doing anything but looking. That man DEFINITELY has a type? and his type has NOTHING to do with hair color. Speaking of which, while Kattria was busy in a ring, Kalamere was seen throwing back the booze with Slutty Pirate Girl Teagan. We?re really starting to like Kalamere! We have the feeling that he?s going to provide us a never ending supply of drama and gossip!

Naughty Friday!

After a pretty quiet week, the Red Dragon Inn was at least a bit busy Friday night. Rumor of these beasts has everybody a little bit antsy and we?re hearing that more than one mage is taking the opportunity to lay low. As many know, the interns and I aren?t exactly without a bit of magic ourselves. We?ve decided to hunker down in the Den of Gossip until this whole thing blows over. Rest assured though, loyal readers! We will never abandon you without gossip!

One of the heroes we were hoping to see hasn?t abandoned the city showed up in the Inn Friday night! We hear that Awesome Alain was seen hanging out catching up with some friends with his girl, Sophie. They were heard discussing the issue only briefly but we?re told both of their companies have been pulling back operations in the city and sending their mages into hiding. Our sources say that after the Shamrock Shindig and the actions of a certain someone in his House, he?s decreasing his presence in the city in part at least to keep the city from turning on them over the incident. If he?d like to keep public opinion in his favor he should find a way to destroy all the beasts! Back to his love life, though, for a minute. We?re starting to get reports that this thing with the Rhovnik girl may not be passing. Her family?s already pushing for marriage so if anybody wants one last shot at him they better do it quickly!

Ethan had a brief conversation with Alain that seemed to leave him a bit off kilter and was later seen in a booth catching up with Doc Eva. He definitely seemed a bit uneasy. Anybody else feel like Ethan?s hiding something again??? He should really just be completely honest because he doesn?t seem like he?s great at hiding stuff. They chatted about their significant others and how happy they are in their relationships (boooooring!) and also addressed Ethan?s brother (so sad!). It was certainly good to see both of them hanging out. It sounds like Ethan?s going to try to spend more time in the city so that he can see Maeve more often. He definitely seems to be putting the effort into making their relationship work. Good for him!

It seemed the night for Eva to catch up with her male friends as she was later seen congratulating Lil? Boy Blue Locke on his Madness win. Eva seems to have an awful lot of ?platonic? male friends. ANYWAY! Locke was in quite the good mood and celebrating his victory over Napoleon as he had been down quite a bit but turned things around to win the match. Don?t let it go too much to your head, Locke. You just beat a rat who likes to have his belly rubbed and will do anything for candy.

Another night, another woman whose life Lucky Lawyer Lucien must fix. The kid version of Taneth was in the Inn munching on apples dipped in peanut butter. Lucky was overheard asking her if she has seen any of the other Taneths recently. She said that she hadn?t but couldn?t narrow down when it was she saw them last. What?s happening to her just gets sadder and sadder! Eventually it?s all got to work out alright?. right???

Crazy Train Tara was spotted for the first time since our return to RhyDin in typical C.T. Tara fashion. Our sources tell us she was wearing some sort of very revealing bikini. She, of course, was her usual self. She evidently was instructing kid Taneth on the finer points of capturing a butterfly and ripping off its wings. Nice. When the cute new girl, Aliss, showed some interest in being nice to kid Taneth, C.T. Tara let her know just how ancient kid Taneth really is. We hear that Aliss was a bit floored by the news. Poor girl. This is a strange town. C.T. Tara didn?t bother cushioning the blow because she was too busy arguing with Collie over which of them was the last to have set the Inn?s kitchen on fire.

Just another insane night in the Red Dragon Inn!

Things got started early in the Annex as dueling kicked off for the night with a challenge! Tormay faced off against the squire of the Old Temple district, Kalinda, for a shot at the Old Market barony! In an odd turn of events, Tormay actually decided to use the one match format to face down Kalinda. She kept her nose to the grindstone but in the end Tormay?s experience was able to bring the match home. So, unfortunately, we?ll have to go another day without an exotic dancer as a baroness! Such a bummer! But congratulations to Tormay!

?uh, does somebody want to tell us at what point Rowdy Rekah and Dawn became friends??? Sin and Sal disappear from public life and all of a sudden Rekah is dating Cas and is besties with Dawn??? Sure, we?ve said in the past that Sin and Sal aren?t exactly the world?s greatest role models but?. PLEASE COME BACK! You guys can?t let this happen to Rekah! Our sources report back that Rekah and Dawn were discussing horses over drinks. We?re completely icked out by this news.

Kalamere was overheard making dinner plans with yet ANOTHER baroness. This time it was Maria who he was showing interest in. It?s only a matter of time before he?s bagged all three baronesses. It?s a bit risky of the former Overlord to set his eyes on the current Overlord?s girl, though, no? We don?t think Tical will be as understanding about Kalamere banging his girlfriend as Pslyder was. After all, Jaycy is sort of community property. On the other hand, maybe Tical is getting used to losing his girlfriend to over the hill duelists. Yep, I went there!

We have a pair of candidates for this year?s most ridiculous newlyweds! Harold and Scotty! After their antics Friday night, they may take the hands-down win! Our sources claim that there was quite the ruckus in the Marketplace and when people began to investigate they saw a pair of young strapping men having sex on the roof of one of the buildings. Yep. You read that right. Our sources tell us that it was, in fact, Harold and Scotty. To follow up their naughty evening, they showed up in the Annex with their clothing in a state of disarray to partake in some violence?. because who needs cuddling when you can beat on people???

MoonBeryl Sunday!

Fio and Ali were seen being all mushy in the Red Dragon Inn Sunday night! They went through their usual round of ?What do you want to eat?? followed by ?No, what do YOU want to eat??. It?s really enough to make the sanest person want to strangle them both for just how sickeningly sweet the pair of them are. We get it! You two love each other! Now get into a huge fight so we can talk behind your backs and wonder if your relationship is on the rocks! Really, that?s much more fun for us here at the Den of Gossip. Anyway, our sources tell us that Fio?s DEFINITELY starting to look pregnant which erases any hope we had that this was all some elaborate prank. Ali is not going to be able to keep his responsibilities down to a minimum it seems. Doesn?t he have enough on his plate? Does he really need a child as well?

There was some sort of relationship drama on going in the Inn most of the night but we don?t know the players at all. Brian showed up and seemed mildly amused by the evening?s entertainment. A very subdued Brian caught up with some friends and had a couple drinks. He certainly doesn?t act like the carefree Brian of old?. but really who could blame him??? He?s had one heck of a year. We only hope that he can focus on his wife and children. They definitely need him to stay strong through this whole mess.

Speaking of somebody that hasn?t been seen around much lately, Maia was seen in the Inn and seemed to be trying to keep a low profile. When someone introduced themselves to her, she was polite but not the least bit friendly. In fact, we hear that she spent the whole night appearing very guarded. We wonder if that whole melee at the St Patrick?s Day Shindig really has shaken her. Rumor has it that she was definitely in the thick of things and there was a lot of carnage. We sure hope that she?s okay.

Collie was seen hanging out with an old friend (whose name our sources were unable to catch) and feeding the kid version of Taneth masses amounts of cookies. We hear that Taneth was pretty well behaved but we?d be well behaved too if somebody just kept putting down cookies in front of us! Anyway, we hear that Darien joined Collie and her friend. There definitely seemed to be some tension between the two men. Our sources got the feeling that this male family friend (who is evidently a friend of Collie?s son-in-law) did not think the whole Darien/Collie thing was a good idea. We agree! She?s a grandmother for crying out loud! She needs a nice stable guy whose been around the block a time or two.

Ballerina Katarina and her cousin Juliane were seen chatting in the Inn late into the night. Those girls stay awfully busy with their individual endeavors. They seemed thrilled to have the opportunity to talk about old times and catch up on each other?s lives. Things seem to be getting awfully serious between Katarina and Locke. We just hope that she doesn?t make the same mistake that Eva has! MAKE THE MAN MARRY YOU! Anyway, the girls were overheard trying to put a plan together to take care of the Smith twins so that Johnny and Sianna could get a little bit of alone time. How sweet are they???

The dueling venues were packed with the last of the first round of Madness duels going on in the Annex and a crowd gathered in the Outback for a Slugfest Tournament to try to win MoonBeryl.

Harris was in the Outback at the start of the tournament but, unfortunately, didn't make it past the first round. He did take the opportunity to try to convince Carley (who was there to participate in the tournament) to leave Cy YET AGAIN! It just doesn?t seem to be getting him anywhere. Carley?s pretty head over heels about this guy.

Jaycy was there calling duels but she also had a conversation with Maria about Kattria. It seems that Jaycy wanted to know why Maria would warn Kattria to stay away from Kalamere. We hear that Maria was pretty pissed and denied the accusation. Jaycy tried to get her to calm down but Maria didn?t seem to be having any of it. She was seen stalking out shortly after the conversation began and Jaycy was left looking none to pleased by how the confrontation went down. We?re still DYING to know what is going on here. Kalamere is just causing TONS of drama among these women and we totally HEART him for it!

The final match for the opal came down to Jake of Red Orc Brewery and Badsider fame against Cutie Carley. Yep, you read that right. CUTIE CARLEY made it through a sixteen person tournament to show up in the final round. The match was VERY quick but that doesn?t mean that Cutie Carley didn?t hold her own. It was over after a few short rounds with a final score of 6-3 with Jake as the winner. An amazing performance by the little spitfire, though. And a big old hearty CONGRATULATIONS must go out to Jake!

And it seems that he got more than one prize for the night! Not only did he take home the opal but rumor has it that he was seen carrying Lil? Black Book Jaycy out of the Outback after she promised to help him ?celebrate?. OMG! We?re not really sure which one of them to want to slap upside the head. Maybe Jake because he just took home the Arena slut??? Maybe Jaycy because she went home with a half-orc??? Or maybe they just deserve one another! This makes my head ache.

After participating in the tournament, Ms. Wyh Not was seen calling duels in the Annex. She and that Roran fellow seem to still be going strong. He was seen looming behind the couch as she called. We hear that he was, as usual, very attentive to her needs and at the end of the night carried her out. This Roran certainly seems to have swept Wyh right up off her feet! Good for him to notice a real catch when he sees one!

Wow, wow, wow! Kalamere was chatting with Teagan? which wouldn?t be all that unusual considering his love for baronesses? BUT we hear that he was asking to use the kitchen at her baronial manor for the week since he evidently had his removed to put in a pool table. We assume this has something to do with the bet that he lost to Maria in which he has to cook her dinner. Anyway, Teagan let him use the kitchen FOR A PRICE! Evidently Teagan is going to make him challenge. No idea who the challenge has to be issued to but it was about somebody specific. We hear that Teagan was seen jotting down the name for Kalamere. And Kalamere AGREED! OMG! We?re so excited to see if he?s still got it and to see who that challenge has to be issued to!

Paradise?s Tuesday!

The action started early Tuesday night in the Red Dragon Inn. After making fools of themselves over one another (and probably destroying both of their relationships in the mean time), Mack and Danny were again seen together hanging out. When Danny got into it with some mystery chick who REALLY thought she was something special, Mack stepped in and told the little you-know-what not to touch her man again. We don?t like cheaters AT ALL but we have to agree that anyone who attacks someone when they go to shake your hand is a coward and doing flips in the middle of the Inn is just plain annoying. Point and win to Mack and Danny there.

That handsome Allan guy was seen with a pretty little thing that?s supposedly new to town. That?s going to make some women in RhyDin painfully jealous! He is, after all, considered one of the more eligible bachelors even though we know next to nothing about him. The girl he was with was a pretty little brunette with an English accent named Bee. We have to admit that we?ve seen him talking to a lot of pretty women but that?s the first time that he actually seemed a bit smitten. He was overheard inviting her to come along with him to the spaceport and he?d show her around. We have a feeling that?s not all he?d show her? if you know what we?re saying!

Over on Twilight Island, eight competitors faced off in a single elimination tournament to find out who would have the opportunity to take Sivanna?s spot as Keeper of Fire now that Sivanna has moved on to the title of Archmage. The night was heavy in dueling action but light on gossip. The Archmage was seen whispering to Venom Vinny at one point. What could the two of them have to whisper about??? If I was her husband I would NOT be happy to see her with her head so close to Venom Vinny. He has a? well, a reputation.

As for Venom Vinny (can we say how glad we are that he?s out and about more now?), he seemed pretty surprised to see Anne back. He asked her when she returned from the dead and her response was ?recently?. We?ve got to admit that we?re more than a little curious about what she?s doing back in RhyDin and what her plans are!

At the end of the night it was Paradise who emerged victorious and took the key to the tower! Congratulations, Paradise!

With all the action on Twilight Island, the Outback was a bit on the quiet side but Roran certainly didn?t seem to mind! It meant that he got to spend most of Ms. Wyh Not?s shift on the couch cuddled up with her. Wow. We really didn?t think that this relationship would progress as far as it has. But they almost seem like they?re in love! We?re dying to see what happens next!

P-IMP for Overlord Thursday!

Our sources spotted Wolvie and Aly in the Red Dragon Inn for the first time in FOREVER! Really, it?s been far too long since we were subject to her craziness. This has got to be the longest engagement ever? or did they elope and not tell anyone? Nah! Aly would never do that to us! Anyway, we hear that Lang made some rather choice sexual comments about Aly?. and while Wolvie got grumpy about them he didn?t do ANYTHING! Seriously??? What happened to the days when a guy would knock another guy on his rear for saying something about what sexual positions his girl enjoyed? We hear that they did combine forces to mock Lang out of the Inn. Fine, fine. But either get into a nasty argument with one another, sucker punch a guy for messing with your girl, or get married already!

Are we really supposed to believe that Allan and Bee have no interest in one another beyond friendship??? Really??? You could cut the sexual tension with a knife. Not only have our sources continually spotted them together laughing and bordering on flirtatious since they met but he was seen introducing her to his friends Thursday night. We here that he introduced her to Mack who was quick to kid the couple about getting married. See, even clueless Mack sees it! Speaking of clueless Mack, we hear that she was seen later in the night getting close with Danny. It seems these two aren?t even hiding their attraction to one another anymore. You just can?t trust the men in this town to stay loyal! We hope that Lizzie comes back soon because she WILL go medieval on someone?s ass!

Imp was calling matches in the Arena and somehow managing to be even more obnoxious than usual. It seems that he was pinning pretty much everybody with ?I HEART IMP FOR OVERLORD!? pins, including the Overlord?s loyal barons and Wrecking Crew teammates. Yet again, however, nobody took a swing at him despite his antics. One of these days Imp?s going to take a beat down. We?re just not entirely sure who it will be that will eventually snap.

Our sources overheard Sarah asking Kalinda if she wanted to ?get warmed up?. We?re pretty sure that more than one jaw in the placed dropped clear to the floor. Then Kalinda was overheard saying that she would inform Imp of their intentions. Oh, we bet that?s some action that the P-Imp would want in on! Evidently the two girls were just talking about a duel, though. Total bummer.

Well, Kalamere has now slept with the easiest baroness of the bunch in Lil? Black Book Jaycy and it seems he?s now moving to the next of the baroness triumvirate in Slutty Pirate Girl Teagan. The pair were seen chatting together for quite a while and the innuendos were fast and furious! Are we the only ones that feel like Kalamere is up to something but just can?t quite figure out what it is??? Is there a political motivation behind why he seems so set on seducing and bedding the baronesses??? Or is he just attracted to women who hold titles in the Arena??? With three very different personalities and three very different looks (a short redhead, a tall blonde, and an average brunette), it?s not like they all fit the same mold. Any ideas???

We were thrilled to see two off-the-wall nut jobs who we haven?t seen in some time in Crazy Train Tara and Sullen Sal! Sullen Sal seemed set on one thing and one thing only for the night ? busting heads. Tara, on the other hand, was pretty well occupied with a slave boy who was missing a tongue. Evidently the slave was a gift from Dawn. Yep, you read that right. Dawn. What wife would give her husband?s mistress a present??? If we were Tara we?d be a little nervous that this slave might kill us in our sleep! Tara?s behavior got increasingly odd through out the night as she has the tendency of doing. Sal was seen laying one heck of a kiss on her and at one point Lucky Lawyer Lucien even had to talk her out of killing another patron. Just another day in the life of L.L. Lucien!

Go Fish Saturday!

Remember that Kate girl that we said was overheard saying she didn?t know where her husband was??? Well, either she found him and didn?t like what she found or she stopped looking because she evidently was seen in the Red Dragon Inn Saturday night announcing that she had signed the official documents and was now a free woman. We hear that she was also overheard saying that she didn?t think she was going to tell her current boyfriend about the ex-husband. What??? Do you women really do that to men??? Is there no place for honesty in relationships in RhyDin??? You?ve got to tell your new man that you?ve been married before! You?d be pissed if he didn?t tell you, wouldn?t you???

Mack was seen in the Inn telling Allan and Bee that her man left her and she?s now trying to get rid of her flat since it?s more room than she needs. Well, yeah, boyfriends have a tendency of leaving when you CHEAT ON THEM! No sympathy, sister! Not an ounce of it. You deserve what you get and karma is a you-know-what so watch your backside! Mack was evidently teasing Allan and Bee about taking her place and moving in together. We?re pretty positive this relationship is going to take off in a fast and furious sort of way.

Harris was seen in the Inn with his hair combed and wearing a tie. It turned out that he had taken Collie out to dinner! Reaaaaally??? Our sources spotted Collie telling a drunk Darien about the dinner date. Huh. We have to wonder what Collie?s up to. She definitely made it sound like a date but Collie?s not the type to go after a married man, just a younger one. And she spent most of her night in an intimate chat with Darien who seemed out of sorts even before he got the news of the dinner that Harris and Collie shared. Iiiiinteresting! Harris, on the other hand, spent the night oogling every beautiful woman who walked through the door. He tried to convince Aolani to let him teach her how to play Go Fish, he congratulated Kalinda for making Warlord, and he yelled catcalls at Sivanna when she walked through the door. He?s really just cruising for some serious trouble with all these women around him all the time! In fact, we hear that Aolani didn?t get the rules of Go Fish. She just kept asking about when in the game she was supposed to take off her clothes and what cards meant that she was supposed to kiss Harris. Don?t say we didn?t warn you, Harris!

We hear that game of Go Fish got broken up by some sort of confrontation between Aolani and some shape-shifting cat-woman named Riley. There was evidently a brawl? and we suppose we should make some sort of obligatory cat fight joke but that?s really too corny even for us. We have no idea what it was about but it certainly wasn?t pretty. Riley evidently accused Aolani of betraying her and Aolani told Riley she was too messed up to be saved. There?s a lot of women like that in RhyDin. We?re betting it was over a man because it usually is.

Our sources were unable to catch most of it but we do hear that Crazy Train Tara got into it with Dillon and Harris later into the night. We have no idea how they annoyed her but with the pair of them it really could have been anything. We do know that Tara?s revenge involved her trusty old chainsaw and we?re relatively sure that Dillon and Harris both survived the encounter. And if they didn?t, would they really be such a loss???

The Madness action was hot and heavy down in the Arena! The gossip, however, was a little light. We hear that Kalinda had her eye on a strapping new duelist named Roderick. She didn?t seem to be hiding her intentions either. Also, we hear that Kalamere was seen leaving the Arena later in the night with Slutty Pirate Girl Teagan at his side. That?s two out of three for those of you that are keeping count at home. He?s only got one more to go before he has the whole box set!

Life?s Fantastic Sunday!

With the second round of Madness dueling wrapping up in the Annex and the Talon of Redwin Tournament unfolding in the Arena, the Red Dragon Inn was pretty vacant Sunday night. The lovely Sjira was seen in the Inn for a while chatting with a man who seemed to be trying to give her quite a lot of money. Men handing large sums of money out to pretty young women always gets our attention?. even more so when the pretty young woman in question is the apple of the proprietor?s eye! We have to wonder what Head Pussy Panther will think of this news!

Barbie?s back it seems. She drove that crazy car of her?s right up into the Inn and popped out as if she was ready for a flood of paparazzi. She is more than a little nuts. We hear that Taneth was super excited to see her and made Lucky Lawyer Lucien promise to take her to get a doll the next day? so public appearance score for Barbie! That girl Riley who got into the big brawl in the Inn the night before was certainly a fan. We hear that she totally stopped paying attention to the rather hot man who seemed into her to send her love to Barbie. That actually scores her points in our book!

The dueling fanatics that weren?t in the Arena watching the Talon of Redwin Tournament go down were hanging out in the Annex to watch the last of the second round of Madness duels shake out. Harris and his former flame FLAWLESS Koy were seen tossing back drinks and looking a little too chummy. It seemed that Koy was juuuuust about to open up to Harris about her troubles when her husband, the Gov MAN-tastic Matt, came wandering over to complain about his dueling troubles. SERIOUSLY, Matt??? That?s the most pressing matter you have right now??? Have you not noticed that your wife seems incredibly depressed these days??? OMG! He may be nice to look at but he?s no rocket scientist, that?s for sure.

For some reason, Crazy Train Tara was head over heels about Porthos. We?re not really sure why. She was actually acting a bit shy around him. While in the middle of flirting with Kalamere, Crazy Train Tara saw Slutty Pirate Girl Teagan walk up to Porthos and kiss him and nearly blew a gasket. She was overheard telling Kalamere that you couldn?t just walk up to an important man like Porthos and kiss him. Well, there?s a lot about tact that needs to be explained to Teagan. Anyway, Kalamere seemed pretty amused about the whole thing. That man just has no sense of self-preservation AT ALL!

Our sources didn?t catch the entire thing but evidently later into the night Harris was seen fleeing into the Annex with some ninjas hot on his trail. Yeah, you read that right. Ninjas. Not angry fathers or ripped off customers or murderous husbands?. but ninjas. It evidently had something to do with his wife?s former ward, Samiyah, who the ninjas seemed to be after. Thanks to a blade being thrown his way from the crowd of onlookers, Harris managed to dispatch the attackers. We?re not all that terribly surprised that there are people actively trying to kill Harris. We?re more surprised that this doesn?t happen on more of a daily basis.

Save the Garden Gnomes Tuesday!

For crying out loud! Is there a classy bone in Darcy?s body??? Would she know classy if it walked up and popped her upside the head??? She was overheard Tuesday night in the Red Dragon Inn trying to get another jello wrestling event together. You know, some people work to find homes for orphans, some people fight evil monsters threatening to take over the city, some people try to stomp out poverty and Darcy tries to bring people together to drink copious amounts of alcohol and waste food by rolling around in it so that men can drool over her. Fantastic. And, of course, Dean was feeling the action. Ugh. To make matters worse she was actively promoting the event and trying to get women to sign up. AND IT WAS WORKING!!! We hear that even our adorable Amber started talking about wearing a bikini to wrestle around in some jello. Say it ain?t so!

It just seemed a night entirely based on drinking, debauchery, and dumb kids. Aaron rolled in trying to get people to vote for him as he campaigned on a platform of wet t-shirts, beer, and girl-on-girl action. Wonderful. We hear that Quinn eagerly agreed to support him. Big shock there. Maybe she and Dean are made for one another.

We hear that at least Susan was not feeling Aaron?s pitch for governor. She told him that wet clothes and politics don?t mix and that if he touches her he may not keep his hand. Awesome. That girl scores some major brownie points in our book!

It certainly doesn?t seem like this Kate would have anything in common with Fio? other than maybe that they have both banged Ali. Oh, come on. You know you think Kate has too! Anyway, it seems they?ve been getting along swimmingly. The pair were again seen chatting at the bar and then seem to be becoming fast friends. Since Kate seems way more normal than the people that Fio usually hangs out with, we?ve got to think that this is a good thing. Kate was overheard asking Fio when her due date is so we finally know when to expect the baby! Fio said late August or early September! A fall baby! Yay!

That mystery guy who we mentioned was seen with that Riley girl has a name and it?s evidently Daniel. The pair were seen chatting with Kendall (Yep, Kendall! Haven?t seen her around in forever!) and we hear that he?s opening an Indian restaurant here in RhyDin! Awesome! Give me some naan and kadai chicken and I?m one happy boy! We can?t wait until that place opens up. He seems on the surface to be a pretty decent catch. A man that can and is willing to cook definitely deserves a second look. If you ladies are interested you better get a move on. It sure looks to us like Riley is getting ready to lay claim on him?. if she hasn?t already!

Duci looked on in a mixture of horror and amusement as Crazy Train Tara roasted a gnome and then fed it to Sal?. in the middle of the Inn. That odd combination of horror and amusement seems to follow Crazy Train Tara wherever she goes. We understand that Darcy was actually seen carving the gnome like a turkey. OMG! GNOMES HAVE FEELINGS TOO!!! Some celebrity should take ?Save the Garden Gnomes!? on as their next big publicity stunt ? eh, we mean ?charity project?, of course.

Thorne was seen calling on Twilight Island Tuesday night. We hear that he was overheard trying to come up with a nickname for Esperwind. Ehhh? probably not a good idea. One of his friends should clue him in on Esper?s reputation. He?s not a nickname sort of guy. We do have to admit that we?re glad that Esper?s back but we?re waiting on pins and needles to see who he will lay into first! If Thorne?s not careful, it may very well be him! Our sources spotted him in a ring at some point with Archmage McPretty (we just had to steal the nickname Harris gave her) Sivanna! What an interesting match, no??? It seems she and that husband of her?s, Alec, are still doing well. Bummer! We still have hopes that someday she?ll realize that she?s desperately in love with Neo.
