Absolutely fantastic! With the polishing that will come naturally in the next couple weeks, you'll be a force to be reckoned with! Keep up the great work!

That so rocked; I loved the OOC bubbles making the commentary! :)

Sorry about the length this month. I would say that we'll try to keep it shorter in the future but we probably won't. We have too much fun to keep it under 10 minutes.

Some moments that were edited out will probably be posted in a couple weeks.

You know, I could just end all speculation and prevent future bloopers by saying, right here, how in the heck to say the detective's name... but who'd want to spoil the fun! XD Seriously, great video, and keep up the good work. =)

Do not...I repeat...do NOT! watch these at work...

...unless you want to have to try to explain to your coworkers why you're in your cubicle snickering like a fiend...

"Oh no! You did not! I'm Marc Franco, woman!" ROFLMAO

And the greatness just keeps on coming!

From the beginning with S'jira's name and the hint for Vasaris about Tara, Prof. Joylon's name, the grammar comment. I just love it.

Three snaps for Sianna!

Props for the "dramatic" reenactment too :)

Catalina

It's even better than the first video was. Loved to hear Marc sing opera and the 'dramatic' re-inactment!

It's kind of killing me that I'm at work and can't watch it yet but I can see everyone posting about how hilarious the new videos are!

"You've got two things sprouting out of your ass. They're called legs. Prance your way over and get it yourself."

::snickers::

Oh and the pronunciation is "ME-chee-ko"

Marc Franco

We round tabled the names the best we could but, man, was it difficult! You'll see that in the blooper/cut footage reel when I get that together.

If you want us to try (and I do say try because I've been attempting to correct the way Marc says "Alain" for two months now), feel free to e-mail me .wav file or a video. I try to search the name pronunciation websites but a lot of character names aren't in that. Even if your character hasn't been mentioned, throw me one so that I can keep it on file for when we find a way to slip him/her in!

Oh dear cats, that was GOOD!

The line at the end of part one is very reminiscent of a quote attributed to the Good Doctor. SMACKDOWN to Marc!

For future reference, her name is pronounced Mahr-AHn-yah Vahl-KOH-nan, and the short form of her name is AHn-ya. Marc had it spot on right last month.

If Intern PITA wants to have a chance with the Doc, he needs to pronounce her name correctly, for a start, and get the facts right about her glasses. She hasn't been wearing them for at least a month, now.

A stalker kind of fan for the Good Doctor? LOVE IT!

P.S. Marc? Where were your pink flip flops? If you're going to do the bare foot thing, at least use pink glitter nail polish!

Hilarious, Marco & Co! Good stuff!

For pronunciation of characters with Irish names use this site:
http://www.babynamesofireland.com/index.html they have sound files and a native speaker.

You'd be surprised at the difference in how a name sounds from country to country.

Marvelous, as always - I was cracking up.

Btw - I think you should mispronounce names as often as possible. We all do it, because, honestly, who can pronounce most of the names we see around here without an audio aid, a seeing eye dog and a lawyer on retainer to make sure the wrong sounds don't inadvertently merge and create a national incident?

Keep it REAL, man! Keep it real!

Simply put....Brilliant!

Grem

Date: 2009-04-10 00:05 EST
For the record, Grem's name is pronounced "Steve."*

*...Okay, not really.

Marc Franco

Thank you!

I'll do my best with the names but, at the end of the day, the words aren't coming out of my mouth. The guy who plays Marc Franco in those videos is my youngest brother. He really is a slightly toned down version of Marc Franco. If I stopped him every time he got a name wrong, this four hour project (two hours filming, two hours editing) would end up taking days.

Most of the funny stuff is all him and it changes with every take. He walks around singing "Fio" all the time now and actually refers to himself as "Marc Franco" at times (see the clip after the credits). I never know what we're going to get from take to take.

I plan on putting together some clips from takes that couldn't be used (and some behind the scenes stuff) in the next couple of weeks so you can enjoy the genius that is my brother Danny.

It was pretty darn funny. The random out bursts are great. I love when he tried to say "Alain" like 3 times in a row.

It's french, right? "A' laaan" (like Allan. but fancier? Agh-lawn) It's okay, I tried to figure that one out to forever until someone told me. He's still A-lane to me. :)

Either way, funny stuff! Kudos on the hilarity!

Marc Franco

Date: 2009-04-10 07:46 EST
Exactly! I will have to include the clip where we discuss the correct pronunciation of "Alain". I didn't know the camera was on at the time so the clip is mostly of the ground but it does show that I at least try to get him to say names correctly!

Shariane

I don't mind if a mispronunciation if it didn't sound like "Mish"

;-) ;-)

I just had to take a peek while I'm away - yes, I'm that addicted! It just gets better and BETTER! My family already thinks I'm weird with this whole FFRP stuff, I had to stifle my laughter big time!

Never any criticisms for my pink haired crush! Besides you've gotten Eless' name correct since the first go around!

Thanks to all of YOU for the work you put into making these!

Alain DeMuer

Y'know, I think Grem's on the right track, "Steve" would be pretty easy...

Honestly, given Alain's mixed background (English, French, and some sort of pidgin between the two), I figure he'll respond to 'ah-LANE,' 'ah-LAHN,' 'ah-LAHn,' or a pronunciation identical to the English name Allen. I've heard all these pronunciations from a variety of sources, and I imagine he's used to being called all of them, so he and I would probably say the same thing on the subject -- "Whatever you're comfortable with." =)

So, however you pronounce it, no worries. ...Though I really wanna see that blooper video now. xD

Kazzy Hart

Date: 2009-04-10 12:33 EST
Marc should go ahead and call everyone whatever name he wants - that's what Kazzy does.

And yes I'm also a fan of the videos - I love how hot and bothered Intern PITA is over Anya.

FioHelston

He walks around singing "Fio" all the time now and actually refers to himself as "Marc Franco" at times

::Swoony:: Well tell him that "Fio" plans to walk around the house now singing "Danny Boy" to whichever cat will listen to her! I'm becoming quite popular amongst the feline market segment, so it's sure to be an instant chart sensation!

Sid

Date: 2009-04-12 02:27 EST
I L.O.V.E. the videos!! And Sid, who has seen them at some local internet cafe in the College district, is even more secretly in love with Marc!! ::Snickers.::

Chryrie

Date: 2009-05-19 15:38 EST
Heehee! Love the way he mangled Chryrie's name. Nobody ever pronounces it right.

Just so everyone knows, it's pronounced Sh-RYE-ree

Keep up the good work!

Thanks to all of you for your hard work!

Aww, Kid Not-Doc Anya lost her stalker fan. Bummer! Intern PITA is so fickle!
I love all the mentions she got in the video though, and I'm already looking forward to May in review.+bouncy+

P.S. Sorry to disappoint you, Marc and Intern Beauty, but Kid Not-Doc Anya is still going strong with both of her men.
