Little Red Meets The Big Bad Wolf..

Ivy had been hanging around the house all day, not having seen Cole, she decided to head up to the main house to see if he was there. Bundled up in two hoodies, she ran up the side walk, almost busting her ass on some ice. Shivering, she took her hand out of her pocket and banged on the door, hoping someone was in there.

Gage had just come up from down in the basement, busting up with Joel, and possibly getting him back a bit for busting Cole's pretty face. Coming from the shower, towel wrapped around his waist, he stopped by the kitchen to grab an apple, biting into it with ease with his rather sharp pearly whites. The scent of Ivy well, he knew she was coming, not hard to miss the smell of a woman, that silky scent. Rounding the kitchen, he pulls the door open and leans to the side of it as green-blue eyes lower down to Ivy. "Hm?" Followed by a soft grunt. In Gage speak? "The fuck you want?"

Ivy jumped back when the not so jolly or green giant opened the door. " Whoa." She had heard of him, she had seen him from a distance, but she had never met him. Eyes going wide, she took her hands out of her pockets, shrugging some. " I want to hang out. Is Cole here?" She tried to peer around him, ducking her head between his side and the door, trying to see into the house, but he was huge. " Uhm... It's cold. Going to let me in?"

"Cole isn't here. Think he went out." Another grunt as a dark brow arches to Ivy while she tries to peer around him. The apple is brought to his lips again where a large tongue licks the juices that slipped down to the bottom. "Not stopping you, am I?" Chuckling and stepping aside. "Actually feels pretty nice out there. Must have thin skin." His voice rumbles from his lips which are then licked to get the rest of the juices from them. "Ivy. Hm? Heard about you." Still standing to the side and holding the door open.

She moved in as soon as she could squeeze past, she pressed up against him, just a bit and noted that he felt like a wall. Rushing into the house, she paused once safely inside. " No, no stopping me." She grinned and continued to glance around. " Man, I was hoping to hang out tonight." She bit her bottom lip and watched him a moment and then her brow perked up. " Heard about me? What've you heard?" Lord only knew, there were so many insane stories. She started to wriggle around to try and get her hoodies off, it was warm in the house, no doubt due to their being a new little baby living there. She got the hoodies up and stuck around her eyes and nose, and with arms raised she wiggled around more, trying to get out of it. Her t-shirt went up with her hoodies, although, she wasn't flashing him, just some of her belly showing. She tried to tug down her shirt while still getting her head out of the neck holes. "Ooof! "

Chuckle to when he felt her press against him. Softness against a rock so to speak. Didn't help that he isn't clothed, just a towel to go around his naked and large frame. Muscles were not something Gage lacked, in fact he was too ripped for his own liking. The brow continued to be lifted as Ivy is seeming to have troubles getting her clothes off. Hand pushes the door closed, making a softer bang than thought possible. He moves over closer to Ivy and reaches out, apple still in his mouth and held by his strong teeth, as he attempts to get her hoodie off her head. "Here, let me.. wait."

She stood still, arms in the air, feeling like an idiot. Her hair was poofed out of the top like a pineapple and her face was in there somewhere, the neck of the hoodie pressed her nose up, feeling like it was crushing it. " Oh ow. Okay. Mm hurry." She was a wee bit claustrophobic as well. Her finger tips wiggled while she waited. She knew wearing two hoodies was a bad idea. " You never said what you heard about me." Muffled out.

Large tug and the hoodie pops off. He holds it in his hand and looks down at Ivy. That apple still in his mouth, and making it difficult to actually speak properly. But he grabs a hold of it with his free hand and shakes his head. "Just that you are Ivy. Nothing more. Why? Horror stories going around? Do you know who I am?" The grin spreads on his lips, he doesn't mind showing his large and sharper than human teeth. In fact he is rather proud of them. "I'm starving.." Comes out in a grumble while those green-blues bore down at Ivy.

She blinked slowly as her eyes readjusted to the light, her hair was still sticking out full of static now. She tried to smooth it down with her hands and then tugged her shirt back down and regained her balance, trying to look cool, one hand going to her hip. " Horror stories. There are a few. I'm pretty dangerous you know?" Her eyebrows waggled at him and she bared her teeth at him with a growl, kind of mocking him, only she looked pretty much like a mouse trying to growl like a lion. " I know who you are." She nodded with a coy smirk and then turned away from him, walking around the room. " You're Gage. You're kind of the bouncer of the Skulls. Keep people in line." That was about all she knew, she had heard a few stories, but she wasn't going to tell him that. " So go get something to eat!" She waved him off, when he looked at her like that. " I'm too sweet, you wouldn't like the way I taste. " She stared back at him, again trying to imitate him with glares.

"Dangerous, are you now?" He doesn't look convinced, but for her sake, he takes a step back. "Well then, wouldn't want to get into any trouble, Miss Dangerous." Snort and chuckle follow it as he settles the hoodie over on the rack. Turning to look back at her, a rather serious face settles on his features. "Bouncer. I suppose you could say that. I keep everyone in line. Beat the shit out of assholes like the ones Cole was talking about at the Inn the other night. Which, I will leave them alone, since he asked me to." Moving closer to Ivy, for a tall man, his posture is excellent, making him seem even taller than his actual height. The green blues are no longer, in fact his eyes have taken on to a golden hue. "You are wrong. I think you would taste superb. Cole however would be upset if I ate you." Her glaring only makes him chuckle. "I will hunt soon." Truly it is rather dangerous for someone to be around Gage when he has not fed, and it has been weeks since the last. Gage does usually have excellent control, unless angered. "Ivy. Be careful of those looks, I may just think you are coming onto me and offer to take you to my bedroom, do ungodly things to your body." Eyes appraise her for the moment and then a throaty chuckle and rumble.

"Very dangerous." She leaned in towards him when she said it, trying to look extra tough. " Some people call me Poison... Poison Ivy." She pretended to look serious for a moment and then busted out laughing. " And I'm glad Cole has someone to take care of the assholes, lots of em at the Inn lately." She nodded to him and moved to sit down, noting where her hoodie was in case she needed to make a quick exit. " Superb? Me?" She shook her head. " Nah. Besides, people don't eat people! What are you a cannibal?!" She watched him, noting the color change of his eyes and she turned around, facing away from him while she sucked in a breath of air, a little chilled by the look he gave her. "U..un.. godly?" barely able to get out. " But! I haven't even done godly things yet! "Shrieked out as she jumped up and then fell back onto the couch on her knees to watch him over the back of the couch. " I wasn't coming on to you. Really. Honest. I'm not desperate!"

"Poison Ivy..." Whispers with a faint growl underneath. His eyes follow her every move and nostrils flare ever so slight. He is obviously smelling her scent and logging it in his memory, he will never forget her scent. "Which is why I don't go to the Inn. No need to add another asshole to the pack." Grin, teeth that have seemed to grow even sharper are pressed down into his bottom lip for a single second. "Eat people? Yes, I eat people, animals as well. Whatever I can capture. Usually anything stupid enough to get in my path as I am hunting. Or a local piece of shit who dares to mess with anyone I care for. Now those taste the best to me." Slight nod and his eyebrow ticks up yet again when she admits that she has yet to do these ungodly things he has not exactly explained. "Easy, Ivy. It was a joke." Giving her the most charming of smiles. "Settle for a kiss instead? A taste of you. How about that, not a horrible request, is it?"

" I wouldn't go to the Inn if it wasn't for Cole, I don't think I would anyway. Anywhere to be with friends though." She nodded and kept watching him, her eyes wide with interest and a tinge of fear. " I'm not in your hunting path am I? A stupid piece of shit?" Whimpered out as she leaned back on the couch. She saw him ease up some, so she reacted much the same as she relaxed back onto the couch. " Of course it was a joke! I knew that." She shrugged, rolling her eyes, but then he asked her for a kiss and she craned her neck, looking at him like he was insane. " Are you serious?" Her nostrils flared a bit, trying to hold back a giggle. "Why?" She tilted her head. " Did Cole tell you?!" She jumped up and bounced up and down. " Oh my goodness. I'm gonna kill him. He said he wouldn't tell anyone about my kisses! " She covered her mouth with her hand, maybe Cole had been bragging. " What did he say? Does he really think I'm a natural? Amazing?" She was totally ratting herself out. " Tell me why you want to kiss me and maybe. "

"You are on my territory.." Grumbled out as he keeps his golden eyes down at her. He has yet to move, as if the predator is almost ready to strike its prey. "Cole didn't tell me anything. No." When Ivy starts bouncing and going on, babbling as he would call it, he stands back up and moves a large hand through his unruly hair. "Fuck, you have as much energy as Cole does. Bouncing around here and all that." He is laughing though and looks back to Ivy with a rather silly grin, much unlike any he has shown before, that smile vanishes quickly however, replaced by a somber look. "Because the smell you give off. Mating. Looking to mate, are you Ivy? Come here." And it is no request this time. "Now."

"Territory." Whispered softly as she watched him. Her eyes went wide and her face flushed when he said how full of energy she was, it felt like an accusation and she wasn't sure how to take that. Was it good or bad? He laughed though, wait, he laughed. She smiled and laughed with him, nodding her head as she started to fidget, her hands toying with the hem of her t-shirt, balling it up in her fist. " You can smell that!?" Yelped and then her face turned a brighter shade of red. " I... mean.. Noooo. No I don't." She looked away from him, trying to deny him access to her eyes, because his were too entrancing for her to handle. Her head snapped back to him when he demanded she come to him. She stood there for a long moment, afraid to go to him, but afraid not to. She walked around the couch to him and then leaned back, so her butt was resting on the back of the couch, her hands gripping it tightly, so tight her knuckles were turning white. " Yes?" She wouldn't look at him.

"I can smell that, yes." Came out as a hiss which soon turned into a faint growl. He moves closer, his movements fluid despite the bulk of his frame. Once to her, he grins and leans down, large hand moving to take a hold of her face. For such large and rough hands, his touch is gentle and soft. "Look at me, Ivy." Breathed out, his breath surprisngly would be sweet in smell, like peppermint, but his scent would hold a musk and possibly even a slight hint of canine, mixed with fresh soap. "Come on, look."

Her face deepened when he agreed that he could smell her lust, her bottom lip trembled, she was humiliated, could he smell her desperation too? She gasped softly when his hand when to take hold of her face. By instinct, her hands reached up to wrap around his forearm, though, she didn't pull away. She closed her eyes and turned her head towards him and then with the seconds request, she opened her eyes, looking at him. She knew he wasn't going to hurt her, she knew that, he wouldn't for a few reasons, one of them being Cole. So why was she afraid. Taking a deep breath, she tried to calm herself and find her backbone again. " Yes Gage?"

Ivy's breath on his face, that face quickly hardens and his jaw becomes tight, teeth gritting. The hand that is holding her face begins to shake slightly and his breathing picks up. Golden eyes stay on her face and he shudders as he moves his face closer to hers. Lips part only slightly, meaning to take her bottom lip between them.

Her hands tightened around his forearm as he started to shake. Her eyes widened as he moved closer, was he afraid of her? She had no clue. Maybe she smelled bad to him? She would have sniffed herself but he was there, right there, his lips were so close. She whimpered softly, it felt surreal, was this happening. She closed her eyes briefly, waiting for it.

Lips close in and teeth graze along her bottom lip, the tiniest of nicks there, the small droplet of blood settles on his tongue and he quickly moves his mouth to engulf hers. A strong and passionate, longing.. kiss. But his body begins to shudder, chest heaving with it. The kiss is broken that quickly and he moves from her. Soft growls and grunts, his back turned to her. "I should go hunt.. " Comes out more harsh than he had meant. Stronger shade of golden eyes turn to glare at her, his hands literally shaking violently. "I starved myself for too long. I wouldn't want to harm you.." His once velvet voice now gruff and deeper in tone.

Her hands were trembling around his arm and then finally let go, falling to her sides as he bit her lip, her whimper was silenced by his kiss, and what a kiss it was. She would have wrapped her arms around him and continued to kiss him like that for hours, had he not pulled away so suddenly, leaving her dazed and confused. She gasped when it ended. Her lips looked slightly swollen and bright red from their brief encounter with him. " You won't. You wouldn't." Her hand brushed against his. She was just getting to know him, she didn't want him to leave. She literally felt like the room was spinning and she leaned back against the couch for support as her fingers brushed across her lips. " Now? " Not believing he was really leaving.

The brush of her hand on his is met with a gentle touch from him as well. However with his hands shaking as they were, he quickly pulls them away and turns his golden glance away from her and towards the door. "Until I have fed.. yes. I could lose control of myself if I stay.. your scent is driving my senses insane. There is no telling what I would do to you. You should stay away from me, Ivy." His jaw sets even tighter and he growls softly out. The towel is pulled from his waist and dropped to the floor. "Dangerous is a concept you must learn quickly when dealing with someone that is not.. what they seem." Comes a softer whisper but still holds a rough sensation. And as if to go against his own words, he does turn quickly to her, moving so fast that if someone were to blink they would miss his movement. Both shaking hands grab her face and he moves in to taste of her lips once more before pulling away and growling loudly, more at himself before rushing to the door and out.

Ivy couldn't help but smirk to herself, she was driving someone insane? In a good way? Her eyes went even wider when his towel fell and she gawked, she couldn't help it. There was a squeal of delight that came from her before her gaze snapped back up to his face, listening to what he said. She kissed him back, leaning into him for the briefest moment that it was and then he was gone and she struggled to keep her balance once again. " Told you I was dangerous." Whispered as he fled the room as she smiled to herself and then ran for the hook where her hoodies were, she struggled to pull them on as she ran out of the front door, she had to find Cole.

The Big Bad Wolf Has Little Red For Dinner

Gage is leaning next to the large window, glancing out, watching waves crash against the rocks. His hair surprisingly tame tonight, his attire nothing short of impeccable. He had told Ivy that it wasn't fancy, however he is wearing a rather expensive suit, black, dark blue tie that is meant to give a gleam to his green-blue eyes, and yes, they are green-blue.. currently. The privately owned club and restaurant, his, empty save for staff and soon the arrival of Ivy. Those green-blues look down to his watch, should be close to that time, he had sent the car a good hour ago. Pushing away from the wall, he moves over to what will be their table, already set for them, wine chilling in a bucket to the side. He settles into a comfortable lean, back on the chair, waiting. Jaw clenched tight, must have control tonight.

Ivy was of course wearing the red dress and shoes that she had bought. She was primped to the T. Her skin had a soft shimmer to it, her makeup simple, yet elegant, and her hair fell straight down her back with very soft waves at the end. Her jewelry was tasteful, just earrings and her bracelet and a small red clutch purse. No bra, and hardly any panties, as they didn't really go with the dress, just a tiny g string with a thin clear waist band. The car ride seemed to take forever. When the car pulled up to the club she was escorted in and her long black pea coat was taken before she could even get through the door, leaving her in just that dress. She stood in the entry way looking around surprised, that club was beautiful, as well as the surroundings. Her mouth formed a little "o" in surprise of the place he had chosen.

The moment the door opened, or rather her scent wafted to his nose.. he is up from the chair and moving towards said door. A clench teeth smile greets her. "That will be all for now.." Low rumbling grunt and growl towards the 'help'. Who nods quickly and moves away from the pair. Gage's green-blues caress along Ivy's form, the flashing of golden is hard to miss and he chuckles softly. "You look beautiful.." Hand leaves his side to move out, close to Ivy, obviously wanting to take her own hand. "Our table is over here.."

She couldn't help but bit her lip when she saw him. Her cheeks flushed and she looked down, her eyelashes pressing against her high cheekbones as her head tilted down and away a moment, letting his eyes take her in. Her hand reached for his when she saw it move towards her and she looked up to him with a small nod. " Thank you, you, look..." She just nodded and gave him a big smile. " Well you look really great." Her cheeks flushed again and she dipped her head, her hair falling over her shoulder, hiding her face briefly before she looked back up towards where he was bringing her. " Are you sure this isn't all too much? I mean, it's beautiful, but, for me?" Her nose wrinkled up in disbelief. " It's really incredible Gage. "

Long fingers wrap around her small hand in his, grinning as she looks down and even to the flush. Deep intake of breath, she is intoxicating to him and he has to blow out that breath slowly. "Thank you." To her compliment of him. Walking her gently towards the main dining hall and to their table. He turns and grins at her, though it's a strained smile. "I think it is the least I can do for keeping you waiting so long." Her small hand is lifted to his mouth, lips press to the back of it, there could be even a warm and wet sensation of the tip of his tongue, tasting her. "Shall we?" Her hand is let go as both of his grab the back of her chair and ease it out. "I hope you are hungry. I haven't yet ordered. Anything you can think of will be made, I will make sure of it."

"Part of me thinks you enjoyed making me wait." Whispered softly as she continued to look around and then she was sitting down, letting him help her scoot the chair forward. Her purse was set to the side and she crossed her legs, one shoe already dangling off of her toes. Reaching behind her, she scooped up her hair and lifted it, putting it off her shoulders. " I am hungry, starving in fact. " Smiling she looked around for a menu. " Nothing special for me, I can order off a menu. " She looked around again. " Do they have menus here?" Whispered softly.

Pushing her chair in once she is comfortably sitting, he chuckles and leans down enough to place a kiss on the top of her head, and yes, even another deep inhale in. "Starving are you? And I did enjoy making you wait for me. Make you that more wanting.." Standing back up, he walks around the table, unbuttoning the lower buttons of his jacket to sit down with ease. "No menu, no. It is whatever you like." His hand lifts, in a slight waving manner. And before they could possibly blink, there is a waiter standing next to them and smiling. "Steak, bloody.. nothing else. For the lady.." Green-blues land on Ivy.

The gentle kiss to the top of her head surprised her, and had her blushing again. Her thoughts were momentarily halted as she enjoyed the warming sensation creeping over her skin. Before she opened her eyes, he was sitting down and a waiter was standing nearby. " I. Uhm." She waved her hand, trying to will the words to come out. "Steak sounds amazing. I'll have a New York strip, pittsburg style, fifteen seconds on each side, just until the juices are clear please. A bottle of A-1, and a loaded baked potato." She paused a moment, looking at Gage wondering if it was too much, he had only ordered a steak after all. " Oh and some rolls, with that honey butter?" She nodded. "Agh." One finger held up as she thought. " No.. no that's good. " She sucked in her bottom lip. "Wait. No, never mind that's all. Thank you!" The thanks sing songed out as she giggled, looking back to Gage. "Is that okay? "

Soft chuckle as Ivy goes about ordering. As if he would discriminate against a woman with a healthy appetite. The waiter writes it all down, of course he knew what Gage would of ordered, however he is jotting down Ivy's, and quickly at that. "It is just fine. Be prepared in case she will want more." Grumbled out softly to the waiter. Without Gage even having to ask, the waiter is filling their glasses with a freshly opened bottle of wine. "That will be all for now." Gentle yet demanding grumble to the waiter who nods and rushes off. His eyes settle back on Ivy, hand moving along the table in her direction, palm up. "Now, what do you want to know about me?" Having that fleeting feeling that she had some questions for him.

Laughing softly, she nodded to him. " It's true, I may want more. I have a big appetite." Smirking, she stared down at the table and then her hand reached for the wine glass, her fingers gently brushing over the delicate stem and then the glass was raised as she took a long sup, peeking over the rim at him. Her other hand crept across the table, her finger tracing over his open palm and up and down his fingers, her eyes watching his facial expressions the whole time. " Why do you grunt so much. Are you in pain?" It was the first thing that came to her.

"Nothing at all wrong with wanting more from this world.." Grinning widely, knowing that she is now use to his larger than average and sharp teeth, not bothering to use it as a deterrent for her any longer, but a genuine grin. Fingers flex when her own touch his palm. "I am in a great deal of pain, yes." Tilting his head and that grin can't possibly get any larger, but it does, voice is in jesting manner to match that grin. "No, I'm not in pain. It is what I have grown accustom to. Or rather, it's another side of me attempting to get out. Take your pick." Those fingers now are quick to close on her hand and hold it tight. Green-blues flash golden yet again as he is pulling her hand closer and lifting it to his face, where he trails pressing of lips along her inner wrist and takes a deep breath. "Ivy." Came a husky whisper. "You look and smell unbelievable tonight."

He had a way of making her breath catch in her throat, just the way he looked at her stopped her breathing, but when he said he was in pain, she gasped, feeling like it was her fault in someway, but then he explained, well, explained in his own Gage way. She watched him closely as he brought her hand to his face, her fingers splayed out and she touched him where she could. Leaving her wine glass behind, her other hands went across the table to touch the other side of his face and jaw, fingers running up and down. Her mouth went tight though when he mentioned how unbelievable she smelled, she kind of had planned that part out. "Thank you." She smiled again and looked down. " I have a confession to make." She sucked in her bottom lip. "Well, I hope its not too much to say, but, I was thinking of you earlier and well it kind of excited me and... " She pulled her hands back as she started blushing, knowing he wouldn't let her stop talking now. Fumbling with her hands in front of her, she peeked up at him. " Well, I think that's what you're smelling. Lust, was that what you called it?" Her face fully flushed at her confession. She looked down quickly, almost bashful, ashamed? Maybe.

His face didn't turn away from her fingers, in fact for once.. his face moved into those fingers, wanting that simple of touches, pleasurable to be touched again. Face even tilting in closer and rubbing his cheek against those soft and gentle fingers. "Welcome." Voice turning to a deep rumble while his eyes are closed, very much enjoying this contact with her, but they open to her words. "Confession?" As she explains it to him, he grins and rumble of a chuckle now escapes his lips, that are still close and pressed near that inner wrist. But her hands are pulled from him and he settles back in his chair. Jaw taken to being tight yet again, teeth clenched. "Are you expecting more from this date than a simple dinner, Ivy?" Dark brow lifting, curious glance staying on her, even as she looked down. "Because if that is the case, we can skip the dinner and go right to it." Jest is not in his voice at this time.

She bit her lip, feeling guilty for moving her hands away from him when he so much seemed to be enjoying them, but she was afraid he'd find her confession revolting. Her hands slowly inched back across the table, wanting to feel the warmth of his skin again, she was after all hardly dressed. She watched as his jaw got tight and his teeth clenched. " Expecting?" She shook her head and shrugged. " I suppose anything could happen. No expectation, just have a good time and let things happen as they do. " Her hand gripped his tightly, shaking a bit. " I'd be lying if I said that didn't sound good, but I'd like more to remember than just what I imagine will be the most amazing romp ever. " What was she saying?! " Dinner first would be nice." She smirked and finally looked back up at him. "Ask me something Gage. What do you want to know? Anything. "

Hands met with hers, much wanting the touch of flesh on flesh again. He would not deny her that. Fingers curl to press into hers. "Anything can happen. Too true." Chuckling as he tilts his head, appraising her from across the table. "You think that after the amazing romp.." Using her words of course. "I would not give you more to think of? I am hardly like I use to be. Believe that. This is just the beginning." The whisper husky yet he turns his gaze from her to his warming glass of wine. "Let's see. Anything?" Flicker of golden gaze back up at her. "I want to know everything. Everything. But we do have plenty of time to go over this. How about a simple question, what is your favorite color?" With Gage, a simple question was never just simple, in fact it always held something else in it. Perhaps wanting to know for future reference of how he can spoil the person that he is asking.

"I'm not sure what you used to be like, but I'm enjoying getting to know the Gage you are now. I'm certain there are many things I could think over after the romping is through." She wasn't used to be so candid on this subject, not with anyone but Cole at least. Her fingers flexed back and forth in his hands, tickling against his palms. "Everything, there is a lot to know. I'm glad to know that we have plenty of time though, very glad." Nodding she smiled. " Well, I have two favorite colors. The color of lush green grass, just after a rain, the way it kind of glows and looks so inviting, you just want to go roll around in it." She giggled. " Or maybe that's just me. And I like, obviously." She pointed to her dress. " Red, deep red, like garnets, blood red." She nodded. " How did I do?" Smirking, she sat up straight.

"Plenty of time, yes." Nodding of his head, a gentle one. Eyes have yet to leave her face. He has noticed that their food has yet to come and looks past her towards the doors, but soon to her again. "Lush green grass. Yes, nothing like that. I enjoy it as well." Keeping his voice low and for her alone. His own fingers keeping a touch of hers. Jaw setting a tad tighter but no grunting as of yet, just wait for it. "Blood red.." Words breathed out between the clenched teeth that have yet to relax since they sat down. "You did just fine. I will remember all of that." Hands pull back and he moves from his chair, to standing. "Excuse me, let me find out what is happening in the kitchen." With that, he moves to her side and kneels low, which is considerable for his height to bring lips close to her ear. "Don't... move..." Breathed against the lobe before teeth graze it, after he is walking off towards the kitchen and bursting through the doors.

She was pleased to hear that he too like green grass, but he did that whole breath stopping thing again to her when he clenched his teeth. Maybe blood wasn't a good word to use around him, although she loved the reaction. She wondered what his intentions were in 'remembering', she wouldn't count on it, most guys could barely remember the girls name they were with. Her nose wrinkled as she watched him move, who did he think he was? Just going to the kitchen? She hadn't gotten that he owned the place yet. She was going to tell him that maybe he shouldn't but there he was kneeling beside her and whispering. Every hair, well what would have been hair if she hadn't got it all waxed off, rose on her body. The warming sensation washed over her again and she fought back a shudder of excitement. Her back stayed rigidly straight as she nodded and clasped her hands in her lap, the shoe still dangling from the tip of her toe didn't even sway. She did however move her eyes to peer at him from the corners, watching as he went behind the doors.

Continued.

After a few moments, Gage is walking slowly back out, behind him is the waiter, carrying their food. Gage grumbling under his breath of how long it had taken, but he could understand.. they always want to make sure things are utterly perfect when the 'Boss' is having dinner. An apologetic smile meets down with Ivy as he claims his seat again. "There we are." As the waiter settles their plates in front of them. "That is all for now, thank you." Muttered under his breath. The waiter nods quickly and rushes back to the kitchen, wasting no time. Gage looks down at the bloody steak, which is smothered in bloody juices, however the steak may seem rather strange, not of.. an animal, well surely not beef. Paying no mind to that or thinking Ivy would notice, his eyes glance back up at Ivy. "Shall we?"

"I can't believe they just let you back there." Blurted out to him with a hint of wonderment in her eyes. Picking up her knife and fork, she started to cut all of the steak into little bites, not taking one bite until it was all cut. Her potatoes and the items making it loaded were smashed together and the rolls covered in honey butter were torn apart and scattered on her plate to soak in the steak juices. Lastly, she poured the bottle of A-1, smothering the bread and then just a bit on her steak. She was a girl who knew how she liked it. Smiling up at him, she nodded. " I guess we shall. You know, it really hadn't been that long." Twirling her fork before grabbing up a piece of steak. " You like things prompt, don't you?"

"I would think they would. I own the place, I thought I had told you.." Must of slipped his mind. Golden hues watch her and her fixing of her plate. Always the one to remember just how someone likes their food, and better bet he will remember. "It was longer than needed. But they like to make sure things are perfect. I expect nothing less. I do like things prompt." It is not till a bit of food is in her mouth that Gage reaches for his own fork and knife, believe it or not he can be civilized. Cutting a large piece of meat, it is brought to his lips and eaten, a low grumble of a growl as he does chew, and repeats with a few more large pieces.

She popped in a few more bites of steak, chewing quickly, it was cooked to perfection. "I didn't realize you owned this place." She glanced around again, pointing around with her fork and then she noticed what bad manners that was and quickly set it back on her plate. " It's really beautiful. " She nodded to him again, just another to be in awe of. " You must be a great business man to be so young and able to own a place so swanky and well managed. " She took another bite and then a few pieces of the rolls were popped in her mouth. " Would you consider yourself a perfectionist then, or just demanding? " Her eyebrow perked up as she finished chewing.

"That I do." Nodding slightly, his steak vanished within moments. He spares her licking his plate, instead he takes to dabbing a long finger through the blood and then lifting that to his lips and licking said finger. Talented tongue, that story about Gage? Very true. "Thank you. Though, to be honest, I happen to hire good people that run it for me, when I am not here. I have others I must tend to as well. Bit of a traveler. Not wanting to stay in one place for long, but that I already told you." Smiling at her, his growling has yet to stop, just now an undertone in his voice.

Question avoided. She noted that, wondering if it irked him she asked. For the moment she let it go while eating more, not wanting the steak to get cold. She sopped up the juices on her plate with the bread, barely touching her potatoes, she hadn't expected the cut of meat to be so big. She had avoid licking her plate clean as well, it was so delicious. Taking a drink of her wine, she picked at the bread, taking small bites while watching him. " You're very privileged then. " Nodding to him. " Must be some kind of charmed life to be able to travel and do as you wish. Very exciting I imagine. But lonely at times?" Her eyebrow perked up, she only how she felt when she was away from friends and family for long periods of time.

The question was not avoided, in fact he figured she would of already come to her own conclusion to it. But the look on her face spoke otherwise and he does feel the need to answer it properly. "Both." Muttered with a grin as he lifts his own glass of wine, inhaling the aroma before sipping it. "Charmed life?" That makes golden eyes widen just a small amount. "No, not charmed. I work hard for what I do have and I expect everything I get in return. Nothing but the best. But no, in fact I am hardly ever alone. I usually have people around me at all times. Though, they are never truly with me. In that aspect, I suppose you can say I get lonely."

"I suppose you do deserve what you ask for then." She nodded, as she sucked on her finger, licking it clean, although she tried to be somewhat dainty about it. Wiping her hands on her napkin, she went back to sipping her wine, staring over the edge at him, a small smile on her lips as she listened to him. " Wonder what happens when someone tells you no." She smirked and leaned back, setting her glass down as she crossed her arms, it almost sounded and looked like a challenge, but she said nothing else about it. " I understand what you mean, about being surrounded by people but alone. I honestly do." There was a soft sigh from her lips. " Well perhaps one day you can find someone who will be able to travel with you and truly, be with you." She looked down at her lap and then back up at him. "Would be a shame to never be able to share your experiences with someone else, that's half the pleasure in discovering new things I think, is seeing how it affects someone else when they experience it too for the first time. "

"Nobody tells me no." Stated with a smile, low grumble followed. His glass is set down and he is watching very closely at her body language. The way her hair falls around her shoulders, even the way her hands move, fingers curl.. taking in a deep breath, he leans back in the chair and clears his throat. Cue to the waiter to come out and stand before them, taking Gage's empty plate then looking to Ivy. "Are you done?" Had he done it on purpose? Called the waiter to keep from further conversation of a possible sore spot she brought up? He shows no sign of it, instead smiles.

"I can see why. I'm sure it's a frightening thing to behold. You, being told no." She smirked as her plate was lifted away. "Thank you. yes, I'm finished." She wrapped her hands around her arms, rubbing a bit briskly. " Suddenly got a little chilled." Perhaps his stare had something to do with it, she wasn't sure. Sucking in her bottom lip, she glanced around again, trying to think of what else to say, he was a man of few words. Simplicity, he seemed to enjoy it, for as much as Cole called him a lush, he didn't seem overly complicated. That was a tad of a relief, no puzzles. Although, he was still mysterious to her. One of her hands went back out, tracing over the edge of the wine glass as she looked back up to him. "How are you feeling?" She hadn't noticed him grunt for a little while. Maybe her scent wasn't as bothersome as it was initially.

"That will be all then." Waving his hand dismissively to the waiter, who again, rushes off towards the kitchen and through the doors. His eyes have stayed on Ivy, the golden hue only darkening, gaining in vibrancy. "Feeling? I feel wonderful." Lips parting in a smile, his grunt this time less notable. However is she were to look at his fisted hands, they tell of another story, they are shaking. Promptly they are brought down from eye level. "I believe it is time to take you home. My driver will take you, of course. It was a pleasure to have you for dinner, Ivy." The tone dropped, voice became like gravel. "Yes." Movement is swift as he stands from his chair and walks around the table to pull her chair out for her. "It has been a pleasure."

She watched as the waiter made himself disappear and then she smiled to him as he said he felt wonderful, but her smile quickly faded as he informed her it was time to go. Her mouth gaped open in shock, had she said something wrong? He must have known she'd say no, apparently a word he did not like, because he made it clear she was going before she could disagree. She stood up abruptly, snatching her purse. Not even dessert! Wait to go Ivy, you made it through half a date, she thought. "It was nice, thank you." Her voice held a curtness to it. "I'll see you around, I suppose." Mummbled out to him, as she looked around, anywhere but at him. Her fingers were clutching her purse so tightly they were white, she looked like she was going to tear right through the delicate fabric. She held her head up high, nonetheless, try to look unbothered as she smoothed out the short hem of her dress with one hand.

Curtness in her voice is very noticed by Gage and he even grins at it. Her posture and body language changed so quickly, he hardly had the time to fully enjoy it. "See me around? Well.. Perhaps." Stepping to the side as Ivy stood up. It also gave him time to recover from the moment before, when he was becoming overwhelmed by her, yes, Gage overwhelmed by someone. What an amazing feat and yet Ivy seems to have no clue of it. "Would you rather I didn't call you now? Or take you to my villa in Spain?" Dark brow lifts slightly while he turns and walks to the door. "I suppose things happen for a reason. For what it is worth, I did have a very lovely meal with you. Be a shame to not do it again, but if that is how you feel." Hands still balled in tight fists, his breathing had already become somewhat erratic, hopefully not enough that would alert Ivy. To the door he moves and stands.

She looked at him like he was insane, pure shock in her eyes as they widened and her mouth still gaped at him. Her own fists were balling up at her sides, she didn't know if she wanted to smack him or kiss him. She huffed, and then sucked in her bottom lip as she tried not to pout right there in front of him. Her face was turning red, even the tips of her ears were red. " I don't understand." Breathed out softly. She looked at him, shaking her head. " Of course I want you to call me, but.." She waved her hand at the dinner table and then back towards the door. "Did I do something wrong?" Her eyebrows knit together as she nearly shrieked out the last question, she was struggling to keep her voice low.

"You did everything right." He whispered with a grin and folded his arms over a massive chest, hiding further those trembling fists. "In all the preparation I made for this night to be perfect, I forgot a very important detail, if not the most important. And sadly that is why you must go." The gold hue of his eyes turning to a muddy brown, only to return to the honey gold. "I apologize." An apology from Gage is few and far between, coming from a man that never believes he is ever in the wrong. "Ivy. Do you want to know what I really want?" Voice staying as thick gravel, mixed with a hint of growl, low and untamed. "Take you home. I want to take you home with me. But I can't promise you or even trust myself that I would be able to control the other side of me. The last thing I want to do is harm you in any way. Trust me tonight. Trust that I am doing what is best."

She breathed out a deep sigh of relief when he said she did everything right. Her bottom lip started to tremble as he spoke. She didn't want to go, but she also didn't want to provoke him further. She noticed the change in his eyes and she nodded to him, trying to relax herself some, she was to quick to doubt him and that was unfair. "It's okay. Really." She nodded. " I'm glad you're trying to watch out for me." She gave him a small smile, a sad one, but a smile still. When he told her what he wanted, that dopey bigger grin returned as she leaned against the door. She almost wished he hadn't told her that because now it was making the leaving, much harder. " I know if I told you that I trust you not to hurt me, you'd think I'm crazier than you already do. But it's truth. " She nodded and stood back up straight. " But, I'll do as you ask, and I'll go. I'd hate to see what happens if I told you no." Smirking she dipped her head to him. "Thank you for a wonderful evening, Gage. " Walking away was going to be so hard, her legs didn't want to move, but she did turn to go.

Sad smile from her is returned by Gage, maybe not a sad smile, but a somber expression on his face. He is doing what is best, and she would have to truly trust him on that. As she spoke, he did laugh, even if it is was half-hearted. He obviously is hating to see her leave as well, even his body seems to be leaning closer towards her as she is turning to walk out the door. "Have a wonderful night, Ivy.." Muttered out softly, his growling now more than just a hint, it is there with conviction. Hand moves out to grab her arm, pulling her back, even making her small body crash against his. He leans in and his own lips crash against hers, harder than he had meant, but there it is. The parting of lips, the quick invading of her mouth with his own. Other hand is delicate when touching around her waist, pressing her tiny body even closer.

She yelped when he grabbed her and pulled her back. Crashing against him, she whimpered, not out of pain but a wanting deep inside of her. That hot feeling creeping back into her body and she instinctively kissed him back, an arm reaching up to snake up his chest, fingers brushing against his neck. Her leg rose, rubbing against his thigh, she would have wrapped it around him, had he not been so much taller. Her other hand hand reached beneath his suit jacket and was balled up at his side, clenching his shirt material. She moaned loudly, really not wanting to go now. Stupid girl, should have ran when he told you. It took everything she had in her, but she broke the kiss and pulled away. Her mouth looked full and slightly swollen from the kiss and her eyes were heavy lidded and lustful. She held her trembling hands up, clasping them together and holding them in front of her mouth as she looked up at him. "I don't want to trust you, but I think it's the smart thing to do. And I don't want you thinking me daft, so I should go. .... " She lowered her hands, clutching the short skirt of her dress. " Right?" Whispered softly and so unsure.

He does lean as much as he can down when he felt her leg lift against his thigh, a curse may of escaped his mouth into hers for himself being so tall, but he is what he is. Fingers on her back do press her harder to him, her warmth welcomed against his own. The kiss broken, he leans away from her, his jaw clenched much like it had before, if not more. Eyes turbulent as they look at her. "Go.." Growled out while he attempted to steady his own being. Having to look away from her, growls and deep breaths expelled from his parted lips that still taste of that kiss. "Hurry." Body visibly shaking and it is taking all that he has in him to keep even this amount of control over himself.

She whimpered and stood still for a moment, her knees locked. Stupid body not listening. Finally, she gained control back over herself and nodded as she burst through the door, running out to the car, which the driver had opened the door for her. Climbing in, he quickly shut it and was just as quick to make sure he was back in the car and driving off. Leaning her head back against the seat, she took in a deep breath, her knees still shaking. " Well I'll be damned.... " A little smirk crept across her lips as she raised up and turned to peer out of the back window.

Little Red's Christmas Surprise

Ivy ran from her house to Gage's, bundled up in her knee length wool pea coat, black knee high boots, tight jeans tucked into them, and then a thin black sweater over a t-shirt. Getting to the door, she banged on it, she was freezing.

Of course Gage knew she was coming before she was there, didn't he always? Dressed in just his black slacks, nothing else, he was about to head up and take a shower, but Ivy's appearance does hinder that. Walking slowly to the door, make her suffer some out there? Of course. He grins when he does open the door and leans to the side. Much like the first time they met, he grunts. "Yes?"

She could feel his body heat as soon as he opened the door and it took all her restraint not to push up against him. " Oh my goodness, it's freezing out there, let me in, please." She whimpered and held up a bottle of wine. " I brought wine. " Little smile as she worked on trying to squeeze through the small gap between him and the door frame.

"Wine? Hm." Taking the bottle and moving from the doorway to let her in. He glances down at the bottle while tossing it between fingers. "Merry Christmas. I would watch out, mistletoe is riddled through out the main house. You just happen to be under some now as well. Oliver got a bit crazy with it." Grinning while he leans to the side. Gage? He is so much better today. He has fed and in much more control, granted that Ivy doesn't push him over the edge, but then this is Ivy, she tends to do just that. "Your present is out in the garage. Being worked on right now. Favorite color was a blood red." Dark brow arches. "It is after all a nice color for a car. I can see you behind a Viper, or would you rather have a Mustang?" Lift of his shoulders. "Type of car you prefer?"

"Wine, yeah." She smiled as she started to take off her coat, her boots, her scarf, and her sweater, laying them all by the door, it was warm in the house, warm around Gage. Tugging down her t-shirt, she looked up and smiled at the mistletoe. " What a shame, guess that means you'll have to kiss me." Giggling, she listened to him a moment and then looked at him like he was insane. " What are you talking about Gage?" She shook her head. " I do love blood red, yes." She clearly didn't believe him. " You got me something? Really?" She bit her lip. " I didn't know what to get you." Mumbled out. "Wait, wait. What car do I prefer?" Her jaw just dropped as she watched him closer, waiting for him to laugh or give her a sign he was joking. " I... I... don't know?"

"A kiss?" With her under the mistletoe, Gage is not one to break traditions, after all, yes blame that. He moves closer, the bottle of wine is set on a table so that both large hands can surround her beautiful face. His face leans in and he places a delicate kiss to her lips, as delicate Gage can be. "I suppose you will have your choosing of either. I did get you both. Different one for a different day?" A grin slides on his lips while he leans back, hands dropping back to his sides. Faint growl soon follows, touching her perhaps may not of been the best of ideas. It awoke him, yet again, the flash of golden hues, but he blinks that way. "You would like either car? I hope so. I paid a great deal for them and would hate it if you didn't like them."

She pressed herself up against him when he moved to kiss her, her hands resting on his sides, gently gripping him, her fingernails biting into his flesh, but then he pulled back and she stood there in a daze as per usual while he spoke. " So you're not joking?" She looked flabberghasted. " You bought me not one, but two ridiculously expensive cars?" She busted out laughing. " Wow, you're ... " She held up her hands, looking for words. " I don't know." She shook her head at him and then grabbed his hand. " Well show me! Are they automatic?" Her nose crinkled up in fear.

"I did.. don't think you are too special, I bought all my brothers a car as well. You just happened to get two." Giving her hand a squeeze once it is in his. He nods and starts walking down the hall with her, towards the door to the garage. "They are, is that a problem?" Dark brow arching just slightly as he turns to look at her.

"Oh no. Of course not, I wouldn't think I was special." She shook her head back and forth. " Don't know why I got two, but that certainly doesn't make me special." He must be totally loaded, because she couldn't afford one of these cars, let alone several of them. She tried to shake the stunned look off her face, she squeezed his hand back. " No, no, that's great, I don't know how to drive a stick shift. Automatic is great. " She tried to hold back the shrieking excitement in her voice.

"Good." Nodding while he gets to the door and pushing it open. "Ladies first." Motioning for her to walk through the door, though his fingers keep a good hold of her hand, never mind the squeezing, firm, as if he needs that contact. "They are automatics. Both red, I hope the color is to your liking as well. I did my best to remember. And a grassy green car? I didn't go that route."

She went through the door, but her arm swung back, her hand not letting go of his. " Holy sh*t!" She slapped a hand over her mouth. " No. No. The color is perfect!" She pointed with her free hand. " Those are mine? Both for me?" Throwing herself against him, she leaned in, wrapping her arm around his waist. " Thank you!" Squealed into his chest, she was practically bouncing in his arms.

Laughing, he is laughing. He can't seem to help himself. Her cussing and pretty much bouncing in his arms is enough to get that chuckle. "Yes, they are both yours. I am very pleased you like them." Massive arms sliding around her small waist and holding her closer, if not tugging and crushing her to him. His face leans in to take a breath of her hair, a grunt, loud and plain, with that he pulls away from her and walks around the two cars. Nostrils flaring when wild, still green blue eyes glance back at her. "They have everything. Fully loaded." Grumbled out.

She enjoyed the brief contact with him and couldn't help but smile for an entirely different reason now. She bounced after him, hands clasped together and she stood across from him on the opposite side of one of the cars. " They are beautiful, perfect shade of red." Nodding, she looking down inside. " This is so much Gage. Thank you really." She nibbled her lip. " I didn't expect anything. " Her fingers were tracing over the curves of the car now.

"You are welcome." And if she noticed, well when she got close, Gage took steps away. Grumbling even more. What was it with this woman, why could she do this to him? He keeps stepping away, jaw clenched and teeth grinding together. "Glad you like them." Nearly spat out, as if it was suppose to be a insult, but inside the voice held a sincerity. "Maybe you should take one for a drive?" Before you drive me fucking crazy.. The rest was uttered under breath, not meant for her to hear.

She was all smiles and she looked up at him, giving him a small pout, she knew what she was doing to him, not on purpose, but she was starting to recognize the signs. " The roads are pretty icy, I don't think it's a good idea tonight." She worked on pulling her hair back into a ponytail, leaving her bangs sweeping across her forehead and cheek, it was kind of cute, but she found it a little annoying how her ears stuck out some when her hair was pulled back. " Gage, maybe it will get easier if you spend more time with me? I mean, maybe you can get used to me or build up a tolerance or something. " She leaned against one of the cars, tilting her head to the side as she watched him. " I'm not ready to say goodnight. Please believe me when I say I trust you. Just trust yourself okay?" She let out a soft sigh, her eyes wide and innocent as she studied him.

"Damn weather." Another grumble, he takes a lean against the opposite car, green blues watching her closely, eating her alive with them. "You don't just grow a tolerance for someone. It won't happen. I took all the precautions this time, that is what is pissing me off. Maybe it should of been human, rather than a deer. I will try that next time. See if it makes any difference." Came out cool and nonchalant, as if the idea of killing a human being was like a trip to the store. "I will say when the night ends, not you." Grumbling growl and a snap of his teeth at her. He is the boss, damn well get use to it.

"Well maybe you should channel all that anger you have into controlling yourself. " Mumbled softly as she looked down, her hands gripping the bottom of her t-shirt like she always did when nervous. "Do what you have to do. " She nodded to him in regards to his choice of food. Her head snapped up suddenly, her eyes wide. " And I don't get a choice as to when I get to see and don't? What about what I want? Hm?" Her hands were on her hips. "It's awfully selfish of you to think your fears overshadow my needs, my wants. I want to be here with you and don't give a damn about all the stupid, mights and maybes and coulds. I'm sorry. I know you think I'm an idiot and careless, but I just... I'm damned then and I couldn't be happier." Her hands were flailing by then and she looked beyond passionate about what she was saying. " Just don't push me away, please. " Whispered softly to him. She was almost afraid of standing up to him, she had a feeling that didn't happen, ever. Taking a deep breath, she tried to swallow the lump her throat.

She is very lucky he didn't walk up to her and close her mouth for her. Instead he stands there, dark brow lifted while she rants on. His expression doesn't change much from when he was talking about killing someone. But once she is done, it goes into a more amused expression. "What you want? Selfish? Yes, I am selfish. Yes, I only care about my own needs and wants. This is exactly what I was trying to fucking tell you!" His voice does raise, but it is minuscule to how loud Gage can really be. "You listen here, you want to get to know me? You do it on my terms. No ifs, no maybes, none of that shit. Do you understand me?" He is up away from the car, even backing away towards the door, all the while those eyes are now golden hue, his lips curled in a snarl. The side speaking out at her like this could very possibly be that side he had asked her to not provoke. "You will not be harmed and you damn well better listen to me when I tell you that you have to go!" This time the voice is no yell, no, it turned into a growling roar. "I refuse to hurt you!"

Her fists were clenched into balls at her sides and her eyes felt hot, but she was not going to cry in front of him. He was as scared as she was, she knew that, it had to be the reason he was acting like this. " I don't believe you Gage." She was speaking calmly. " I don't believe that you only care about yourself, we both know that's not true." She nodded and walked towards him, putting on her brave face, choking back the nervousness from the roaring. " Okay. Your terms." She nodded. " I'm willing to try that. " She stuffed her hands in her pockets, trying not to fidget. " I didn't mean to upset you, I just, I want you to know that I'm not as fragile as you think I am and I'm here because I am honestly interested in you . I'm serious, I don't want you to push me away. I really want to try to be more with you. " Looking down, she sucked in her bottom lip, trying to think of what to say, she probably had said far too much already. " Can we please go inside? Sit and talk? I promise I'll behave and when you say it's time to go, I'll go. I'll even sit across the room! Please?"

Snorting breath, she didn't believe him. The so called lycan that lurks just under the surface, she dared to say that she didn't believe she was fragile. The woman had to understand that he could break her in half at will. That he could tear into her flesh and eat her insides, did she not get it? His teeth grit harder when she came closer. "On my terms. Fine." Grumbled while he pulls the door open and prowls inside. He keeps his walk slow, for her to walk close behind, but not close enough for contact of flesh. "Not entirely sure what there is to talk about further tonight, Ivy. The moment I say go, you better not play a damn trick." His anger getting the best of him, was he angry at her or him? More than likely both. He wants her to understand just how much danger she could be in if he did lose control. Not in the main house, not with all his brothers, nephews, niece.. He couldn't do that, not again. As he moves into the living room, he settles on the couch and growls rumble.

She sat across the room, in the corner on the floor, her knees tucking up to her chest, her chin resting on them. " I'm sorry." She whimpered softly. " I don't regret meeting you though or having feelings for you. I'm just sorry that I seem so irritating to your... darker side. I don't mean to rile it all up. And I didn't mean to anger you, I just get a little passionate sometimes." Biting her lip, she watched him cautiously. " Everything on your terms, I promise, no tricks or anything, I'll leave exactly when you say I have to. I just wish I could do something for you, to help you. Maybe I could rub something on my skin. Is there anything you don't like the smell of? It is just my smell isn't it?" She even sounded like she was pouting the whole time to spoke, she was obviously desperate to make things okay. " I know you are dangerous, I believe that. But I don't believe you're all selfish and only care about you, because you obviously are worried about hurting me. I respect you, I wouldn't purposely provoke you. Again, I'm sorry. "

Listening. Gage does sit there and listen, even if his eyes are on anything but her for the time. His nostrils still flaring while she speaks, even the scent from her is drifting all the way to him and that causes another few choice words to be muttered out. "There is nothing you can do. Just stay away when I say. Keep your distance when I say. And listen to me when I say to do something. As long as you do that, things should be fine." Which truly is still no guarantee. He snorts out another breath and golden hues land on her. Narrowing. She does more than provoke his darker side, she sings to it, her body, her hair, her eyes, her smell, all sing to it, calling it forward in a sweet lullaby of wanting to tear into her flesh. To either ravage her or devour her, he can't figure out which is more appealing.

She nodded quickly to everything he said. " I promise, whatever you say I'll do." She smirked, trying to be funny with her next sentence. " I'm yours Master." Laughing softly, she peered up at him, watching him closely still, trying to familiarize herself with the signs of his being provoked. " I should have shut my mouth when your eyes changed, I know better. That wasn't very smart of me." Nibbling her lip, she brought her hand up to her mouth, starting to bite the edge of her thumb then. "Gage?" She stopped chewing momentarily. " Are we... anything? I mean..." She waved her hand slowly. "Do you want me to be with you? Like... yours? Only?" Her eyebrows were perked up, she mostly just wanted to know what to tell people when they asked, like her mother who was insisting she find a man. What to tell her about him.

The word 'Master' causes yet another scowl at her, though it creeps slowly into a sharp toothed grin. "You think this is a game?" Without a blink, even before lid could possibly close over an eye, he was off the couch, in front of her. Massive hands grabbing up and under her shoulders, dragging her up and face level, sneering and growling. "You belong to me. Yes.." The hissing between gritted teeth, one hand left from holding her up, all it took was one to keep her up as such, the now free hand reaches around her waist. Another quick movement, not another second passed and Ivy is pushed up against the wall. Gage's body pressing her there, his mouth opening, snarling and growling as it goes to her neck. "Not a fucking game." Muttered near her ear, before a small graze of that ear. It was simple to let go and letting Ivy slide back down the wall to her feet. "You belong to me." Growled out again as he moves from the living room and starts walking down the hall.

She didn't even have time to tell him she didn't think it was a game before he was there, lifting her up. He took her breath away again. She knew if she was smart she was supposed to be scared, but that was not one of the emotions she felt. She belonged to someone, not just anyone, but him. Her head was spinning, between the scent of him, his cool, peppermint breath blowing against her face and neck, and the sound of his voice, she was just lost in him. She grunted when he pressed her against the wall, her eyes wide as he spoke, holding her there, she so badly wanted to grind her body against his or kiss him, but she knew, despite being completely moronic, that, that was a bad idea. She closed her eyes and her body shuddered in response to his breath on her neck and grazing of her ear, but not a shudder of fear, something else entirely. She didn't remember being put down, but when she opened her eyes he was gone and the sound of his voice lingered in her ears. She slid down the wall and closed her eyes again, the room was spinning. Panting softly, she wrapped her arms around herself, trying to hold herself together. She hadn't heard him tell her to leave, so she stayed right there, not moving.

The Big Bad Wolf Takes Little Red for a Dip

Of all the places for Gage to be today, and even though he is suppose to be out working, instead he is laying by the indoor pool. Black swim trunks on, the sun shining through the glass roof, down on his already tanned skin. Droplets of glistening water from where he had just climbed out of the warmed water. Sunglasses even on his face, and a phone in his hand. The phone that links back to only one, Ivy. A message sent.. 'At the pool, feel like taking a dip?', sent to her phone. He grins and settles the phone back down on the small table beside his chair. Today would be better, he spent a whole week taking care of his problem, there is no way she can possibly cause the monster inside to come out. Not today.

She was home, ready and waiting as she had been for the past few days, hair and make up done, dressed and ready to go. When his phone went off she screamed and dove for it on the couch and read the message and then jumped up and down as she ran to the bedroom to grab her swimsuit. It was freezing outside, but she figured he obviously was at the indoor pool. Stripping out of her clothes, she put on her black bikini, and then pulled her jeans and shirt back on over it. Running to the bathroom, she worked to get the makeup off her eyes and then swapped for waterproof. Taking a deep breath, she grabbed her phone and put on her shoes and then headed to the house, texting him on her way. 'I'll be right over.' was sent to him and she went through the back door of the main house, circling through until she found the pool room. She peaked through the door and took a deep breath before pushing it open, standing in the door just watching for the moment.

The soft buzz of his phone on the table. He didn't have to look to know what it said, of course she would be coming, he could smell it. Deep intake of breath, feeling her presence getting closer, her scent growing stronger. Another deep intake as he sits up and reaches up to slide the glasses from his face, dropping them to the table by his phone. Green blue eyes turn to the doorway, a genuine smile on his lips, that smile that only appears for her. "Took you long enough." Even though it had only been a short while. Pushing his lean body up off the chair, he sends a hand across his bare chest and stomach, wiping remaining droplets from there. Closer he got to her, the deeper his breaths became until he stopped, dead still. "Damn.." Came growled out between gritted teeth. He had taken all the precautions this time and still, his body reacted to her the same way. His head sharply turns to the right, gaze landing far on the right corner of the room. "How have you been?" Muttered out while he turns his now golden eyes back on her form.

Her bottom lip trembled while she watched him, he was impossible not to watch, she couldn't tear her eyes away from him, like he could so easily do with her. She tried not to stare, not to let her mouth gape open, but she couldn't help it. A soft string of unintelligible words came out and then she ran a hand through her hair, trying to say something that actually made sense. " I'm alright." She sighed softly, sucking in her bottom lip. Obviously, he was not going to be okay, which meant she wasn't going to be okay. Looking down to her feet, she started to tug on her t-shirt hem as she usually did when she was nervous. " Do you want me to go?"

"Good." Came out softly than before, no hint of a growl in it. He had to fight it, had to control that part of him, if it took everything in him, he would. Fingers close up, both hands, making tight fists then flexing long strong fingers back out. "No, you don't need to go. I asked you here, I want you here." Grinding of his sharp teeth, but that abruptly stops. "Let's take a swim." There was a reason he asked her to the pool, water, water would help to drown out her scent, or so he would hope. It wasn't exactly her scent of flesh that spoke to the monster inside, it was her blood, the sound of it even sings gently into his ears. Another side glance to the pool and a smile when he returns his eyes on her. "It's warm." Step back and a turn, he moves to the stairs and descends them until he is in the shallow part of the pool. "Come on." A hand is lifted from the water and held out for her.

Her chest heaved out and the breath she had been holding escaped her lips loudly when he said he didn't want her to leave, she hadn't even realized she'd stopped breathing. Nodding to him, she held up her finger, telling him just a minute and walked to the chairs, setting her phone down and then she took off her shoes, her t-shirt, with her back to him, and then her jeans, laying her clothes over the chair, she looked back over her shoulder at him and then turned around, her hands and arms working to cover her body some. Maybe she shouldn't have chosen the bikini. Resting her hands around her stomach, clasping her sides, she walked towards the pool, sticking a toe in. "You still want me in there with you?"

The held hand drops back to the water as golden eyes continue to watch her get undressed. The wafting scent hitting his nostrils, a tighter grinding of teeth, his expression as if he has just smelled something that is more than edible. Before harsh words could escape his lips, he gave a blow out of breath, trying to keep a strained smile on them instead. "Get in the pool." Feet moving in the water, his movements closer to where her toe is resting in the water. Large hands are quick, too quick for any mortal, to grab her legs and grasp tight, pulling her down and into the water, against his own body. It wasn't thought out clearly, that touch, it was not thought of the closeness of their bodies until she was up against him. Sudden contact of her warm skin on his heated own, that causes a few growls to come forth. "Do not move." Uttered out through his clenched jaw. "Whatever you do, do not move right now."

She had started to move to get into the water but then he was grabbing her and pulling her in, before she could even scream or playfully fight him off, she was pressed up against his body. Her face was pressed against his upper chest and her hands clasped his thighs tightly as he spoke. A shudder ran through her as he started to growl. Her ear was right against his chest and the growling seemed so much louder than normal. She wasn't sure why she wasn't moving. The thought that he was the danger didn't cross her mind, instead she thought perhaps there was someone else there with them or danger lurking somewhere else. She held her breath again and struggled not to move. Closing her eyes, she quietly and softly breathed him in, tried to focus on his scent, on the comfort of his arms on her, the warmth, the purring of the grumbling in his chest, which was becoming a lullaby to her, to try and stay calm.

Fingers tightly grasp her flesh, around her waist and even her rear. His breathing hardly steady, chest rising and falling quite quickly. In his head, so many thoughts, so many needs and wants, the urge to push her back away from him, but the want of her near him is stronger. He held tight, held possibly too tight. Strong fingers eventually ease on her flesh, climbing their way up her back, one hand firmly wrapping around the back of her neck, pulling to move her head away from his chest. The look down at her, eyes wild, but a smile on those lips, no sneer, no smirk, but a smile. Those lips part, sharp teeth easily show themselves. "Ivy. I thought about you while we were apart." Voice a grumbling low tone, but sincerity held within. The other large hand is lifted to press long fingers against her warm cheek.

Her breathing became erratic as he held her, as she felt his fingers pressing into her skin. More bruises, she was sure of it, and that caused a small smile, though she tried hard not to actually smile, because that would be moving. She whimpered softly as his fingers moved back up her body and then a cry of surprise when he pulled her head back to look at him. She thought she was going to hyperventilate. Blinking up at him, with stars in her eyes, she closed them tightly for a moment and then looked at him again. He was smiling and he had said something. Her hands were still clutching his outer thighs just as hard, her nails probably biting into him just slightly. Her eyes closed again when his hand brushed along her cheek, her bottom lip quivering in anticipation. " You did?" She didn't mean to sound so surprised.

Rumble of a soft laugh. "Yes, I did. Hard for you to believe?" Typical Gage starting to come out there, perhaps the situation wasn't as dire as he expected. Strong fingers curl around her chin and jaw, lifting her face up more so there can be more eye contact. If he kept looking into her eyes, eyes that could save him from doing anything to harm her. He lost himself into the eyes for a long period of time, only her gentle breaths will him back out. "I did. Yes." Hand holding the back of her neck begins to lose it's tight grasp, instead it moves back down her, a caress of a gentle sort, something that nobody would expect of Gage. "Did you think about me?"

His laugh startled her and her eyes opened back up to catch his smile. Her smile. "A little hard to believe, yes." And then the stare down began, she couldn't move her eyes from his, it was impossible. They bore down into her and she tried so hard to avert her gaze, but couldn't. There was something he was trying to see, she wasn't sure what, but she felt the need to try and hide. Maybe it was emotions she didn't want him to see. She didn't want him to know how he affected her, especially this past week. Her hands let go of his legs, finally, and slowly, she slid them up his sides, very cautious movements. " I thought about you a lot. " She admitted with the sound of defeat in her voice. " Too much, I think." And then she gasped, a hand covering her mouth. " I didn't mean to say that last part out loud." Her skin flushed bright red as she looked down, no down wasn't good because it was still all him she saw. Away, she looked away. Quickly.

A knit of brows as he saw something in those eyes, a hint of something, perhaps. But she was moving, hands felt against his own body. Hissing sound came from between teeth that suddenly grit together. "You do not listen to me. That is what is going to get you killed." Growled fiercely, more than he had meant, but he did tell her to not move, he meant at all. Even if he seemed relaxed, it was only because she had been holding still, and now that was thrown away, his body began to shake, growling breaths let out. Her words were not lost on him, he heard, even through the loud grinding of teeth, he heard her. As she looked away, his expression turned from anger to outrage. "How many times have I told you to listen to me?" It was sudden, he is no longer in the water, he is across the room, standing there, staring at her in the pool. Golden eyes glaring, teeth gritting. "Why do you never listen to me!"

Her expression went from embarrassment to shock. Her mouth gaping open. She had done it again, she had pushed him away. She stood perfectly still in the water as she watched him move quickly out of the water and across the room. " I didn't mean to! Gage." She was near hysterical. " I'm sorry, I thought it was okay now, I didn't realize. You..were.. I..." Staring up at him, she was shaking now, she didn't want it to be over. " I won't do it again. I'll be good. I promise. " She was pouting, her hands clutched tightly around her body, angry with herself. Looking down into the water, she refused to look at him right now, she was ashamed and embarrassed. How could she overlook his simple request?

It took a few moments, for him to stand there, taking in quick short breaths, gaining back some sort of control. "Don't. Don't do that." He meant the sad look on her face, his own face took on a similar expression. How hard this must be for her, for her to be with this thing that he is, to not be able to be close without him yelling and moving away. Deeper breath pulled in. "I thought things would be different. I thought I had done enough. Ivy.." Moving from the edge of the pool, he climbs his way back down the stairs and gets close to her, as close as he can before his body begins to tense again. Once there, he stops and gives her a another strained smile, if she happened to look back at him again. "What did you think about when you thought of me?"

She sucked in her bottom lip when he told her to stop pouting, she tried to gain control of herself, but her eyes still looked wide and innocent. She tried her best to regain control over herself and put her brave face back on. " You did. It was me." She didn't even nod, she didn't move at all. " You did everything right. I'm the one with the hearing problem." Her fists were clenching in the water, her finger nails digging into her palms as she watched him move closer and then stop. She was looking at his face now, she wasn't afraid of him, just of herself and her inability to listen to simple instructions. " I don't want you to laugh at me." Mumbled softly in response to his question. Looking back down she felt almost ashamed of the things she had thought about. There were a lot of naughty things, things she couldn't tell him about, but then there were the crazy thoughts, the happy thoughts, all kinds of things he'd probably laugh at her for. " I thought about how I missed you. All of the reasons you didn't call. If you really meant what you said that night. Why me of all people. Why you chose me. " She looked back up at him then, trying to look confident. " I thought about your smile and the way I missed how warm you are and how much I just wanted to hold your hand."

Still standing there, he listens to her words carefully and even nods once she is done speaking. "I was out, that is what I was doing. Taking care of the problem, so I thought. I see I was somewhat wrong. But it is not nearly has difficult as before." Admitting while he reaches a hand out on the surface of the water, palm up. "I will hold your hand, Ivy. There isn't anything I wouldn't do for you, as long as it would not cause you harm. And yes, sometimes you need to listen better to me. When I say do not move, there is a reason.. I asked you to trust me. I will ask you again. Trust me. This is to keep you safe. That is the most important of all things, Ivy."

" I didn't worry you were off with anyone else or anything like that. I just, I thought you didn't want to see me.... because I don't listen and can't seem to shut up." Her nose wrinkled up at the confession, why she was telling him all of this, she had no idea. Watching as his hand stretched out to her, she reached up for him, putting her hand into his palm. She didn't move anything else, even though she so badly wanted to be wrapped in his arms again. " I do trust you. I honestly do. But I don't trust myself. I'm clumsy and foolish. I provoke you. I really am trying, it's just a lot of adjustments. You know? I have to go against every instinct and want that I have to just make myself stand here and not do something very, very stupid. " Smirking, just slightly, she bit her lip again, trying not to think about those stupid ideas in her head.

His strong fingers curl around her small hand in his. "Off with someone else?" Rumble of a chuckle. "No, there is no other someone, Ivy. I learned my lessons a long time ago about those matters. I am not who I use to be. I may still be a liar, and arrogant, perfectionist, but I am not about to start going off and sleeping with any girl I cross paths with." Gentle squeeze of her hand, thumb caressing her skin. "You are doing fine now. We stay like this for a few moments, and perhaps I will make it longer than ten minutes in a room with you." Grinning while he takes a small step forward. "Do you dance?"

Her smile grew bigger as he spoke and then she finally laughed. " You're not those things. You're just. Particular. " Giggling, she pressed her lips together, flicking her tongue over her lip ring. " I didn't mean to say you were off screwing around. I just maybe you had found someone who suits you better. Someone who people don't cringe to look at after seeing you." She rolled her eyes, trying to turn the subject. " I am behaving and I intend to keep doing so and no, no I do not dance. I can't dance. Are you disappointed?"

"I am those things, Ivy. Even if you do not see it.. it is there. You happen to be blind by lust for me." Larger grin when he keeps her hand held tight. "I never cared much for what other people have thought. And I do not plan on doing so, any time soon." Grumble soft growl out with that breath. "Don't dance? I think you will.." He pulls her small body to his, hand kept held, his other hand moving down around her waist and pressing her to him. Slow movements, he makes, as he glides her along the water with him. "Dancing is very easy in water, if you haven't noticed."

"I am not blinded by lust!" She wanted to smack him, how dare he call her out. "You just don't see yourself very clearly because you haven't seen you through my eyes." She had a little sassy smirk now. There was a soft shriek when she was pulled against him. Her face went back to his chest, her cheek pressing against him, she had to fight the urge to let her lips press against the solid wall of steel that was Gage's chest. She didn't wrap her arm around him, but just let him hold her as he pleased and guide her. " Less chances of me falling down I guess. " And then she stepped on his toe. " I'm dangerous." She giggled softly.

"Yelling out like that, hardly helps your case." Whispered out with a gravely chuckle. He keeps moving around the water, keeping her pressed tight and even going as far as to slide his hand around her waist and press her backwards for a gentle dip. Back up, he shakes his head, grumbling lowly. "I think it is about that time, Ivy." His hand simply drops hers, and he moves away, to the stairs, climbing them gracefully, even if his body would not of seemed to hold that type of manner. At the top of the stairs, he turns and folds his massive arms over his bare chest. "Come with me to my room."
