Hina sealed her fate. The next time he left they parted ways. It was the only thing the two could do at this point. He figured it was best, so did she. Janan was to get the best care expected and she told him he could see her whenever he wished to. As the ship left with her daughter she wept, tears falling freely, but never the less it was what was best. A good life was to be given to such a wonderful child.
The pain was something she could live with. It was easy to get over as well. One blink and she knew that Marek would always be around if she needed him, but with his absences, she had managed all on her own. If anything, Hina learned valued lessons through the man and it was time for her to move on her own.
As the day continued on Hina would make her way from the Inn, where she had a cup of tea and some alone time to think, before going to see her son. This time they would go do whatever he liked to do as usual. Except there was the absence of Janan. He actually seemed happier, more comfortable.
Hina was no longer tainted with the smell of Marek, yet even then Hina still had much to learn. Thus far her son had been her best teacher. She loved her little man. Even when he proved to her that he was not so much as little as she was. Her son had become such a formidable opponent to all the men that Hina had in her life. He was the only one to come out on top.
When her visit with her son had finished Hina had many options as to where to go, but none ever seemed to be more appealing than the other. It felt like hours of walking, one foot after the other until she stopped before the gates of her favorite place. She really should have visited more often.
Fingers coiled around the gates, but nothing was said or done. She would wait. Hina was sure that the boys would see her soon enough. All she had to do was wait.
