Bundled up in a zip up hoodie, a purple scarf and a pair of jeans, V made her way down the road trying to read the chicken scratch on the paper. "Left at the light post, follow that down to hollow road and then take a right to the entrance." Nodding, she looked up and pulled her trucker cap down and pushed her sunglasses back up her nose and pushed off on her skateboard again.

Spotting a few houses, she got excited that she was finally there. Popping her skate board up, she grabbed it and walked the rest of the way down the street. She had been a roadie for so many bands, but she was pretty excited about meeting not one, but two of her favorite bands. Totally stepping out on a ledge and taking a risk she had decided to track them down and try to get herself a gig here in Rhy'din, she had vacationed here as a kid with her parents, but to live here all of the time was her dream and to make it happen, she had to be able to make a living.

She'd heard the guys from Destroy the Previous and Regretful Descension were pretty fricking awesome, so she hoped no one would chase her off the property, like some big muscle bound monkey of a body guard or some acid tripped groupie.

Swinging her back pack off of her shoulder, she opened it and stuffed her skateboard down inside and then slung it back over her shoulder and walked up the sidewalk to the door. Taking in a deep breath she glanced around and then knocked on the door, after a minute of hearing a few people yell to grab the door, it pulled open and she stood there gawking like teenie bopper who had just spotted J.T at the mall.
"Ugh." She took off her sunglasses and looked back up. " Hey."

Ed spent the majority of the morning and day trying to convince his brother, Rian, that they had practicing to do. His little brother seemed to only want to stay shacked up in the guest house with Joey all the time. Which gets many snickers and waggling of brows from Ed to Joey whenever he does see her. So, instead he decided to head up to the main house and ask some of the other guys to play bass for rehearsal, which is always an easy feat to accomplish. As long as it wasn't Jam, who would likely pull pranks the whole time during rehearsal and not taking it seriously, but that was Jam for you.

After being smacked a few times out of the kitchen, that new cook is really getting on Ed's nerves. Not funny the fifteenth time of being hit on the head with a wooden spoon by a big woman named Helga, who also yells at you in German. Jaden must of hired her to keep the guys in line when they head into the kitchen, that or to stop them from dating the staff. The thought of a date with Helga makes Ed snort a few times as he rubs his head and walks back into the living room. Hopefully she never leaves the kitchen, at least the rest of the house is safe. Aside from some of the 'haunted' rooms. The toilet on the third floor that burps at you, and the strange little creature that lived in the attic and claimed he could shave your head and you would never know till it was too late, other than that, safe safe.

"Oi! I just need someone to play bass. Dude.. come on." Trying to give his best puppy dog face towards Corey, who happens to be sitting on the couch and reading a magazine.

"After dinner." As Corey looks up at, Eddy and shakes his head to the pouting face. "I will meet you down there later. For now, get your scrawny butt to the door and open it."

Ed nods and heads to the door. "After dinner." Reaching out he grabs the doorknob and yanks the door open rather fast and looks at the girl standing there who seems to be gawking. Or so to him it seems that way. Tilting his head he gives her a once over and confusion is written all over his face. "Help you?"

" Hey, Uhm, Ed."

Crap, she sounded like a fangirl already.

" I mean, it's nice to meet the talented lead vocalist of Destroy the Previous. I'm V."

She stuck her hand out and then yanked it back quickly to remove her sunglasses and hat, shaking out her hair once it was off.

"Listen, I don't mean to sound like a crazed fan or something, I'm actually here for business reasons. I was wondering if the band's decision maker or manager was here?"

Sliding her backpack off her shoulder, she pulled out her skateboard and then a folder and pulled out a resume of sorts, handing it to him.

" I'm a roadie, tech, merch girl, you name it. I'm new to town and heard you guys were staying here in Rhy'din. I was hoping that maybe you guys were looking for someone to help you in the studio or on the road?"

She gave him one of her million dollar smiles and even attempted to sway or woo him by the batting of her eyelashes.

"I've got great references and have been doing this for a few years now, but my knowledge and skill with instruments goes back to like childhood, so I promise you'd be in good hands. If you'll just take a look at the resume I gave you and maybe you could give me a call, or pass it along to the manager or whatever that would just be stellar, really. "

Rocking back and forth on her heels she stuffed her skateboard back into her pack and nodded.

" Well, it's pretty bitch'nly cold out here, so in an effort not freeze off your jewels and ruin that great voice of yours, I guess I'll leave you to think about that huge jumbled amount of information I gave you. "

It's not an uncommon thing for someone to already know his name, so he really didn't seem too surprised that she knew it. Though he does smile and laughs softly when her hand is put towards him, but when she yanked it back, he more or less just looked at her expectantly.

"Oh." Came from his pierced lips and he nods, sending that black messy hair in front of his yellowish eyes for a moment, before a hand could lift and push it back. "Nice to meet you too, V." He keeps his lean against the frame as she speaks and gives him the reasons as to why she happened to show up at his doorstep.

"Travis handles some of the business aspect to the band, but he is back visiting some family and considered pretty much his vacation. So when he isn't around, I usually handle most of it." He says as he takes the piece of paper she hands him, his eyes glance down and skim over it. Slight raise of his eyebrows to it and those eyes then land back on her, it all looked legit so far. Maybe she wasn't some crazy little fangirl after all. However that wasn't exactly the first impression he had of her. But he will keep his first impression to himself for now.

The smile from her, well that gets his attention and makes him quirk up a brow. Bit of laughter afterward and he nods, keeping the piece of paper clutched in his left hand.

"Well, I don't see why I couldn't give you a try. See how you meld with the band, not many girls have been willing to work with us, I'll be bluntly honest with you about that. They seem to think we are too loud and obnoxious, if you can believe that!" Which he says rather loudly to just add to the remark and get a point across.

"I am rather demanding as well, I hate it when people are late. You would have to dress a certain way and I don't take no for an answer." Course now he is looking at her intently but soon the straight face turns into a smile and he laughs again. "Just messing with you."

Pushing from his lean, he moves from the door and turns around in the doorway, away from her and gives that resume another look over then motions to her with his head to come in. "Wanting to come in or you got places to go? And don't worry about my family jewels they are taken care of." Which makes him smirk. Bit odd that a girl showing up at the door is worried about him freezing off his jewels, but he takes it as he got it and even was amused.

Turning back to her as he is more in the hallway. "You know, I was going to head to the studio. How about we head there instead? You can take a look at it, some of the equipment and I can see if I can't get the other guys to come by and you can meet them too. Though I think Rian is busy." Yellowish eyes roll and he grabs his jacket off the hook next to the door. "You can tell me more about some of the things you do on the way. What do you say?" Though he wasn't exactly giving her a choice as he pushes through the door and closes it behind him, just as a few bits of yells start coming from the door, unintelligible hopefully, but he did hear someone call out 'SCORE!'. His jacket pulled on and he starts to hop off the steps from the porch. "Just a small walk down this way. And ignore them." Offhandedly towards the house.

Ignoring the "score" comment, she shook her head and walked with him.

?Yeah, sure, I?d love to go check your equipment.?

She smirked at him and winked and hopped down the stairs of the porch and then pulled out her skateboard, coasting along while he walked.

?I mean, the band?s equipment.?

Putting her hat and sunglasses back on, she then crouched low, zigzagging across the sidewalk and then totally hit a rock and nearly lost it, so she stood back up and kicked her board up into her hand, deciding to just walk instead for now.

?You know, life on the road, living like a rock star, it?s just something I love. I don?t really crave the spotlight or anything like that, but I love to just travel and meet awesome people and heck if I get to mess with instruments while I?m at it, even better. Believe me, you guys cannot behave any worse then SplitSnot or Inflamed Clowned Opossum. I swear those guys were freaking pigs.?

Shaking her head she laughed.

? But good guys and I had a blast, so guess it doesn?t really matter. I don?t mean to name drop or anything, it?s just, I?ve been a lot of places and met a lot of people; not much surprises me anymore. And just so you know, even if you were demanding, I could go with it, so please don?t be afraid to let me know if you guys have certain demands. I?m quick and flexible.?

There was another quirk of her eyebrow and a smirk.

? When it comes to my work that is. I?m used to taking commands and having to run all kinds of crazy errands and stuff at the last minute. And I tell you, if it?s not a roadie you need, then I can sell, sell, sell.?

Yeah, she was defiantly a salesman, she hadn?t shut up!

? This one time, at band camp? just kidding, seriously, anyway, this one time when I was working for Lamb of Hesus, they made me wear a lamb costume while trying to do tech work, I tripped over a guitar cord mid set and totally took a stage dive, that was the craziest crowd surfing ever.?

Laughing at herself she looked back at him, biting her lip.

? Sorry, sometimes when I?m really excited, I talk a lot, just tell me to shut up. ?

Tightening her scarf around her neck and tucking it into her hoodie, she shivered a bit and then rubbed her hands briskly over her cheeks.

?I?d love to meet some of the other guys if you can get them to come down, I mean, I can show you guys how quick I can tune the guitars and put up a drum set, whatever you want. I really, really, want this job.?

Quirking a brow at herself she laughed again.

?That was so lame, but I?m trying to be sincere and if that means baring my dorky soul, then so be it. ?

Freezing hands were stuck into her hoodie pocket and she looked at him again.

? It?s really cold.?

Walking down the steps, he turns and watches as she pulls her board out and moves beside him. Shake of his head to the comment though, and the smirk from her is met with a brow arch from him. "Yeah, band equipment."

He stops the ripple affect of laughing when V almost takes a dive for it. His hands go into his jacket pockets and he doesn't skip a beat of walking down the long sidewalk out of the large gates that surround the "little village" as Jaden liked to call it. "Oh and don't get too close to those trees." He points to the side, the trees along the gate itself. "They tend to smack you if you get right up on them. They have issues. I think it was from being abused as little seedlings. I don't know, trees with issues." He snorts and rolls his eyes, as if it was the most common thing to tell someone and that she should know what he means.

"Spotlight is something I don't crave either, honestly I wouldn't mind being in the back and hell, being the drummer and not having to be up front. Though panties in my face, as long as they are not disgusting is pretty damn cool. I have a drawer back at the house full of them, but the little toad up in the attic likes to steal them and wear them. Little bastard. He looks so stupid waddling around in a woman's panties, I mean why the hell would he do that?! And on his head of all places! One day I'm going to get him back." Edward nods and keeps walking, only to look at her when he needs to, which is when she is speaking, otherwise he is paying attention to the ground. He has the Spencer curse of being a klutz. Not something he likes to advertise. Though he has fallen off the stage a few times and cracked ribs, but the band played that off as him being drunk, which drove the girls crazy, go figure.

"Well, I won't hesitate to let you know what the demands are." As she finished speaking of that. He laughs softly and grins back at her smirk. "I like orange skittles, just orange. Any other colors make me puke. I like bottled water, shaken up before it is poured into my glass. Must always have a girl waiting for me at the end of a set, I need her to rub my back. Let's see.. "

He holds out his hand and starts ticking off with his fingers. "Dead bodies in the bathroom to scare my brother, real or not, doesn't matter. My mic always has to be in the middle of the stage, otherwise I throw a fit and start pissing on the crowd." And now he is smiling, hoping that she is realizing he has been making everything up, well aside from the orange skittles.

V starts talking, and talking, and well? Talking. Edward keeps walking and listening to her. And looks at her when she laughs and admits that she does seem to have a talking problem. "It's alright, I think they hold classes for that, maybe 'Talking Too Much Anonymous'?" He grins and shakes his head. "Don't worry about it, I have the habit of talking a lot sometimes too, keeps my voice clear. That and doing this... " And he starts "Ah'ing", then looks back at her with a small chuckle. "I sound like a dumbass, but trust me, it works. I do it all the time, usually in the shower though." Which was a lot of information that he really shouldn't of given out but he happens to be an open book when it comes to personal things, usually.

He notices her shivering and picks up his pace towards the studio, which was just across the street. "We are almost there, just at the black door there." He upnods toward it and smiles at her. "I'm sure the other guys will show up sometime today. And don't worry about feeling dorky, it's fine, really. You sound like you know what you are doing and that's cool." Moving quickly across the street, he gets to the door and pulls the keys from his back pocket and unlocks it. The door pulled open and he steps to the side.

"After you."

Once inside he takes his jacket off and switches the lights on, next to the door and throws his coat down on the couch in the little lounge beside the actual studio room. "Alright, so this is it, right there is the bathroom, small kitchen to the left of that, even a pool in the side, which is heated.. We have pretty much anything we need here, couple of bedrooms in case someone wants to pull an all-nighter. You know, typical. Back over that way is where we keep the equipment. Sound check over here." As he moves towards the second room to the left in the hallway, he stops at the door and turns to look at her.

"Want to look at my equipment now? While you do that, I can get us some drinks and I need to feed the sharks." Leaving it at that, he walks towards the kitchen and into it.

So he was apparently insane, that?s cool. V nodded to herself and kept a smirk on her face. Of course she knew that Rhy?din was a special place full of magic, but talking trees and panty stealing frogs? Inside she was defiantly rolling her eyes at him. At least he had a sense of humor or maybe it was some bad pot or something of that nature that was talking.

She walked along beside him while he spoke, glad that he was doing some of the talking; she hated feeling like she was annoying someone. When he started to ramble off on his demands she had pulled out her phone and flipped open the keypad, taking a few notes, but of course he turned out to once again be joking, so she forced a smile and tucked her phone back into her pocket, feeling like the biggest idiot for falling for that. Of course she?d try to remember about the orange skittles thing and even if he were joking about having a girl ready to massage him, she?d still try to remember that too. There was always a shred of truth to what people said, perhaps he really did want that, she?d try her best to impress these guys and make sure their every needs were taken care of. He broke her thoughts when he started to make fun of her and then out of nowhere started to ?Ahhh? it got her to lighten up and laugh along with him.

Stepping inside the house she rubbed her arms briskly, thankful that it was warm inside. Taking off her backpack, it was left by the door, along with her sunglasses, hat, and hoodie; leaving her in the vintage deconstructed Queen t-shirt and jeans. It was apparent that she wasn?t shy about making herself comfortable. But her eyes soon set on the guitars and drum kit and she was practically drooling.
?Of course I want to see your equipment! Oh my god! Look at the babies! ? She took off running for them and landed on her knees right in front of the guitar rack, her fingers stroking over the necks of each one. ? Wow, you guys must have some great suppliers.? She nodded in approval of their choices in instruments. Turning her head she looked up in shock at him when he mentioned something about sharks, but he was already out of the room.

Grinning to herself she stood up and started to walk around just browsing around the room and looking at things on the stands and shelves. She wouldn?t exactly call it snooping, but rather, familiarizing herself with the band. There were some awards and pictures, but then she opened one drawer and jumped back with a yelp. Not that she hadn?t seen girly magazines and condoms before, but there were plenty of things in there that she could have gone without seeing, including pictures of one of the guys peeing off the stage, she couldn?t quite make out who it was, as their face was blocked, but she could clearly see other parts which caused her face to flush. She?d seen everything to imagine on the road and wasn?t surprised by much, but this time, it really caught her off guard. The drunken photographs and pictures of guys making out with blow up dolls made her bust out laughing and she shook her head, knowing, that if she got the job, this was going to be a lot of fun.
