Apologies for the delay in posting in threads! It's been a very crazy month; hopefully the new year will bring on more consistency...a goal of mine for 2016! :)

Someone playfully warned me that my writing might attract others in search of a proper proofreader...

...just for that, I'm going to start writing like a three-year old once I'm finished with the "Four Nights of Fright" block. I'm sure you'd all greatly appreciate that. ;)

If you're one of those who believes anything that you see, then I'm sorry to say that you're in for a major disappointment. My pride in my writing is far too great to even follow through on that empty threat.
It's okay, though. I still love you.

At least one person might ask why I bothered to post it at all, knowing of its possible effects. It's Reiko's response to recent sights and mentions of babies. You can find it in the chat log for the Red Dragon Inn from Sunday/Monday, 28-29 August 2016, between 11:00pm and midnight (EST).

In light of things picking up with my music degree studies, which now includes my being offered what could become a third part-time job working with music score composition for a theatre production company through the college, there may be another drastic cut in my availability to role-play. This time, my availability could be limited to the occasional forum post.

Many thanks to those who came out last night for the extremely last-minute Innfest that I posted as a playable. I only expected maybe two to participate, but instead there were double-digits. Those who came out will be receiving a pecan pie icon once I make it and get it approved. Thank you!

A very special gratitude is given to Rachael Blackthorne's player for providing me with the chat logs that I needed to start on the bonus thread that I've been planning to post for quite some time now. She really saved me from having to type up a one-post summary.

Long time no see, Rhy'dinians. Concert season started early this semester, thus briefly explaining my absence last weekend...how dare the sister university steal me on a Saturday night, right? -snickers- Anyhow...there won't be anymore concerts for another two to three weeks, so I'm trying to enjoy my free time until then.

As I've kindly informed one in private, I'm not able to commit to tournaments and steady duelling during the semester. Late December to mid-January is the best time to invite me to anything, provided I'm not busy working all three of my jobs. I'll keep you updated as time passes.

Feel free to IM me on AIM in the meanwhile if you'd like! Or, just PM me. I'll answer as soon as I have a free moment or so. (Sh...sometimes I come online during my history class. :P )

Motivacation: Accidental combination of the words "motivation" and "vacation" that Reiko-mun uttered at her daytime job when alluding to her anticipation for vacation.

And, with that said...I'M FREEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!! (For now.)

I have until 23 January to make the best out of my month-long winter break. Catching up on my story folder is a must, which I hope you'll enjoy what I have to post. :)

I would first like to thank everybody who has role-played with me in the live-chat setting of RDI for the past several years, on and off. Whether you consider yourself a friend, family, frienemy, all-out enemy, or just flat-out hate my guts, you and I crossed paths at least once for a reason. Whilst not every encounter has gone particularly well, I'm thankful for each and every one of you. (Yes, Panther, BW, Xenograg, and Amaltea - that includes you as well.)

If it seems like I'm making a bigger deal of this than I should, then chances are that I am. That's because this site and its admins and members mean so much to me.

On that note, effective yesterday, my going into mostly-retirement status from the live-chat setting has become official. There comes a time for doors to open and doors to shut, and this is one door that must be shut for a number of reasons. The only one I'll disclose by choice here is the dimming of my flame of desire to continue role-playing in the live-chat setting. No blame is being placed on anybody. This is simply something that happens in the role-play community, one which we must deal with in our own way.

What is keeping me from completely retiring from the live-chat setting right away? My favourite hosts, Murelle and Dex, as well as Reiko's boyfriend Bond, of course! Need I say anymore about that?

Starting next month, once the RDI Host programme ends (Rest In Peace...), I will only bring Reiko around for special events. Additionally, I will continue to role-play in the forums. The day I retire from role-playing altogether will be the day that Hell freezes over, so until that happens, you're stuck with me for quite a few decades longer.
