"Take left, head straight down the hall and open the third door on right." Ivy's voice floated from a built in PA system.

When Icey arives at the room, she'll find he is inside a very large underground libray. Ivy's personal refference libray containing over 5,000 books on almost every subject imagined and most of them from Earth. Many were very old, many new, some carefully held together by dust and will.

At a desk in the center of the squarish library room, Ivy would be sitting, reading a massive tome on anatomy and reactions to chemicals by each anatomical section.

"There are over 5,000 books in here Icey. This is the start of your education if you want to protect yourself. Knowledge will keep you safe long past the time a weapon breaks or is lost." Ivy said.

Standing he moved to her with surprising quickness, gave her a long hug and a kiss. Putting an arm around her waist he turned them both around to look at the books and waved with a light ebony hand.

"This is your homework when you get bored Icey. Read. Start anywhere, but I want you to read every book."

"Good, you being kept busy will make keeping you safe an easier task. Now then, before you start reading my love, follow me."

Ivy gave her a kiss to the cheek and turned, leaving the library. His steps were taking him down the hall to a room she hadn't seen yet. The armory and training area.

"Time to outfit you with the weaponry you will learn to use and protect yourself with."

"You need proper weaponry Icey that isn't going to kill you in the process of learning how to use it. That sword may be useful later when you can handle it. For now though, take your pick." He said.

Ivy was sizing her up silently as he waved a hand to the racks. Bladed weapons both one handed and two handed were on racks ranging from simple machete's to Gladi's, long swords, katanas and even a few great swords. He was watching to see what she picked.

Also arranged among the armory were fire arms, projectile weapons such as crossbows, bows, compound bows and throwing weapons. Pole weapons and axes were tucked in somewhere along a row of nasty whips. Ivy seemed to have a penchant for weapons and he knew them all well.

His brows rose barely. Interesting choice indeed. Ivy grinned, fangs shown quite clearly now.

"Would seem that your inner instincts, though young are not dull Icey. That blade is called an Elvish Stilletto sword. Technically, for most fighters it's not valued much when they hold it. It feels too light too many, but they lack the understanding that the thin nature of the blade, the exotic metal and ancient craftsmanship make that blade flexible and nigh breakable.

With it Icey, you can get in and around other blades. Slip between armor and even though it's light weight, you being a dragon in human disguise have the same advantage that I do as a vampire. You have more than enough strength to make up for the lack of it's mass." He lectured in a slow, gentle tone.

He took off his naval coat, let it drap over a chair and walked towards another room beyond the armory. His own weapons of choice dangling from a weapons harness. "Time to teach you some things Icey. Come."
