"Looks like the place"

Impossibly long stride brought him around the corner of the building to look around the outside in a curious manner as Jissin hadn't left him any idea of what to expect other than the occupants within. Some leopards, a wolf, a dragon, and the Tigard, but how many other Hunters were here beyond the four she'd mentioned?

Thought forcibly brushed aside, Aerol ducked his head to get through the door. As always he wore his piecemail armor of chain, leather, and hide. Gauntlets were tied at his waist but still in easy reach should that come to pass. However, he doubted there'd be any here wanting to pick a fight with one of his...standing.

J had given her the heads-up about the new hunter rolling in. So she was tending bar when the song "Sweet Home Alabama" started playing in the club. The instant scattering of some of the patrons would have been amusing if it wasn't a serious signal.

Darkhunter in the club...

She sighed and headed for the door. She gave the big man an appraising look, "You must be Aerol. Jissin told me to expect you."

"Did she now?" came his casual response. The corners of his mouth turned upward a touch at the way a few had scattered at his entrance, he was used to that but it still brought amusement. A leisurely scratch along the stubble at his chin let Aerol survey his lone greeter much as she was doing to him. "And whom might you be?"

Unlike other hunters, he didn't bother covering his eyes to protect them from harsh lighting as others did. In all honesty he hated covering his face because they limited the field of vision. A slow pan around the establishment, he noted a few interesting bits but kept it from his face before looking back to his 'hostess'. Posture one of casual alertness noting he was ready for a fight but wasn't looking for any.

The silver haired woman with the vibrant purple eyes looked back at him. She was dress all in black jeans, black boots and a black T-shirt with the word *Staff* on the back.

Petite was a good word for her. A tiny package when compared to the Hunter before her. She stood at average height, about 5'6" and looked to be about 125 lbs soaking wet.

If you didn't know about the 800lbs of Tigard that she could transform into.

"I'm Vanessa Tigarian. You can call me Van or Tigard." She said plainly enough. There was no need to hide from this Hunter.

"Why not Vanessa?" Catching that she preferred part of the first name or what she was beneath. Better to ask now than risk a faux pas later on in his mind.

"And what can you tell me about the current state of things, that perhaps Jissin left out?" Not to undermind his colleague, but different points of view led to greater insight. Eyes look around again. "In more private settings of course...."

She shrugged at the question, "Only Mom or dad gets to call me Vanessa and only when I'm in trouble." she grinned then.

"Other than this is a fully licensed Sanctuary." Aka protected by Savitar. "Been through hell and back since coming here. We had almost triple the number here, then something happened and people disappeared. I want to say close to a year now."

She absently flexed a hand that seemed to be normal in appearance. "Went through a military invasion and the like as well. Not a pretty sight. J's been holding things together with the help of the Squire Regis."

She shook her head, "The disappearances hit us all hard."

Every piece of information is filed as she relates it with the big man remaining impassive despite the fact that many of the disappeared were fellow hunters. "I can imagine." His only comment.

Carefully he turned his gaze around the room noting several stares and whispered conversations matching them. "Might have to pay the Regis a visit. Was glad to find traces of others showing up. Almost thought I'd be the only one at this party.." He wasn't sure if any had found Rhydin before him, just went by the fact it'd been five years to the day since he found others.

There was a nod at that. She had jumped at the chance to run the Sanctuary.

Now she was not so sure. "Ash and Savitar felt it was needed. Of course, getting them to talk is another story."

"Marilyn has offices in the side building. Easier if we all work together in this nuthouse." She knew that was not the usual set up, but then this place broke the rules.

"From what I've seen...live by the sword is a whole new meaning here." A faint lifting of his lips in a smile to that as he regarded Van a bit. "Care to show me to Marylin's offices? Or direct me int the general direction from here so you can get back to tending..."

He didn't want to take up more of her time than necessary, though part of him didn't mind the way the staff shirt hugged at the Tigard. That was something to consider on another time as he didn't know exactly what existed between himself and Jissin just yet. But he wouldn't spit on the honor she'd granted him.

She knew how she looked and it didn't phase her one bit. In fact, she was wary of her looks around these parts. She had a few secrets of her own. Including the Sentinel and Mating marks she kept hidden with her magic.

She tilted her head towards the side door. "Yo, Remy. He's got access to the main house. Don't you give him none of your lip or I might let him chew on your mangy hide, Leopard."

She grinned at bit. "Third floor. She's got a lot on her plate."

"Thank ya kindly..." said while tipping an imaginary hat to Van as he turned away from her, faint lines of electricity dancing between the metal links of his armor in a subconscious manner.

Despite his size there was a predatory grace to every movement Aerol made. Taking a personal cue from her words to the one called 'Remy", his hand shot an arc of static electrictiy at the leopard's feet. Nothing harmful, though he may have an afro for a few days. Ducking through he made his way up the stairs, taking in the layout along the way while humming the chorus to Man-o-War's 'Heart of Steel'.
