She needed something different tonight. Been awhile since she cut loose and the Doctor was navigating her Katana through the streets as if this was second nature. Soon she reached the destination and was cutting the engine. She slid off the bike and triggered the alarm system wirelessly. The helmet was pulled off and she carries it with her past the pneumatic doors. Those Zeiss cyber-eyes scan the room a moment.

Heavied steps carried Brian further within, as he offered a nod to Raven. A roll of neck offering a soft 'cracking', as he neared the bar. His garb semi official, black BDUs and matching boots, coupled with a snuggly fit black under-armor shirt that was short sleeved and a webbed belt that kept his holstered sidearm ever near. The shades in hand were collapsed and tucked into a side pocket of his pants, as he glanced about once more. A feline and a parrot, oh my! An offered nodded to the party at the bar that had been speaking to Raven, as Brian searched for a table.

The good Doctor manages a friendly smile to Brian, recognizing him from the news casts and other events. She makes her way to the bar, "Hoi, chummer." She let herself fall into the street slang from her own time line.

"Doc, it's been a long time." Brian returned the nod to Raye. It had been a while indeed, well before he had his leg worked on, courtesy of the first Raven. Back then she had been in a chair, and he had two whole legs sans parts. Easily a few years back.

"Too long, Brian. Looking good given everything." Raye acknowledged easily enough. Times had changed for her. The implants in her own body taking credit for her ability to... well walk.

From a look over his shoulder, the hooded figure looked toward Brian, eyes focused on him from beneath his hood. With a look to Celest, a nod was offered toward her, in response to her earlier acknowledgment.

She had to stifle a snicker at the bad phrasing from the PiROT then there was a smile to the hooded figure. Now that was someone she would not forget.

Eyes had been felt-- a somewhat shiver taking hold. It caused Brian to turn a bit, his eyes settling upon the hooded one, as a brow somewhat raised. A moment or two had passed, allowing his nerves to ease somewhat as he looked to the Doctor once more, "So where've you been Raye?"

Turning away from the bar now, the hooded Admiral turned to face the elder Ravenlock, elbows resting on the bar as he silently watched him -- making it blatantly obvious that he was the focus of his attention.

"Been playing data slave to Batten." It was slang for working her tail off. "And dealing with some personal drek."

The gloved hand of Brian's flexed a tad, it was an old habit. Truth be told it was more than that-- it was a phantom pain. Though it had been months, he still felt those pains. Something Kruger said he would more than likely live with forever, despite the best work the smith had ever done as far as the eldest Ravenlock was concerned. "Edward... I've not seen him since the tower fell, and I was outed to the public as an Avenger... I miss that obsessive bastard." Then something else caught his attention, as he turned to the hooded one again and this time-- his eyes remained fixated upon the being.

"He's still as obsessive as ever." Raye murmured, then turn to the hooded figure. She stood quietly watching the brief exchange between Brian and the Admiral. It was not her scene, so she refrained from comment. That and the vampire using her blood to heal a cat left a very bad taste in the Doctor's mouth.

Before too long, Brian glanced over to Raye, "So what's this stuff you've been dealing with outside of Batten, Doc?"

"Mostly the fallout from... Banshee." She murmured quietly. "Personal stuff but the main reason Race and me haven't been seeing each other." The voice was tight, but she did delve too deeply into the problems she had been having. Problem exacerbated by the man himself.

"So you got some free time, then?" Brian asked.

Retrieving his hand, the Admiral nodded once more. "I'll let you go about your evening, but -- I'm here pal."

Brian nodded to the Admiral, "That means a lot, an if you ever need it-- so are we, always."

"Pretty much. Been seeing if there are places I can get my hands dirty again. Back into the field so to speak." There was a smile to the Admiral. "It's good to see you again."

There was a hint of a smile on his face as he looked over to Raye. "Good to see you too Doc."

Brian settled up next to Raye, "Alright, you want something to do... I got something for you to do, if you're game. We rez'd the EMS unit for the Market District, however I'm taking it a step further. I want a Tactical Medical Response Unit, Raye. I'm talking heavily armed an' armored for Tactical Situations that will require an immediate medical intervention, in the cases where evacs are not an option. This is to serve the public and also my special operations unit at the 27th. I think personally-- you'd be a good fit there, Raye."

She listened to what Brian was proposing. "Tactical Medical Response eh? Stuff where Evac is not an option. Field surgery and all, I imagine." She mused, "Got my interest. When you want this show running?"

Wolvie was, of course, listening to the proposal. Operations such as this easily peaked his interests.

"You imagine correctly, Raye. The 'TMR' will be based out of the 27th, but will serve wherever we're needed and support the other stations in the city too. I'm headed things on the temp, but I'm no doctor, Raye. I need someone who has their head an heart in the game and more so-- someone that's not afraid to do what needs to be done, to get the job done. Your name came up more than once, that's why I came all the way out here. So see if you want to play with us."

"Sign me up, coach." She murmured in response, her interest peaked and she wasn't a behind the desk type.

"Solid, Raye. Drop by tommorow, we'll get you set up. I'm looking forward to working with you."

"As am I, it'll feel good to be able to contribute again."

Brian smiled, "I said the same thing two years ago."

"Just keep kickin' em in the teeth. They'll get the hint as they're sucking down Gerber." The good Doctor quipped playfully.

"I need to head out though, got a wife to meet. Raye thanks again, see you tomorrow. Brian pushed from the bar, "Admiral-- I expect to see more of you, even if it's just for a drink and some **** talking." Brian offered a wave around, and headed to the exit.

"Looking forward to it, old friend." A hand was raised to wave at Brian as he made his departure.

"Be seeing you, Bri. Give the family my best." Raye stated as Brian left the bar.

(Big Thanks to Brian Ravenlock, Wolvinator, Kit Cree, Cecil Raines and Sugarskull Madness for the play!)
