That was about the easiest way to put it. She missed him and it bothered her to no end. She had to stay away, to make sure she wasn't draining him dangerously. She didn't know what to expect and her thought kept turning back to those few nights.

It was the first time in centuries she let a male so close to her. She could not forgot the betrayal by her husband. The betrayal that created the Huntress that was currently prowling the roof tops of the Dockside district. The Daimons had been staying away from her, but that meant nothing.

If anything it was also troubling but not a damn thing she could do about it. She really needed to stop worrying, but it was what she did best. Kept her on her toes. Kept her alive.
