"All right, we have everything set up?"
She asks her 'assistants' - Ares and Athena - the question as she is re-arranging her desk for the first time, then checking the AR interface in her internal commlink headware, making sure for the eighth time that everything is in place. She wants people to be impressed with this, but to realize that - for the moment - outside of this area, until the Matrix is a bit more populated - it won't all be dazzling.
Still, with the ten thousand commlinks she has ready to go, it'll still be pretty nice to behold, and with Marilyn talking to that O'Rourke girl and a few suggestions made as to other businesses that would not only benefit from this entire setup but might be appreciative of preferential treatment - seeing as they form the backbone of the town - it should get off to a good start. And with the entire town under the wireless coverage umbrella, once the businesses catch on and the customers start coming in...it'll almost like being home again.
She can hardly wait to see the first customer's impressions.
Athena rolls her eyes, sighing. "Yes, Peregrine, we're all set to go, for the fourth time now."
She gives the younger girl a look through narrowed eyes, then sighs and nods. She knows she's on edge - she's been looking forward to this day for so long, and as she's the overseer for the entire Rhy'Din Matrix, it's going to get very exciting very quickly, if all goes as planned.
"All right. Ares, go tell Speed to get the flyers out now. I think we really are ready for this."
He does so, and Athena finally looks like she's relaxing. Peregrine puts a swift end to that. "Athena, I need you to get ready to monitor the Matrix node. You've got the best head for math and logistics, and I want to be sure that the nodes don't get overloaded if we get a flood of customers. Keep a close eye on capacity for me, and let me know if it starts getting into the red. It shouldn't but I want to be safe, just in case. It'll be bad for biz if we go down and crash our first day."
The girl nods and finds herself a seat, closing her eyes and relaxing. Probably running through all the logisitics Peregrine had given her for the nodes.
Sarah takes a last look around at the store, visual and AR, for the ninth time.
"Well...we're ready."
