"All right, we have everything set up?"

She asks her 'assistants' - Ares and Athena - the question as she is re-arranging her desk for the first time, then checking the AR interface in her internal commlink headware, making sure for the eighth time that everything is in place. She wants people to be impressed with this, but to realize that - for the moment - outside of this area, until the Matrix is a bit more populated - it won't all be dazzling.

Still, with the ten thousand commlinks she has ready to go, it'll still be pretty nice to behold, and with Marilyn talking to that O'Rourke girl and a few suggestions made as to other businesses that would not only benefit from this entire setup but might be appreciative of preferential treatment - seeing as they form the backbone of the town - it should get off to a good start. And with the entire town under the wireless coverage umbrella, once the businesses catch on and the customers start coming in...it'll almost like being home again.

She can hardly wait to see the first customer's impressions.

Athena rolls her eyes, sighing. "Yes, Peregrine, we're all set to go, for the fourth time now."

She gives the younger girl a look through narrowed eyes, then sighs and nods. She knows she's on edge - she's been looking forward to this day for so long, and as she's the overseer for the entire Rhy'Din Matrix, it's going to get very exciting very quickly, if all goes as planned.

"All right. Ares, go tell Speed to get the flyers out now. I think we really are ready for this."

He does so, and Athena finally looks like she's relaxing. Peregrine puts a swift end to that. "Athena, I need you to get ready to monitor the Matrix node. You've got the best head for math and logistics, and I want to be sure that the nodes don't get overloaded if we get a flood of customers. Keep a close eye on capacity for me, and let me know if it starts getting into the red. It shouldn't but I want to be safe, just in case. It'll be bad for biz if we go down and crash our first day."

The girl nods and finds herself a seat, closing her eyes and relaxing. Probably running through all the logisitics Peregrine had given her for the nodes.

Sarah takes a last look around at the store, visual and AR, for the ninth time.

"Well...we're ready."

She peeked in on the preparation just to be nosy. That and check up on Sarah. Part of the routine is that she made it a point to take a break with her and made sure she ate something.

Today she was making sure that Athena was included in the *picnic* she had figured out. She got with Winter to make sure the boys got something themselves. The ladies knew once they got started, they could be so focused it wasn't funny.

So she slipped on in with lunch, Chinese, for the ladies with a grin. "So how's it going?"

She had to figure Sarah was bouncing off the walls waiting for this to go live. She was looking forward to it herself.

Marilyn was such a geek.

The drow had gone back and forth in his mind since the announcement hit the streets weeks ago. It was one of those things that made him a little suspicious, what with all the claims of what this Matrix was supposed to act like. The idea of "surfing the web", as some of his other staff at work had put it, with just your mind was on the one hand fascinating and on the other hand frightening. Or maybe that was just all the movies he had been watching in the lounge on his downtime.

He bumped open the door with his elbow, settling his gaze on whoever manned the front desk of the business. "Uhh... hi. I'm here to inquire on this... Matrix thing you're supposed to specialize in."
