It took only a little questioning to get the address, and as the sun cracked the horizon a trip into town was made. Gold passed hands, to expedite the preparation and delivery, and so, with only an hour into the day, a small vase was set before the door of the manor. Summertime perrineals, daylilies and the odd bluebonnet made up the bouquet. And the card that came with the delivery...

Erin,
Was a wonderful evening
Hope you are feeling better.
See you soon!

It was eight am when Erin left her house that morning. Pulling the door closed behind her, she turned to walk down the porch steps, noticing there the vase and note. Tilting her head, she smiled a bit, opening the card to read.

Blink. Her face turned red and she laughed merrily as she took the vase with her to work. She was tickled pink at the card and the attention, and made a mental note to hunt Daniel down that night.

If he were in the market that day, he may see that she had placed the flowers on the counter as she worked. A pretty reminder of spring, and an elevator of her somewhat dour mood lately.
