Name: Erinalle Victoria Dunbridge deVernon
Former names: Erinalle Dunbridge, Erinalle Whitiker, The Grand Duchess Erinalle Victoria of Albian
Nicknames: Erin, E, Skirts, Eri, Ewrie
Race: Human
Age: 20
Date of Birth: May 21, 1986
Height: 5'0
Weight: Usually somewhere between 90 and 100 pounds
Eyes: Hazel, almost green
Hair: Brown bordering on black, lighter at the roots in the summer from the sun.
Employment: Co-Founder of A Stitch in Time, Tender at the RDI and Reporter for the Oracle. Also will stop by friends offices and buisinesses and act as the filing fairy.
Appearance: Erin is somehow always a dignified mess. She rarely bothers to comb her hair or match her clothes to her shoes, but somehow... she always looks somewhat presentable. Erin is thin, though not sickly so. All of her weight collects around her tummy, and she has a cute roll of pudge there. Though, it is barely noticeable, really, in what she wears. She's not completely lacking curves, but she's also not well endowed and if she wanted could pass for a boy. Androgynous is a good word for the figure and hips are sorely lacking. She tends to wear dresses that pull in at the natural waist and are an A line from there. Her shoes are always maryjanes--flats not heels. Her hair is black, though in certain light it is clear that it is just a dark dark brown and is cut to her chin. She can pull it back into messy pigtails, and often does, with the shorter pieces

Personality: Erin has many faces, that is the only thing that is consistent about her. She is loud and rambunctious, flirty and funny, strange and quirky. She drinks. A lot. Often to hide some sort of insecurity or personal pain. In fact, the drinking, often, is to hide the anger which she wears like a badge. She is easily angered and often violent. Throwing things, smashing mirrors and glasses and on occasion she has threatened to shoot someone. Erin takes unnecessary risks often because she is wont to action not thought. Though, the girl isn't entirely vacant upstairs either. She spends much of her time thinking and brooding and working herself into a mental frenzy that often borders on insanity. She is very introverted, even if she is one of the friendliest people at the pub. She can talk about feelings and philosophy in the abstract, but rarely speaks about her own experiences. Things such as her infertility, miscarriages, and time in a mental institution are never uttered aloud save to few. Erin is an insomniac like no other, and often only sleeps two or three hours a night. Her chain smoking is often to hide a bad mood, but also to celebrate a good one. She uses the smoke as a place to divert her attention. She fills the time by knitting, reading, Once the prim and proper Princess, Erin shed all that with glee once she got to Rhydin taking up her role as the permanent rebel. Really, if it's authority, she'll rebel.
Relatives
(PCs)
Sebastian deVernon- ex-husband. Married in a perhaps an ill-concieved b ought of impulsivity, Erin and Sebastian are the definition of "the course of love never did run true." Full of arguments and misunderstandings, the two were held together by a shared past and vision of a common future. Their passion in arguments is held over into their good moments and at times it seemed there is nothing that could tear them apart. Except, perhaps, Rhydin itself. After a particularly nasty fight, followed by a seperation, Erin cheated on Sebastian and they were divorced-- sorta.
Lydia Loran- adopted sister. Adopted as a sister during a trying time, the girl has come to mean more to Erin than anyone ever had. They are as close as two people can be(well, in Erin's eyes) and are now working on a business endeavor together. They also can be very -messy- when together and around cake. Or soda.
Cassandra Ravenlock- cousin through marriage, closest thing to a "sister in law" as of yet. Erin and Cassie, while previously competing for the affection of a certain well dressed man, now seem to be nursing a friendship. Cassie is Erin's view into her boarding school days and reminds her of an old friend Becca who would drink and smoke and talk loudly about sex with her.
Charolette and Dakota Steele and family- though not by blood and even stranger through marriage, Erin has come to think of this family as part of her family through her marriage to Sebastian and treats them as such. Elena is one of Erin's favorite little girls, and Charolette is thought of as almost a mother figure and certainly one to look up to.
(NPCs)
Elizabeth Whitiker- Mother. Erin and her mother once had a very close relationship and are now estranged from each other. In actuality, they are quite alike and just can't stand each other's company. Though, recently, they have been talking again and seem to have made up.
Thomas Whitiker- Father. A very stern man, quiet and reserved, he spends his time reading and working at the many factories he still owns. Though business has been tight. He is a kind man, and loves his daughter, though he cannot understand her choices. Rather than confront her, he would choose to ignore her alltogether. He did take an immediate liking to Sebastian however, as he reminded him of himself.
Grandma Thompson- Erin's maternal Grandmother. She is part Irish and a closeted Catholic. Erin is very close to her and that is where she got her more catholic leanings. It was her grandmother that taught her the Bible and about God and taught her to see God as the love in other people. Erin asks herself what her Grandmother would do and that's how she gets her generous streak.
Richard Dunbridge- ex-husband. Erin and Richard met in society and were married soon after. They had an intense infatuation with each other, and despite his being ten years older than her, married. Their marriage went along fine until Erin's first miscarriage and subsequent mental illness. The two slowly drifted apart and split amicably in the end. Their mutual feeling of capture by the press brought them together before Erin left for good and they admitted their deep love for one another that just couldn't survive romantically.
Erin also has two uncles and one aunt. Their collective marriages yielded six cousins, however Erin's mother was the youngest and her father an only child, so these cousins had reached adulthood before Erin was born and rarely if ever were a part of her life.
Home: Erin now lives in Rhydin at Isis Manor with Storm, Avery and sometimes Cricket. Erin and Cricket picked the manor because it was in disarray and had an old world charm they could both appreciate. The pair renovated it and moved in together just before Cricket became more and more scarce. Lydia has her own room there, though the somewhat grand estate is mostly inhabited by just Erin and Storm and Avery. It's decorated quite strangely in what looks like a Victorian novel run amuck. The house is kept up by Ivy the housekeeper and cook, who has become a very good friend to Erin. It has two main floors, an attic and a finished basement.
Erin and Storm also have a "weekend house" up by Riverwalk. They were living there after Erin's divorce and now use it when one or the other just needs to get away.
Erin is from Earth, England in the 21st century. She was raised in the British upper class, attended a Swiss boarding school for British girls and then a finishing school in the same area. She was married to the heir apparent to the British throne and served as princess and socialite for three years when her mental disabilities and constant bad luck with the press caused her to go into seclusion, an institution and eventually leave Earth all together. She found Rhydin through a nexus portal that is now closed and can only travel between lands using Sebastian's portal and help.
Known Powers/Abilities: Erin is a human and will forever be a human. There is no extraordinary power in her, for the most part. She was an archery champion in school and therefore has pretty darn good aim. After some minor training, she has learned to transfer that to a blaster and a gun and is a pretty damned good shot. She also can do some basic hand combat learned in various self defense courses. Erin is a skilled dancer, winning a few waltz contests in her day and also knows various other forms of dance, making it her specialty in finishing school. She can play piano, sing(quite well in fact), and do needlepoint as instructed, as well. Erin's other training included manners, throwing parties and other social activities. She learned to knit during her married life and has grown quite skilled at it. She also can do some basic beadwork and has learned skills in ceramics. Her sewing leaves some to be desired, but she can put together an outfit from a pattern. She loves to write and fancies herself at least proficient, though she knows she doesn't have the next best selling novel in her.
Interesting tidbits: Erin had her growth stunted at the age of 15 because of an accident that shattered her right leg. While she healed without incident, her growth plate was damaged and in order to prevent one leg growing longer than the other, her growth was mostly stopped. This is why she is much smaller than average in terms of height. If one looks carefully they would see that her right leg is slightly longer than her left, though only by a fraction of an inch and she often files down one of her heels to make up the difference.
The girl needs reading glasses and will often don them if writing or reading at length. However, she is a tad embarrassed of them and will try to get away with them if she can. This can be a problem when she's signing contracts or something else with small print.
Erin has been diagnosed and is treating herself for bipolar 1 disorder. She takes a single pill per day to keep her symptoms somewhat at bay, though she hides this even from her husband. Once in Rhydin she started picking up her medication on the black market at StarsEnd and will visit there monthly in search of her supply.
Erin has never been treated for alcoholism, though it runs in her family and she shows tendencies towards it, if not the disease itself. Her alcoholic preferences change with her mood and while wine is her normal drink of choice(usually a red), she has been known to go for whiskey when particularly agitated(usually angry).
Erin and her mother both have a genetic mutation that limits their fertility. While Erin's mother was able to carry her to term, Erin has never held a pregnancy its full length. Her second miscarriage at 6 months resulted in the death of her baby girl, and damaged her uterus beyond repair. While she can get pregnant, there is no way for her to carry the pregnancy past the first trimester. She has been pregnant, unknown to her, once since this event and wrote the bleeding off as a heavy period. It was, in fact, in the first few weeks of a pregnancy and did not cause a major medical problem.
