((This thread starts the evening of March 20th))
It was late, cold, and she was heading in a direction unknown.
She already missed him terribly.
Pack around her back, she squinted slightly as the cabin came in view. The cabin she was to call home. The soothing sound of the water reached her ears, almost as a type of welcome. Perhaps it was best that she wasn't in the middle of the town anymore. A chance for more healing, more mending, a chance to make choices. It would seem that the Air would be house hopping for quite some time if she did not rebuild her home.
But hopefully staying with Erin will give her a solid foundation for the time being.
She worried for her friend, dearly. Her brows furrow at the thought, looking down and shuffling sand around as she continued her walk. The friend that was so different. In everything. A faint smile then, as she raised her gaze as she came closer. It amazed her at times, that they could find common ground, build a friendship over it.
Erin could feel for her, and she did the same. Perhaps it was the acceptance of different lifestyles that allowed the friendship to blossom into what is was. Quick to listen, slow to give advice. It was just what she needed.
She was there last night. When she had felt horrid, she was there. Even in the midst of what was going on around her, her words and actions were supportive. She would never forget.
She approached the cabin's front, assured that she had reached the right place. A brief glance down to the bandages on her feet, the sand that was caught within the wraps. She was going to have to be a bit more creative with those. She looked up, and reached out, to knock on the door quietly, but not quiet enough that it could not be heard.
"Erin? It is Storm." She thought is best, to say who she was, as to not startle Erin if she was inside.
