Tass was sitting among the many books of his library in the city proper and glanced up from the one he was reading as the two appeared before the desk. Des smiled to him as she held her hand over the wound in her shoulder the other hand holding onto Darling's.
"Howdy Darlin'. Just thought we'd come by and see how you are doing since I hadn't seen ya in a while." She gave an encouraging smile to Darling and a squeeze to her hand. "I don't think you've met Tass yet but I'll introduce ya to him later. We don't want to bother him too much right now cause I'm sure he was really enjoying that there book he was reading when we stopped by just now." The babbling cowgirl began to slowly back toward the library door with her friend in tow.
The slightly frightened Darling after looking about herself followed her with no resistance as she looked at Tass before they reached the door.
Des knew the Baron Dragon very well and had already shown him exactly what had happened via a mind link which was much quicker than words and she smiled softly to Tass as the wound on her shoulder was Healed without her having to ask. Moving forward she quickly gave him a hug and kiss to the cheek then turned back to Darling and headed on out of the library with her. "Well that is all taken care of. There won't be much left after this little stunt I'm thinking. What is up with the two of you anyway?"

She nodded to her as she lead her down several twists and turns along hallways then on out the front door and into the cobblestone streets which would lead them back to the Inn. "I'm not so sure that was a good idea Darlin'. He seemed pretty dead set on hurting ya badly when I got there."

The cowgirl blinked at her as she matched her steps to keep pace alongside her while keeping a watch out for any unsavory types that might be out on the streets even though she was well aware that they had one extremely ticked off dragon as an unseen escort with them. "But he couldn't purchase ya. No one owns you anymore. Did ya not understand that?"
The former slave shook her head still unused to being free. << I'm so sorry Tera ..I ruined everything...>> Tears welled up in her eyes.
Des moved to place an arm around her friend's shoulders as she spotted the glimmer of tears in her eyes via the street lamps as they turned at a corner and took off down another street. "Aww Darling. You haven't ruined anything. There are just a few things that you have to learn about being free it sounds like and now you have learned one more here tonight okay?" She gave her a reassuring smile. "No one can buy you because you own yourself now."
Darling nodded. << But if..it weren't for me the Annex wouldn't be...>>
She shook her head firmly. "No. You didn't tell that crazy Vanion to set anything on fire. He has been doing that a lot lately and I'm sure that someone will fix it back up right quick like so don't you be worrying one bit about it."
She nodded. << Thanks..Tera..for everything...I just hope this has not been in..vain..and something good comes from it>>
The cowgirl winked to her sassily as she dropped her arm from around her shoulders and pointed up ahead toward the bright lights of the Inn. "It is my pleasure to be helping ya out Darling. It really is. Gav and I like ya a lot and you are our friend and we did promise ya that we would protect ya and we both stand by that. If he hadn't had to make an unexpected trip back to Westridge with them there councilors he would have been right there with me tonight helping ya out too. You'll see that something good will come from this. I'm thinking that it already has because now ya know for sure that ya got friends here that ya can count on and even Dimitri there helped ya out."
Smiling widely now she brightens. << Thank you Tera...and...I have something to tell you...I am a rebel from my planet..a spy for them ..to overthrow the emperor>>

Des tilted her head to the side as she thought for a moment about that before speaking. "I'm not sure I can pomise Westridge being an Ally so I'm gonna have to wait until Gav gets back for that. I am not sure about this whole Country running stuff ya see cause I ain't never been a Queen before and I ain't never had to deal with no council members and them fancy pants types like they is but Gav knows 'em real well and he will know what can and can't be done and promised and all." She smiled warmly to her then waved as Darling ran into the Inn before she turned and headed back to the apartment.
