I am gonna be getting married again and am afraid I will have to be letting people call me Lady after this occurs. I am not certain because I ain?t never been married to no Lord before but it does seem to me that if someone is married to a Lord then they would have to be called a Lady. I ain?t sure that this will sit too well with me since I ain?t never been liked to be called a Lady in the first place but I guess I can?t go around hitting people if they are addressing me like they are supposed to be addressing me.
The wart nosed neighbor lady and her scrawny husband are still at it with their threats but I did get to talk with Lucien the other night. It wasn?t good timing I must admit as Icer and Aurthur?s hatchling, Icewing, had just tripped him causing him to fall right smack into the bar just as I was hollering at him about them suing me and him needing to get with it and get me out of this here mess.
I probably should have waited until he at least got all the way in the door before starting in telling him about my difficulties but I had been waiting on him for several days and this here is important because she is wanting my MONEY!! I can not be going shopping and taking my precious Little Kali Kat for her regular check-ups and getting her special water and food if that old hag is gonna be winning her case against me.
Well at least I don?t have to worry about my precious baby killing the no count sniffing around Tom Cat cause he was on our balcony when Kali asserted her female right to say ?no? even if she did so a tiny bit aggressively. I do think she takes after her Momma. That would be me moldy pants!!
The assault charges I am facing are another story though. I didn?t know I needed to drag the scrawny husband over to my yard before I hauled off and punched him. Lucien has now set me straight on that though so from now on I will only be brawling in my own front yard not the neighbors. He thinks maybe he can get me out of them but it will take some work on his part and he is willing to work with me on his fee.
Sadly I can afford to pay him what his time is really worth so there goes more of my MONEY!!! Now don?t get me wrong my precious love has offered to pay Lucien for me so I don?t have to pay for this here whole mess unless I just want to but I don?t want to use up all of Gav?s money on Lawyer fees when I could be using his money to go shopping!!
My precious love is RICH!!! I could shop til I dropped and not spend all of his money! I am very excited about this prospect and when we get married I will be a Queen no less apparently as well as having the title of Lady. Can you just see that!? Me... a Queen. I am greatly looking forward to this as I will then have a whole kingdom?s treasury at my disposal.
But that is in the future and right now there are other things that have been happening around here that I haven?t taken the time to tell you about.
My friend Charna has gotten herself in with a bad crowd and there was a confrontation last night in the Inn. I feel I can not do more than I have and so I am gonna have to let Keats and Grem handle this from here on out. I am just at a loss as she continues to side with the druggies and I have spoken to her twice offering her my help and been turned down both times. I?m gonna support Keats and Grem as best I can and see what happens with this whole thing.
All of Icer and Aurthur? clutch have safely hatched and the dragonlings have been moved to their new home. They have adopted a little one that hangs out in the common room with them and she is just the cutest little thing! Sometimes she shifts into Li Li still and causes mischief with her bubbles which is quite the sight to see. I have to laugh when she does that.
Panth got hurt somehow or another last night. I didn?t see it happen and I am not really sure where exactly he is injured cause I was on the other side of the common room and Sid, Leni, and Kai where over helping him out so I didn?t get real close to see anything. Strange things are happening again though and I am not sure I like the tone of things in town.
It don?t make sense to me that anyone or anything would attack Panth. He don?t do nothing to nobody and his prices are fair and his liquor ain?t watered down or nothing. The rooms are clean and the staff keeps everything nice and tidied up for the customers that rent rooms on a steady basis. The stable lads take good care of the beasts and the feed is good and they get clean water and exercise when their owners can?t ride ?em.
