The letter Taneth had received gave her specific instructions on what she needed to set up for the charity ball. She was also told who the proceeds would go to, which would namely be the Widows and Orphans as well as a few of the locals to help them prosper and grow. This warmed Taneth and the fact that the benefactors were unknown, or wanted to remain unknown, did not bother her as they were simply wanting to good for the community.
Taneth had many things to accomplish and she was instructed to contact some of these local businesses to enlist their help. She needed decorations, music, food, clothing, and a little something that the guests could take home as a keepsake as well. It was a big task, but one she was going to try to accomplish.
The first order of business was to get back into contact with Des and that horrible Gav, who had made her so mad that she had wanted to throw something very hard at him, but she refrained because anger was considered a sin amongst her people. Perhaps Gav did not know marriage was something she may never do because it was against what she was taught; nevertheless, he could not stop saying she was getting married. In the end, however, Taneth and Gav ended on good terms and Des ensured her that they would help. Taneth may even let them put the charity ball announcement in the Oracle, but only if that horrible Gav was not as mean during their next meeting.
The bouncy blonde packed a basket full of food, flowers, and toys. She remembered that Des and Gav had a baby and she never gave the little one a present. She put on a strapless dress with red rice paper thin petal floral print cover over a teal fabric with an empire waist shown off by the wide teal ribbon wrapped about and tied in the back with a bow. Although Taneth did not know this story, she was much like Little Red Riding Hood at the moment as she bounded out of her modest cottage and to the Starfare Wedding Boutique, or rather to Des and Gav. She hummed, bounced, and her energy level was high as she went on her way. Hopefully she would find them without too much trouble.
