Walking outside the Inn and down the street, Gavilean has a special smile on his face. "I have a surprise for you, Des."

Des waved to Guido as she stepped off the porch and smiled softly to Gav. "What kind of surprise it is Luv? I've already had a few tonight."

He frowned, "Well, it's nothing like the tiara you got from Skyler." Now he wasn't so happy about his gift. "It's just a little thing."

She lets go of his hand and slides her arm around his waist; letting her body brush against his as they walk slowly down the street headed for their apartment through the quiet streets. "Skyler had to try and find something that cost more than what Kalinda bought me Luv. You know that is all that was. His gift doesn't carry any heart felt meaning with it. That makes it different in my book. You know what I mean Gav?"

He smiled, "Yes, I know what you mean." His arm moves around her and they do the leg over leg thing as they walk down the street. "This is not really a gift. It's just a surprise."

The DoS Caller chuckled quietly as she did her best to match strides with him and occasionally stumbled. The arms around each other's waists helping to keep her on her feet as they made their way along. "You didn't say what kind yet though Luv. And I do wanna know."

"You're just going to have to wait, my love." He grinned and was not about to tell her. When they got to her apartment he took her hand and pulled her through the rooms and out onto the balcony. There on the balcony was a new barbeque grill, made with stainless steel by Ayreg's Forge and his gnomes. Gav pointed to it and winked, pushing his hair back over his shoulder, "There! And I have steaks in the fridge!"

"Oh my goodness!!" Her eyes got wide and a huge smile lit up her face as she turned and hugged him tightly then kissed him soundly from sheer excitement.

He held her in his arms, embracing her to his body, "I thought that when you were ready, we could have guests over. This is such a great balcony, we can use it for our private dinners and for parties. What do you think?"

Still smiling happily she nodded rapidly as she took a better look at the workmanship of the grill from where she now stood in the circle of his arms. "Oh yeah. Definitely that is a great idea Luv. Now all we have to do is figure out who to invite over first." She grinned up to him.

He looked down into her beautiful navy eyes and just kept looking, lost in their depths. His words were hardly more than a whisper, "We have so many friends to choose from. We could have a dinner party every week and never invite the same people twice." His fingers moved through her hair, his palm brushing her cheek.

Her gaze never faltered as she looked back letting him see and know anything he wanted to there in her eyes. She rested her hands on his sides and smoothed them up then down very slowly. Her head tilted toward that brief touch as she smiled softly to him and nodded. "Between yours, mine, and our friends, it might be two or three years before we'd be having repeat visitors Luv."

He leaned his forehead close to hers, "Do you know what meals I'll like the best?" His arms came up and wrapped arond her shoulders, his hair softly touching her cheek. "The intimate meals with just you and me, and Kali."

Des moaned quietly one hand came up to thread through the silk of his hair as it rested against her cheek. The other skimmed to the nape of his neck as she lifted up on her tip toes to capture his lips with hers. The tip of her tongue darted out to briefly touch the seam of his lips before playfully withdrawing. Joyfully she reopened the private pathway she had established earlier with him since she was otherwise occupied. He was the only person she would communicate this way with and it was something she was looking forward to sharing with him. -= That will be every breakfast for sure so ya might as well give in and agree now. =-

His heart pounded with desire when her tongue touched his lips as she kissed him. He didn't want it to end, yet it was over almost as soon as it had started. -= Every breakfast, Des? But that means I'll have to sleep here with you every night. =- He smiled and cupped her cheek with his hand, his thumb caressing her check, his mouth so close to hers that he could feel her breath on his lips. This time he spoke in words, his voice a soft magical quality that was almost a song, "I would like to stay here with you always, Des. I love you. I love you very much."

The hand at the nape of his neck flexed slightly as she swayed and dropped back flat-footed. A loving smile curving into place as he spoke the words she had wanted to hear. She kept her voice to a hushed whisper. "I don't want you to ever leave here Gav. I don't want you to ever leave me. I love you and always have. I know the timing really sucks here and all and I am so sorry about that but I don't want to risk losing what you and I have because I feel that what we have is something special and real. I love you Gavilean Starfare and I want you to stay with me, please."

He listened to her words and could not contain the emotions rising up within him. These were the words he had longed to hear. "I will stay with you forever, Des. Forever." He brought his mouth to hers, this time hard and with no hesitation, wanting her so much. His mouth pressed to hers and his tongue slipped through her lips, seeking that wonderful tongue that had just touched him moments before.

He stole her breath so she took it back from him within the kiss that she blissfully returned with both arms skimming up to wrap around his neck as she went back up on tip toes to mold supple curves to hard planes in wordless surrender and complete agreement to a passionate kiss that was literally years overdue.

His strong arm moved to her waist, lifting her up and into him. His tongue moved against hers, feeling it over and under, feeling her breath both through her mouth and nose, so sinking into this delicious kiss that he had wanted for so long. Finally his dream was being answered, the dream he had feared of even hoping for had become a reality. He loved her already with all his heart.
