Welcome!

This is the place to put all those OOC things that you (and I) would like to say. Suggestions, comments, critiques, necessary information to pass on, etc.

I?ll be rambling between past and present things as time goes on. I?m trying to decide if I want to do it as journal entries or just reminiscing, more than likely I?ll do it as a mix of both. Des is too flighty to keep a steady journal. LOL

I?m viewing the setting here as her room upstairs at the Inn so if you?d like your character to stop by for a visit with Des feel free to post something. =)

I've decided as far as the Journals go it will be easiest just to put NJ and OJ along with a number in the subject lines and use italics for the actual entries themselves.

If this sounds or gets confusing give me a yell with suggestions to make it an easier read. =)

Since by now those of you who are reading may be wondering I should probably explain what this means.

Charna and Des were sitting in the Inn one afternoon with Grem and a few others. Des was talking with Grem when out of the blue Des announced to him that basically everything about him screamed "do me". She then turned to Charna and told her that from now on they would just called it TDMF between the two of them. Charna agreed.

Thus "The Do Me Factor" was born. =)

I can NEVER do justice to Imp, G, and Kaja. They are a delight best savored in person folks. I laughed so hard that night I thought I wasn't going to be able to type.

I have my fingers crossed that all three will be able to stop by the RDI for the Dueling night so that we can enjoy them over here too. Imp the character and player will definitely be here because they will be calling the duels for us.

I hope you all enjoy the P'Imp's visit in April!

The powdered doughnuts might have come from a book I read. I can't remember for certain and it is a looooooong way up the stairs and a huge pile of books to find out for sure! LOL

The player that writes as Jean has given permission for his writing to be put in this folder. I'm not going to repeat it for every post I put here that might include it. I figure this one time should cover it. =)

I know! I know! Des can't give up on anyone without at least one last ditch effort. It is just the way that she is. =)

Feel free to incorporate the Duet into your own Role-playing for those times when your character and their sweetie need to ditch the kids, assassins, or other pesky creatures that just won?t leave you alone for a little romance and relaxation.

Each suite has it's own unique theme so have fun! =)

The staff are very discreet and their lodging records are magically sealed. The restaurant itself is a popular place to dine and simply being there having a meal is nothing unusual. Be warned though all the uppity gossips keep an eye on the champagne fountain located to the right of the door as it appears couples have a habit of walking over to fill their glasses and not returning to their tables...

That really did happen when I first started hosting back on AOL. :)

I was as green as grass at the time, having terrible trouble getting used to keeping up with IC and OOC things in the room at the same time, and I remember thinking to myself good grief do I really want to do this????

Now it is one of my favorite memories from when I first started hosting.

It reminds me that I can only type as fast as I can type and read as fast as I can read. My connection only runs so fast and Des can always grab an empty bottle. LOL

Tass never actually asked Des to marry him that I can remember.

Correct me if I'm wrong Tass' player! =)

She decided that he was going to and that was good enough for her to decide that she was engaged to him because she stopped seeing other people while she was seeing him years and years ago.

Omgosh, somebody that writes almost as much as I do, and as quickly, and with such gusto!

Keep writing. Just don't burn yourself out, like I did. I'm -soo- suffering from RP'ers block, atm

I can help with that RPers block!

I shall save the day by having Des stop by and announce to Jodiah that he is her HERO for saving her from the dread Sith Lord!!! ::grins impishly::

And I know a certain incredibly handsome half-human half-elven who already has the protection well in hand. ::grins even more::

I know a certain half-human half-elven that qualifies as a TDMF male!!!

::see signature for further details as Jean is now dead::

It just occured to me that maybe I should explain what Des means when she mentions these two terms.

These are her unique ways of refering to her mourning of her dead husband Jean.

Broke = Crying and panic attacks. When this occurs in public she wants to escape to somewhere private where others can't see her grief. Being broke tends to lead to her running off looking for Gav or Tass if neither are with her.

Fixed = Being able to be in public smiling and laughing and acting like she always has. Des is definitely on the mend; however there are still times when only Gav or Tass can get her through the panic attacks.

The setting of the folder is no longer her room upstairs at the RDI.

It is now Gav and Des' apartment on Cranapple St. The map in the Environ's thread shows the exact location of their home.

Please still feel free to have your character stop by for a visit or send a letter anytime! I am a bit busier these days with it being Spring, and therefore offline work to do, but I still try and get to everything as quickly as I can so that you don't have to wait an ungodly amount of time for replies. =)

Hiya folks!

I've been sending out a lot of PMs and I thought maybe this would be a simpler way to do this. =)

We have a matching folder over on the RoH (ringsofhonor.org) site and everything is duplicated there. There is a copyright thread there were we post usernames letting people know they can not use writing that we copy and paste from here to there without y'all's permission.

If you would rather we NOT copy and paste a reply you have made here please let us know when you make it and we will happily respect your wishes. =)
