~ Setting the scene: This all started a few of weeks ago when Skyler posted a note in the Arena flaunting his wealth and Des decided she would get a present from him since he was so wealthy. Sklyer ended up giving Destre a tiara in the Arena one night.
She then put up a picture of the gift and left a note on the board saying he is a really nice person because he gave her this very expensive gift when all along she had been just teasing him and had not expected him to actually give her a present. He came along behind her and put up a note basically saying she was lying.
For those of you that don't know Skyler he has a very bad reputation to uphold and Des is wrecking it something fierce but she sees something good inside him every once in a great while when he lets her which isn't very often at all. ~

Spying Skyler?s note she jerked it off the board and took it with her upstairs to the Inn. Finding him there she confronted him, waving the note in his face and yelling at him to stop lying about giving her a gift. He however was skunk drunk and was hiding curled up against Kelathe?s side.
Kel was protecting him and informed Des that perhaps Sklyer hadn?t intended for the tiara to be a present for her at all. At first Des was upset to think that he hadn?t meant to give her a gift but then she got to thinking back and remembered how he had acted when he gave it to her. He hadn?t acted like someone that hadn?t wanted to be giving a present. Nope, not one bit!
Having tended bar for well on fourteen years Des knew better than to try and argue with a drunk therefore it was time to put plan B into action. Don?t mess with a woman who is determined to get her point across and especially don?t mess with a determined Des.
The petite female stood in front of her assembled troops giving them a last good going over to make sure that everyone had their note cards in hand and that everyone had their sacks filled with breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
She had made arrangements with the RDI pages to make sure that each person standing before her would be delivered a fresh water skin every two hours without fail. This would cost her a great deal but she felt it was well worth it and Westridge was picking up the tab since the council was in town to discuss the wedding plans anyway she had simply told the Country?s treasurer to hand over the money to her.
A slow smile curved into place as she nodded her satisfaction to her troop of Town Criers and sent them on their way to stand on the corners of the city blocks in RhyDin. They were stationed approximately every six blocks throughout the entire city. They would sound off every hour on the half hour from the hours of seven thirty in the morning until seven thirty in the evening reading exactly what was written on their note cards each hour every hour without fail.
?Des knows Skyler Jackson Chamberland is a really nice person!"
