Des had been to The Arena for an evening of dueling with nerf swords thanks to her being pregnant. She wouldn?t use steel nor wooden blades and risk harming the precious life that she was carrying. Nor would she duel anyone that wouldn?t use something soft and harmless in the ring against her. Luckily she had found two opponents tonight, one with a balloon sword and one that used a nerf spear and she had had a grand and glorious fun time dueling.
Then she went up to the Inn to spend a little time visiting with whoever might be there that she happened to know. This wouldn?t be a problem as she knew so many people that surely to goodness someone would not be busy already visiting and she would have someone she could talk with.
Up the stairs she and her ?diamond? went, two in front of her and two behind, into the common room they strode then resumed their formation around her as she smiled and waved, happily seeing a bunch of people she knew and would gladly spend some time talking to about anything at all.
But then she spotted him but only after he had already spotted her and he was headed for the door out. Oh that man. That mean, mean man that she had only seen a couple of times before but would never, ever forget because of what he had done and how he had done it. Actually she would never forget both times she had seen him because of what he had done and how he had done it.
Thankfully though he was on his way out when she was on her way in and he didn?t do more then just thoughtfully study her for a moment which in her eyes after what he had done to her that second time she saw him was bad enough. Blech! She didn?t even want him able to look at her to tell the truth but to have his eyes gouged out well that would be maybe going a little bit too far and be a little bit radicle but still she didn?t want him looking at her even so she was glad he was leaving.
Des had actually told Gavilean all about what the man had done to her and how Dakota had leaped to her defense at the time and maybe even saved her from anything further happening than what did happen as the man was just downright mean looking and foul mouthed even. She really couldn?t stand a foul mouth.
For some reason that just made no sense to her to have a foul mouth like that man had on him. Why not learn to say what you had to say with some learned words instead of resorting to gutter talk in her opinion. But not that man. He had a mouth on him that would not quit and after he had shoved her while she was on duty behind the bar that was all it took. He had made her ?list?.
But he was headed out and she was headed in and he didn?t say a word to her this night so she just looked at him back and she and her guards went on to the bar to get herself a cup of herb tea since the midwife would no longer allow her to have alcohol plus horror of horrors her precious coffee intake had also been limited. Thank God it had not been eliminated as the woman had at first tried to get her to do but it was severely limited now.
So Des was mostly minding her own business when it came to light that this man, Tommy, had been doing more than minding his own business during his time at the Inn before she arrived. Wyh and Tasha were not shy in sharing with her what had happened between Jewell and him and Taneth and him this night and in the past.
She was happy to let them know what he had done to her. Wyh shared what he had done to her. Des shared what he had done to Charna in front of her. The three women were sharing up a storm with each other what this man had done to women in front of each of them at different times. Needless to say the more that was revealed about this man?s activities and actions and behaviors toward women the more heated the discussion became among the women.
Something had to be done the three of them decided as a group. Names were suggested of powerful men that would make this man sit up and take notice that the female bar tenders of the Red Dragon Inn were off limits. Plans were settled on to be put immediately into motion to stop this man dead in his tracks because these women had had enough of being bullied. Roles were defined and marked out to be carried out in secret and silence and in public too.
The three women were determined and set on their paths. They parted ways to each take up their part in their plan to end this man?s wicked ways with the female bar tenders of the Red Dragon Inn.
