Gavilean

Gavilean woke up in bed on Valentine's Day and decided to have some fun, so he pretended to have forgotten all about it. He stretched in bed, sat up (not wearing anything), and looked over to the windows and the French doors that led out to the balcony of their royal suite. He then looked down on his sleepy wife, and once again was so thankful that she is his wife. Even sleeping, she is the most beautiful woman he had ever seen. "Hmmm, just another boring, snowy day in Westridge." He raised an eyebrow and looked down on Des.

Des cracked one blue eye opened partway and glanced over at her beloved as he spoke. She was excited as she had presents to give out today and couldn't wait to see if Gav would like them. It wasn't quite Christmas but this was pretty close next to birthdays in her book. Anything that had to do with giving wrapped up items was a red letter day in her book and this was one.

There was only one problem though she lifted her head and wormed her way upwards from partially beneath the covers where she had burrowed down as usual beneath them in a snuggle to sleep curled up with Gav. Des couldn't smell nor could she see any hint of coffee in their room, and here her beloved husband was already waking her up on this day of celebrating how much you loved your other half. She huffed and elbowed him in the ribs. "Pull that blue cord or I ain't givin' ya a one of the presents that I done went and got for you even if ya have forgotten what day this here is."

"Presents? It's not my birthday. Nope. Is it Groundhog Day? I don't think so. Hmmm...Is it Elven Culture Day? No, that's not until summer." He tried very hard not to crack a smile. "Oh, I know. You just want coffee on this very ordinary, cold, Westridge day." He rubbed his hand over her naked shoulders, warming them up. He loved the feel of her soft skin.

"Ack!" Des rolled over to perch atop his stomach with her hands resting on his shoulders as she peered down into his handsome face with mock ferocity and a little low primitive growl to let him know that she was in charge. "It's Valentine's Day Gavilean Starfare and well ya know it! I know ya got presents hidden somewhere here for me and I'm gonna find 'em with or without your help and if ya don't get 'em I ain't givin' ya yours."

"Valentine's Day? Is that what day it is? It's just amazing how it has a way of sneaking up on someone." He burst out laughing, looking up into her navy blue eyes, but his laughter stopped when his gaze lowered to her ample and perfect breasts. "I better just reach up and pull this blue cord." He pulled the blankets around her, and then pulled the cord and at once the inner door opened and in walked maid after maid, each with a vase filled with deep red roses. They began to place the roses all around the bed.

After the "Rose Maids" came and left, the "Chocolate Maids" entered their chambers. There were two of those. The first carried a big, dark chocolate heart; the second carried a dark chocolate horse filled with liquor. Then came the last maid with a special box for that she gave to Gav. Then all the maids left, giggling.

Des was bundled up snug and quite content thinking she had plenty of time to savor the warmth of skin against skin as she began to rub her cheek to his broad should when he reached to pull the cord. On any normal day she knew they had at least fifteen minutes before there would be a knock on their door heralding the arrival of coffee and breakfast. So it was only natural that she had begun to trail kisses along the underneath of Gav's jaw when she heard the door open which brought a gasp of surprise and had her jerking her head up to see was going on. "Oh you didn't!" Were the first words out of her mouth as she watched maid after maid entering and the scent of roses began to fill the air.

By the time the chocolate arrived her head was back on her beloved husband's shoulder and she had unshed tears misting up the navy blue at his thoughtfulness and was slowly shaking her head in sheer disbelief at the number of roses and huge confections he had found and had delivered first thing upon her waking. "Babe I didn't get ya nothing near as wonderful as this and ya got a box there too. Oh dear me... "

"Des, my love, just the good morning kisses you've given are more precious to me than all the roses and chocolate in Westridge. But I do have this little box." He smiled and handed it to her. Inside was a necklace with two hearts outlined in diamonds. One heart had the name "Des" inside it, the other had "Gav" and the two diamond-studded, gold hearts were linked together. "I hope you like this, honey."

She just melted as he spoke those words. Her filled up and overflowed with the love that she felt for him. It couldn't hold anymore than it already did and yet her love continued to grow. Her voice was quiet when she answered as she looked between the lovely gift and the man that she cherished. "It is just as perfect a gift as you have been to me. I will wear it and cherish it always just as I will always cherish and love you Gav. Would ya please put it on for me?" She held it out with hands that weren't quite steady and smiled that smile that was reserved only for him.

He swallowed the lump in his throat that had grown there from the love he held for his wife. "Of course," he said softly as he took the necklace. "You'll have to turn around." When she did, he placed the necklace around her neck and fastened it at the back of her neck. He then moved his lips to her neck and his hands to her breasts. "I love you, Tera Destre Starfare," he whispered against her neck.

Des sighed softly and leaned back against him for a moment just luxuriating in the moments shared by the two of them, and the feelings that bound them together heart to heart before she stirred and whispered. "Let me get your presents." Then she was off scampering into her dressing room and back diving beneath the covers with wrapped boxes and a fancy beribboned envelope which she held out to Gav first.

He just loved watching her go off naked to her dressing room. That was already the best part of the morning. "You've got boxes? And an envelope too?" He took the envelope and opened it, smiling as he began to look at it.

Des grinned as he opened her first gift of two tickets to the RhyDin Theater for any play of his choice that included a full meal, a servant in attendance throughout the play, and was private box seating overlooking the stage.

"I know how important culture is to ya Babe so I thought I could get ya some."

"Sweetheart! This is wonderful!! I've really wanted to take the time to go to the theater, and now you've provided that opportunity! Thank you so much! We're going to enjoy this!!" He leaned forward and kissed her deeply.

She savored the kiss, returning it with interest, before dragging the first bright red wrapped package from the foot of the bed up to him that wasn't too large and contained a bottle of champagne, two cut crystal flutes, and a silver bucket to chill it in. "This one next love mine!"

He took the box and felt the weight of it. "Wow, this must be horseshoes!" he said with a grin. He opened the present and smiled. "Oh, my darlin', these are so very beautiful. I know how we're going to be celebrating this evening. We're having champagne and then I'm going to make love with you for hours!"

She laughed with delight and smiled radiantly, then drug the next package upwards to him that was bigger and contained a basket that held bottles of wine and assorted chocolates; and in case he was wondering by now, she had indeed been to visit Imp's Little Shop of Horrors again as that was one of her favorite places to shop. "I'll see you that ?hours? and raise ya by a day Babe!"

Gav laughed, loving her so very much. "Well, now I'm not going to have to steal your chocolates! I've got my own!" He laughed again and pulled Des into his arms. "I love you so very much, darlin'. I don't know how I can contain all the love that I feel for you." He kissed his beautiful, naked wife with a kiss that was loving and sensuous.

Des purred softly as she drug the last much smaller box up while kissing her sexy husband lovingly letting it linger for moments that she didn't bother to keep track of as all that really mattered today to her was showing Gav how much she loved him. In fact she decided the handcuffs she had bought which were in that box could just wait, since she would much rather spend time kissing and being kissed and doing much more interesting things than opening any more presents at the moment.

He took the small box in his hand but now he was getting very turned on by his wife's kisses and the way her naked body pressed against his. He loved her so very much and just wanted her right now. Gav rotated Des in his arms and laid Des back on the pillow. "You?re too good to me," he whispered.

And they made love for a very long time.
