"Yeah, but if you send Anya's people to the hospital, I get outta here slower." He teased her as he looked to her," It's Conan O'Brien. Talk show host. He's pretty funny."
She set down the jello cup before leaning into his side and kissing along his jaw line." Never heard of him." She turned to look at the T.V." Do you really wanna watch it, cause can change the channel."
"I can change the channel too." Waves the remote he has, attached to the bed by a cord." I like 'im."
Meanwhile, on the TV: TWITTER TRACKER TWITTER TRACKER TWITTER TRACKER!!!!! IT'S A TONGUE TWISTER!!!! Which Jin apparently finds funny as he snickers." If you don't like 'im, we can switch or turn it off entirely."
"Mmmm nope, it's you time so you get to pick. You're the one that's here because of me." She frowned slightly and lowered her head." I feel like such an idiot, I should have kept you from fighting." She sighed for a moment or two and slumped back besides him.
"Nah, I'm the one who punched him. But he's the one who got Lily drunk and made "bliss" with her. He's just a prick for taking out his butthurtedness on you."
She shrugged as she managed to murmur to him." Well let's just say Mom and Gramps flipped when they found out what happened."
"What do you mean? Flipped as in they're mad at you, or they're mad at him? Or both?"
"They're very, very mad at him."She nods," Haven't seen him since I nearly killed him the other day for what he did to you. Mom interrupted us too. It wasn't pretty."
He laughs." So you nearly killed him and didn't end up here? Looks like you're stronger than I am." He smiles at her.
She shook her head." Mom healed me. And when I found out you were here I nearly went crazy again."
"Chiros and I... we beat the fuck out of each other."
She nods again." I know you did."
"Were it not for that arte I have, he would have totally creamed me, though."
Frowns a bit and leans into him." I don't think I would have let him get away with that."
"Actually, he already did totally cream me. Just I managed to cream him back." Rubs his chin a bit." And you didn't let him get away with it."
Nods softly again with a smirk," I wasn't going to let him get away with hurting you."
"I appreciate it, babe." He snuggles her up to him, and kisses her on the forehead.
She kissed under his chin before she exhaled." Anything for the man I love."
"Anything for the woman I love."
She bit her lip softly." Did you just say what I think you said?"
"Huh? That I love you? Don't I say that like... over nine thousand times?"
She shook her head." You've always been careful about that. You've never said it so freely."
No, not over nine thousand. He has drain bamage. But he does indeed say it often..." I stood up to a god because I love you, and I thought he was being an absolute jerkass to you. No, not stood up to him. I tried to fight him."
She smiled softly and looked in his eyes." You fought him. You waged war with him. All because of me."
"NOH. Saying it like that makes it sound like it's your fault, but it's totally not! It's all because of him, and I did it 'cos I wanted to!"
She nods to that and draws in a deep breath. She smiled a bit softly." Thank you love."
"Of course, babe." He grins at her as she turned to give him a soft kiss.
He leaned into that kiss as best as he could... It was the night after his fight, and his body was still really thrashed. She frowned a bit as she looked at him." Isn't there any way you can be healed?"
"I dunno. Best just to wait it out. I'll probably go home to rest the rest of the way tomorrow."
She nodded to that and murmured." Is there anything that you could use to make the resting better?"
"Not that I can think of."
She nodded again and rested her head on his shoulder where he would come to rest his head on her head, both smiling contently.
She turned off the T.V. as she shifted to take his hand." Jin?"
"Yeah, May?" Though he hid behind shades she knew that he was looking right at her.
She turned her gaze up to lock eyes with shades." Did you mean what you said in the Inn..?"
"I wouldn't have said it if I didn't mean it." Someday then... Jin was serious... Someday.
She nodded once more and kissed his chin." Then I suppose I should tell you what this necklace is." She knew she'd have to eventually.
"Okie dokie then." Even when he was in the hospital bed and injured he was quite adorable.
"She shifted to fumble through the necklace. She looked over the silver before she spoke." When you're in trouble I will know. When I'm trouble... You will know."
"Ah, okay. So it's like some sort of... alarm thingie."
SHe nods lightly," I knew when the fight was over. I tried to come as fast as I could."
"Ah... So that explains this urgent feeling I had earlier today." It looked like he was sitting under a lightbulb in that moment," That was your run-in with Chiros."
Nods to him a bit and caresses his cheek." I'm so glad you're alright. "
"I'm so glad you are too." He caresses right back, but finds that he's starting to reach his limit. It's late, and he's pretty thrashed. He'll fall asleep before long...
She stayed by his side. The need to be with him through this important enough to put everything else on pause.
"I'm about to fall asleep. You know that, right?" Even with his shades on she could tell he was very tired.
She nodded to him lightly." I'm very aware of that." She gave a soft chuckle and pulled up his blankets around him. Tucking him in firmly.
"Alright then... Nighty night, babe....I lost the game." And with that, he was out. Even when he was like this, when he was sleeping, he seemed so peaceful by her side. It was relieving and comforting. She was glad to see that he was alright.
She perked a brow to his words and frowned." The game?" Some day she'd ask him, for now she wouldn't leave his side.
