May had been up all night, nudging Jin's face from her ear as he snored. She was thinking, wrinkling her nose and poofing various objects over her to look over. She was trying to figure out what to get her best friend for another year of her mortality. Her nose wrinkled for a moment or two as she drummed her fingers over her arms. Her eyes turned to Jin when he pulled her into his frame and she sighed. Her smile was growing as she watched him sleep. It was possibly the most wonderful thing to her at that moment. A soft kiss was pressed to his forehead before she went on thinking.
Her foot tapped and then her fingers snapped. It wouldn't be something extravagant or over done. Well, maybe a little over done. Never the less, when Darcy woke up she'd find a wild Irish rose in a box awaiting her. Attached to the box would be a card that simply made fun of her best friend for being old. The irony of it all was that they both knew May had a few dozen thousand of years on Darcy. It still didn't stop May from putting Darcy's face on an old, decrepid body of a half dressed woman on a picture in the card. Simply it read:
"You if you grow one year older!"
There was also another card within, it was smaller, roughly the size of a credit card. When she opened it up, that's what she would find. It was fresh and shimmery shiney just for Darcy. The smaller card red,' 25k limit, happy birthday.' What it didn't say was that May would refill it and pay for it for the rest of Darcy's life. Yet, in that moment May was sure that Darcy would survive unlimited shopping.
Slowly she rolled over, her arms folding at Jin's chest while he squeezed her in close to his frame. Her head moved to nestle under his chin where her anual kiss was pressed to his throat. Even as she got comfortable, he acted silent on her behalf.
That was until she started to close her eyes. A loud SNOOORREEE billowed in her ear and she look up at him with a shake head. She was still crazy about the man that shared her bed. Extreamly crazy.
