The sun peeked its way into her room. Spilling across in a warm embrace to bath her face. She groaned and whimpered rolling on her side. Reaching for Shadow. He wasn't there. That caused her to open her eyes. Well then.
Sighing she threw back the covers and climbed out of bed. Not bothering to make it up. Something he'd probably complain about later but she didn't care. It was her room so her rules. So a messy bed it was.
Yawning she combed her fingers through her hair before running a brush through it. Pulling it back in a ponytail and presto she was perfect! Well...Almost. Rubbing the sleep out of her eyes and moving towards their dresser she began opening and closing drawers grabbing clothes here and there. They hadn't been together for too long and already he had a drawer. Not to mention a space in her closet. As well as his crap in the bathroom. Franco said they were moving too fast. But she didn't know any better.
Like a snake wiggling out of its skin she shed her jammies, leaving them on the floor something else he'd probably complain about, and put on her clothes. Which consisted of a slightly oversized black Avenged Sevenfold band shirt and a pair of hiphugging black shorts. That was all she needed.
Moving to her nightstand she picked up her pack of smushed cloves and Zippo. He was trying to break her of the habit but wasn't having much luck. If she didn't have to worry about lung cancer or her liver anymore why give it up? Lighting the clove between her lips she inhaled as she stuffed the pack and Zippo into her pocket.
Finally she was ready to face the world! Opening the door to her room she stepped out closing it behind her. It was oddly quiet. What time was it? More than likely May was out with Jin and David was running around with Ryan somewhere. That was just fine with her. She just wondered where Shadow was.
Ashing her clove on the floor, something she did to piss off May they were marble floors after all, she made her way into the kitchen. Humming to herself and finally turning on the radio blaring some Misfits she got the eggs, flour, sugar, milk, vanilla extract, cocoa and all the other goodie ingredients brownies required. She needed to get back into the swing of things.
The big mixing bowl was set on the counter as she took a drag and no measuring required she dumped the ingredients into the bowl and with her big wooden spoon began mixing away. Smiling and laughing cause honestly she didn't know anyone who made brownies from scratch anymore. Grinning as she finished the mixing process and poured it all onto a greased baking sheet. The oven was opened and the sheet slid in. She set it to bake and gave the spoon a lick. Delicious.
Dancing around her kitchen making a mess as the Awesomeness continued to make brownies. One of her favorite pastimes. And they were to die for.
