The package would arrive via courier, left at the front doors of Jello HQ. It was a very small package, wrapped in plain red paper with a black bow. A small tag hanging off the side addressed it to Darcy.
A small note was folded just inside, written in a careful hand on ridiculous stationary with little stars around the edges.

As new as I am here, I always think a birthday should not pass unappreciated! So, happy one-year-older day. I hope this gift is suitable; I didn't know what else to get you, to be honest. It's not much, but I think it will get some good use.

Beneath the note wrapped in black tissue paper was a silver Zippo lighter, engraved with an Old English style D on one side, and a couple of music notes on the other. The bottom of the box held some extra flint and fluid, as well as three fresh packs of cloves. Darcy was still the only other one she had seen smoking the things at the Inn, so share and share alike, right?
