Years. It had been so many years. Her feet had been leaving footprints on the ground being blown away with the winds of time for as long back as she could remember.

She felt oh so weary. She was tired of the weight on her shoulders. Even her trip to Earth had only provided a temporary relief. Coming back to Rhy?Din had just added more weight to her shoulders.

Yes she had missed her friends and family dearly. But it was almost too much. She felt like this weight was crushing her entire being. It was time to leave. It was time to get away. She needed an extended vacation. Time to herself; alone in her thoughts where she could reassess everything in her life.

And so it was then that she said a teary goodbye to all of her friends and family. Tears in those forest depths as she promised she would be back. Receiving promises from friends and family alike to look out for one another while they were gone. She did not know when she would be back. However she knew she would indeed be back. With one final glance behind her to the Rhy?Din she had come to live she turned on her heel and left.

For any normal mortal what may seem like an eternity of walking to them was just a short walk for her. For days she let her feet carry her. No real destination in mind. Only stopping to eat when she was starving. Only stopping to sleep when she was to the point of sleep walking.

However she kept pushing on. The only clear thought in her mind was to get away. She saw many things on this journey that was leading no where. Many different faces fading into the back of her mind. The only thing she really took notice of was the plants and animals around her. How long had it been since she had slept under the stars? Listened to the sounds that the plane provided? A smile touching at the edge of her lips. Her eyes closing as she listened to the music that Rhy?Din naturally made. Everywhere around her was a song waiting to be hummed, heard, and sung. It was then she finally began to feel peaceful.

Eventually she found herself heading more north to colder climates. Somehow she knew deep in her heart that this is where she needed to be. This is the direction she needed to be heading.

The world around her grew colder. However she really did not seem to notice. 'Stop.' Her mind told her as her feet touched the edge of a small northern village. 'Rest for now.' Was the second thought. A small smile appeared on her face, "Yes." She agreed.

The villagers welcomed her with open arms and smiles. It had been many cycles since they had received a visitor. And she seemed so unique to them.

Her skin white as the snow. Her eyes the color of a distant forest they had only heard of whispered in tales. And hair the color of fire blazing with so much life. She possessed the body of a woman in her prime young in years. Yet however looking deep into those eyes was an infinite sadness and the whisper of a soul that had been around for far longer than any of them.

The language they spoke was pure music to her ears. The way they spoke those lovely words in their tongue filled her with more warmth than the fire they were sitting at could provide. Touched with so much happiness that they could not comprehend.

It was then she began to learn their ways and make herself comfortable with the people. They were humanoid in appearance yet there was something very unique about them as well. Physically they all had youthful pure faces. Their skin even paler than hers. Their eyes a lovely shade of icy blue. The males had hair the color of fresh snow. The women's hair consisted of a color similar to their eyes yet a softer shade of icy blue. There were slight differences in the curve of their frames and their bone structure that showed they weren't completely human. They moved with a grace that reminded her of the lycanthropes back at home yet theirs seemed to be just a bit different. More graceful that it brought tears to her eyes.

And it was with these people that she finally began to find peace.

It was with these people that she began to finally take control of her abilities. With nothing but sound of the frigid wind she would abandon all clothing and sit in that cold snow. First forcing herself to not be bothered with the elements no matter how distracting they might be. Once she was able to eliminate that distraction she began to have better control on her telepathy and telekinesis.

For hours she would sit with the villagers in silence as she improved her concentration and meditation skills. Now she was able to call upon her abilities and control them with an iron will. She learned among these people how to protect her mind and body from negative and unwanted attacks.

She discovered the extent of her abilities of what she was and of her dragon form as well. Time must have sped by however it seemed as if time did not matter in this place.

Finally it was with a clear mind and a better understanding on what she is and what her abilities are that she said her farewells. Confident she would be better use to her friends and family she made her way back to the Rhy'Din she loved. However it was during this time of seeking herself that her physical appearance had changed. Though she herself did not realize it those who knew her well would know it soon enough.
