Things had seemed off in her home of Rhy'Din lately. Then again when was there a time when something weird wasn?t happening? This was Rhy?Din after all. However, she could feel it deep within her that something big was happening. Whether or not it was good she hadn?t quite caught onto that yet. This, plus the wedding planning, plus with her beloved fianc? missing the stress was piling up. She had to escape. She had to get out. Just?Away from it all. Only for a little while. Just enough time to clear her head.

Everytime she got into the Bugatti she thanked her lucky stars over and over again for taking that chance. For letting herself be whisked away one night by a handsome devil she hardly knew. It was a gamble she knew that. Just like winning this car was a gamble. She smiled everytime the engine roared. She loved the feel of the leather steering wheel beneath her hands. She relished in the control of shifting gears effortlessly. She had quickly fallen in love with the piece of machinery.

She often drove with no particular destination in mind. It felt good to be so?Free. The top down with the wind in her air and Ol? Blue Eyes serenading to her. So it was no surprise she had somehow found herself on the Isle. She let the music, wind, and the engine purr take away her dress. Speed was addicting and she was almost always doing that. The world in a blur fading around her she was almost concerned when it was swallowed up by darkness.

When she had finally awoken she was still sitting in the car. Parked on the beach of the Isle. Rubbing the sleep from her eyes as she stared out to the vast ocean. Looking to her left she saw a blonde woman running and fading into the distance. It wasn?t a particular strange occurrence so she shrugged it off. Starting up the engine once more she decided she had been out long enough and drove the Bugatti home. Little did she know that something quite drastic had happened in that amount of time she had not be conscious.

?In this world, is the destiny of mankind controlled by some transcendental entity or law? Is it like the hand of God hovering above? At least it is true that man has no control; even over his own will.? ? Berserk

This was her world and it was just the way she liked it. Here she nor others had to hide what they were. Here was a place where one could freely show their true colors. This world full of chaos, destruction, and anarchy. Her reality where mortals worshipped on their hands and knees crying out her name for deliverance from their pitiful suffering. It was a time of paradise as she ruled from her rightful place. Lives were sacrificed in her holy name and life was given anew to those who deserved a second chance.

The world was Rhy?Din alright. But it was a different flavor of Rhy?Din. After a long day of mortals being sacrificed she had retired to her chambers. Weary and looking forward to the day ahead. She busied herself with the pleasures that Rhy?Din had to offer. And oh were there one and many. She always seemed to get what she desired. She was never challenged nor did anyone dare to speak against her. She wielded her power like a weapon and she wielded it very well. With a smile on her face she fell into a deep slumber welcoming the darkness that swallowed her world.

A dream. She had them often. This one in particular. It was her?Only the hair was crimson and wavy. The twin she never knew, possibly? This woman was a far cry of what she was. Bubbly, happy, sweet, and full of positivity. Showing remorse for those she accidentally killed. Always trying to be the hero. It made her sick. Her stomach churned at the thought of it. Why wouldn?t she embrace the task and charge she was given willingly? Who would dare to shy away from being blessed in this way? It puzzled and infuriated her.

When she woke the sky was strange above her. The Isle. Only? This wasn?t her Isle. She sat up and saw a monstrous red piece of metal she could only assume was some type of machinery. And there? In the seat was that pitiful creature she dreamed of often. For the first time in eons she felt some type of emotion and it wasn?t good. She saw the woman stir and before the woman could come to she was off running to the distance. What had happened? Where was she? Why was her reality suddenly torn away? She knew she could find answers at the Red Dragon Inn and that is where she headed.

Yesterday had been weird. Then again her life was full of weirdness. But this was more weird than her usual dose of weirdness. After she had arrived home she parked the car and decided to take a nap after looking over and playing with her hatchling siblings. A nap was a great idea after her puzzling black out. There was usually causes of such things. This for some reason didn?t have a cause. That is what bothered her. Putting the thoughts aside she fell into her bed and was immediately swept off in her dreams.

Only these dreams quickly turned to nightmares. She saw herself but only it didn?t seem like herself. The twin she saw in her dream was blonde, cruel, cold, and ruthless. Cutting down any who opposed. Weeding out the weaklings. Keeping those deemed worthy and strong enough close to her. The others who managed to be spared were shackled and became slaves. There was blood, death, and chaos. Rage, sorrow, and mourning. Innocent people were slaughtered only to be brought back and tortured into the same fate. It was troubling and sickening. She could never see herself doing such things.

When she couldn?t bear it anymore she woke up in a cold sweat. Troubled she quickly brushed her hair, dressed, and went to the Inn for a drink. There she encountered her niece Camellia. Her troubled thoughts only deepened when her niece informed her that there was a blonde version of her. Her nightmare come to reality. She smiled and played it off. She even asked her brother Zack if he saw her double to which he said he hadn?t. After a couple of beers she was swept away by the Nexus. She then decided to return later. Perching herself on the bar as always. Keeping guard and keeping watch. She had to see this with her own eyes and figure out what the Hell happened.

Her arrival here hadn?t gone entirely to waste. Slowly trekking her way to the Inn she had inquired about her redheaded counterpart who plagued her dreams. Some answers were helpful and others not so much. Soon she found herself at the Red Dragon Inn. It was much like the Inn back at home in her Rhy?Din. She hadn?t had much time to get a gauge on her surroundings when a young girl clung to her and called her ?Aunty Darcy.? After a few protests she decided to use this to her advantage. Maybe she could get some information.

Coming up with a clever ploy of acting as if the Nexus had wiped her memory and changed her hair color she asked the girl for information. She didn?t get much. What she did get was the name of Icer Shimmerscale. The Shimmerscales back in her Rhy?Din were mere pets. And here her counterpart was their adopted kin? Disgusting. She then learned that her counterpart was engaged? Foolish woman. A demi-Goddess has no need to tie herself down. It filled her with loathing and rage. She would need to dispose of this weakling as soon as she could get her hands around her throat.

Things did look up with a dashing pirate by the name of Diritas engaged her in conversation. After some coaxing, conversation about his ship, and flirtation she managed to secure a place for her to sleep for the night and to share his bed. He even offered her services. She had an inkling of what he was after and she would willingly give it to him. His assistance would bring her one step closer to her double?s demise. She did enjoy his company and giving up the pursuit for one day wouldn?t kill her. After all time is always on her side and of no consequence to her.

Things were getting weird. She'd finally met her. She'd finally encountered this double of hers after hearing about her from various sources. It was very unnerving. This woman...Was nothing like her. It was like all of the warmth and kindness had died within her eons ago. It filled her with sorrow and mourning and yet she was counting her lucky stars it hadn't happened to her.

That night with mama at her side her double had made it very clear on what she wanted. That was her...Well more so her life. Well to be more specific her death her true death in order to gain her power. She felt and tasted what they could be. And oh man did it feel so damn good. She was almost tempted to say yes. To finally float in that abyssal silence and not have to worry about coming back to start a new life.

But the news that her counterpart had slain the version of her best friend in her reality wounded her. They'd been together through thick and thin for ages and were closer than any sister related by blood could be. Why? Why would she do such a thing? They were each other's yin and yang carefully balancing each other out in perfect harmony. A life without her would be no life at all just as a life without Ven would not be worth living.

Gathering up her courage she reminded her blonde counterpart that this was not her reality. That those she had slain still walked full of life here. That an attempt to do away with her would have quite the number of clans, friends, and alliances breathing down her neck. She did not condone unnecessary slaughter and that is what it would be. Hundreds nay thousands against one. Oh her counterpart was powerful but she knew that even with that many against her there was no victory in sight.

After a few more hisses and threats her counterpart had left with her tail between her legs. Now...She had to prepare herself. A talk with a certain pirate became and agreement to capture her blonde counterpart and keep her from harming others thus ending many lives. She would keep to her word and if the man kept up his end of the deal she would tell all she knew what a honorable man he is. Oh how she wished her loving Ven was there. With him they could travel to her blonde's reality and do away with her even before she fathomed the thought of coming her. But...That wouldn't make her any better than that monster now would it?

"Wake up (why can't you) and face me (come one now),
Don?t play dead (don't play dead)
Cause maybe (because maybe)
Someday I?ll (someday I'll) walk away and say, ?You disappoint me,?
Maybe you?re better off this way" - A Perfect Circle Passive

Weak, pathetic, and powerless. That's what popped into her mind when the thought of her counterpart ran through her mind. It made her stomach churn and filled her with disgust and loathing. How could such a woman be loved by so many? Love was a weakness. Why did she need such a foolish emotion? All that she needed was fear and worship from those lesser than her.

Along the ways in her travels and getting familiar with this certain perception of reality she stumbled upon a rather dashing man by the name of Mister R. Some clever flirtation had them embracing hungrily in the back alley in no time. A man straight to the point he inquired of her what it was she wanted. She needed allies and if he could help her well why not? Willingly she told the truth for him and they struck a deal. Things were looking up as she went to his bed for that night.

Though...Like all good things it all must come to a crashing end sooner or later no? Sometime after she encountered the pirate she had first met another dashing handsome man by the name of Diritas. She had certainly enjoyed her time spent on his ship.

He finally had some good news or so she thought. He showed her a pretty silver trinket which he assured her would be able to easily track her counterpart. She of course needed to wear it for a couple of days in order for the hound to get a hold of the scent. By this time her current lover had joined them as they went over the technicalities of the whole thing. She at least was skeptical and used her own abilities to ensure this wasn't some sort of a trick. Mister R advised her to be patient. Though she had all the time in the world with the temptation of that unleashed power soon to be hers she was impatient.

That was her downfall. Once she had put on the bracelet it worked its magick. His soul reaching out to bind hers. It was a sickening feeling along with the burn she felt. Oh fire she was used to. But this...Binding this servitude being held back. That is what irritated the piss out of her. She struggled and fought but all in vain as the motive, emotions, and idea of her original plan was seemingly sucked out of her. She felt...Calm and serene. At ease and peaceful. Now filled with this damnable urge to help those in need and take care of baby dragonlings?

That in itself irritated her but try as she might her will simply prevented her from carrying out her original plan. A major setback. But...That is what it was. A setback. Maybe with the help of Mister R who kindly did not leave her side they could work together to achieve her goal. Maybe they could find a way to undo this hold placed on her and she could help her lover with his goal along the way. It could work out for the both of them. They could even go riding off into the sunset together. Yeah and she was Cleopatra. But...She was determined to fix this at all costs and get what she came for.

?I know the pieces fit 'cause I watched them tumble down
No fault, none to blame, it doesn't mean I don't desire to

To bring the pieces back together, rediscover communication? ? Tool Schism

The pirate had done her a favor. A huge favor in fact. Therefore she was in his debt. Being the type of person she is she asked him what he wanted. And he gave her a task. A task to dispose of his brother. It seemed simple enough. But nothing is ever as easy as it seems. As coincidence and luck would have it the Nexus dropped her on him quite literally.

Ventus was his name. A cute enough kid. After she recovered from her fall it was then she found out the truth. Or at least as much as she could find out. What she found out didn?t really please her. Diritas had left out a few important details. Darcy was very dedicated to her charge and the job she was given. A half of a soul. A half of a soul wouldn?t please Hades and in her eyes it was worthless since it was not a full soul. The other half? In the pirate of course. In order to obtain the full soul and maintain her quota she would have to dispose of them both. Which made her word to the pirate null and void because there was no mention of doing away with him.

So?They were at an impasse. They tried to talk it out and negotiate but alas it was not meant to be. Such a pity because if she could have avoided all of this the better. But she had given her word. With her word she would not break it. Thus she would carry out the task given to her. Ventus better prepare for their next encounter because it was guaranteed to be a lot more violent and bloody.

?Tell me who you are. I am spellbound
You cannot have this control on me
Everywhere I go I am spellbound
I will break the spell you put on me? ? Lacuna Coil Spellbound

Well? This was the pits to say the least. A cat declawed. Oh her abilities were still there. She just didn?t have access to them. All thanks to her foolishness, the dashing pirate, and her meddling counterpart. But on the bright side there was Mister R. The man was charming and handsome enough. Him warming her bed did distract her and sometimes she forgot how miserable she had become. In fact it was on such a day where she had enjoyed his company multiple times in a row that her peace was shattered by the redhead. It was urgent she said. She needed to be seen immediately.

Though she didn?t want to she really didn?t have a choice. That pissed her off. Her choices and abilities being stripped away. So she heeded the woman?s reply and met up with her at the Inn. There she heard the task that Darcy was given and Diritas was there to confirm it. At least she was given her abilities to carry out this task. So she would follow along like an obedient puppy with her tail between her legs bitching the whole way.

A few days later she had encountered the target in the Marketplace. He was?Interesting to say the least. Like her counterpart she told him how half of a soul was worthless to them. Using her charms and entranced by his sweetness she revealed how she really didn?t want to destroy him. He then proposed to free her. Now there was a temptation she couldn?t turn away from. After revealing her goal and giving her word she wouldn?t harm any innocents in exchange for her dropping the mission of trying to kill him he did indeed free her.

It felt so good. To be herself and whole again. Like her counterpart she informed him now she was indebted to him and he need only to say the word and she would help him after she had fulfilled her goal. He intrigued her to say the least. She wouldn?t admit to it outloud but in that one meeting she felt a certain?Fondness for him. A feeling of understanding really. She was curious as to how things were going to go now that she was back to her old self again.

She had been so busy and so distracted lately that the thought of her counterpart was far from her mind. There was the wedding, her family, her friends, her brownies, the Jello Wrestling League, and so many other things cluttering up her mind.

It was a bit...Strange and queer that she had not heard from the blonde. Things were going peacefully. Hell even on the up and up. She was counting her lucky stars especially after having been able to spend some time with her beloved. Things were finally starting to look up again. She was finally giving herself some time to breath.

Oh how she was wrong. So there she was with her family and BFF. And who comes waltzing in? Why the blonde of course. A good day was ruined upon seeing her. She decided to remain quiet because May had not seen her. So she would let the woman have her dramatics before leaving. Quietly observing she did note that a certain silver trinket was missing from the woman's wrist. Well it seemed the shit was now hitting the fan.

After she had left and before her brother whisked away the Mayday the Awesomeness told her firmly she would not sit idly by whilst May took care of this. This was her mess. She should have a part in the cleanup. She felt it was only right and fair after all.

"I've been a bad bad girl
I've been careless with a delicate man
And it's a sad sad world
When a girl will break a boy
Just because she can
Don't you tell me to deny it
I've done wrong and I want to
Suffer for my sins
I've come to you 'cause I need
Guidance to be true
And I just don't know where I can begin" - Fiona Apple Criminal

Oh she had been a bad bad girl indeed. Breaking her word to Mister R first by taking a lovely sweet girl to her bed. In her defense she wanted the girl to come to their bed but had to give her a test run. Then there was the Lupe which she had used to get to the Demon whom she still hoped to sway into her cause. She needed allies after all and she would do whatever she could to gain such allies.

Too bad it was all work and no play otherwise she might have enjoyed it. Though...None have been able to cause a reaction such as the half soul man. That day in the marketplace when all they shared was a kiss yet she had never felt so filled nor had been able to fill someone up like that before. It fascinated and frightened her.

Mister R had found out about her trysts, not that she had made an effort to hide them, and punished her rightfully so. How she did like a good punishing every now and then. Reminded her that she could still feel physical pain at least.

And then there was her encounter with Celestina. Oh how the woman looked very good and very much alive. She said her words laced with warnings and threats and left. She would heed Mister R's suggestion and bide her time. Wait until the perfect opportunity to strike so she could finally achieve her long desired goal.

"If you hadn't met me, I'd be fine on my own, baby
Never felt so lonely, then you came along
So now what should I do,
I'm strung out, addicted to you
My body aches, now that you're gone
My supply fell trough" - Akira Yamaoka You're Not Here

It all seemed to happen so fast. Her arrival. Their words. The battle. She was so confident. Too confident. That confidence was her downfall. She thought she felt her touch as darkness ate up her world but she wasn't too sure. First, sound rushed into her ears. That was how she knew she was no longer in Rhy'Din. Secondly, it certainly smelled different. And finally...It looked different. One look of the place and she knew where she was.

One look to seeing Riven's back turned on her nearly broke what heart she had left. The all mighty father was staring down at her in anger and disappointment. Poseidon looked as if he couldn't wait for the bloodshed. That didn't surprise her at all. Slight movement would reveal that she was chained and oh they had brought out the special chains for her. She at this point was little more than a mortal chained down. Her powers not available to her at the moment. A sigh then as she looked around, "Shall we get on with this dance then? I don't have all day you know..."

She said rather dryly as she waited for the event to begin. The event that would decide if she would ultimately live or die.

Sure she stood with her back to Devin, but with reason. She was looking to her uncle with desperation as he eyed Devin.

"Uncle please, please, don't kill her. Don't." She begged desperately as she looked between both figures. They were far more powerful than she was, but she wouldn't stop at anything to protect Devin.

When Devin spoke, she tensed and lowered her head. Her eyes closed and she stepped to the side, letting Devin get a better glimpse of what they were against. There were several there, including the higher officials. They were all taking her in as if she had only moments left to breathe.

She did not see the look Riven was giving them. At this point she considered it to be her against the world. When Riven moved aside she put on her best sweet face and batted her eyelashes at them all, "I know I have been a very very naughty girl. I am so sorry from the bottom of my heart. I will accept whatever judgement you pass without complaint. I am quite literally on my knees and at your mercy. I only beg of you to spare my insignificant life."

She had spoken her piece. Sweetly and honestly. She could only hope and pray for them to be merciful upon her soul. Forest hues slid over Riven for a instant. She pondered what was going through that pretty head of hers.
