It was a lovely summer evening. The sun had just set and with a slight breeze in the air and no chance of rain it was perfect. After all of the planning and time it had finally come to this. The Awesomeness looked magnificent dressed in the white wedding gown that her good friend Mai had lovingly designed. It was all lovely from the hair to the makeup, heels, and even her nails. Though she had been looking forward to this moment since she first had said yes she was still nervous. Butterflies were fluttering in her stomach. This was the first step on the road of their life together. She still wore the Valentine's day gift he'd given her. A thin gold chain with a glass pendant that held a star within it. It glittered in the dim light along with the engagement ring on her finger. Taking the bouquet of red and white roses with baby's breath she took a deep breath before stepping out. It was time to walk down the aisle and say her vows. Time to get hitched!

{OOC: I know for the longest time I said this was going to be a live event. However, due to schedule conflicts with Ven-mun and I we've decided to make it a forum event. Here you can post your character's reactions if they attended. BTW if you think your character wasn't invited don't think that. Everyone and their dog in Rhy'Din was invited to this wedding so anyone can post! Thanks guys!}

The place was so packed that Robert Cath ended up giving the last open chair to his wife, Donna, and perching himself on the pot of a very large potted fern. He might not spend much time in Rhy'din anymore, but no way in hell was he going to miss this.

And? Since everyone and their dog was invited? Wrapped around his wrist was a leash, with the large and ever-excited Max straining at the end of it.

"Think this is something like what you'd want to have?" He whispered to Donna, peering around curiously at the decor and the wedding party. They'd eloped quietly months back, but never got around to having the ceremony.

Then the music started, and they rose to their feet. Robert felt his heart swell in reflected happiness for his friend as she started walking down the aisle. They may not have seen each other for a long while, but as far as Cath was concerned, she and her husband-to-be were still friends--and if the basket of fresh eggs and home-grown vegetables on the gift table was any indication, welcome to anything he could provide.

The ceremony itself was beautiful--although he swears he didn't cry. Not one single tear. Just leaned further and further into Donna as it went on.

He did end up cringing in embarrassment behind the potted plant, though, once. Sorry about that.

"...Speak now, or forever hold their peace!"

"WOOF!" cried Max.
