Andu's been toying with the idea of a "signet" ring to pass out to willing members of his extended adoptied family.

As a signet ring, the design would be reverse engraved... ie.. the black parts would be sunken in, so when pressed into wax to seal a missive, the pattern would then be raised.

Here is the idea. The 3 symbols, from upper left to upper right to lower, are:
Japanese Hiragana for Ki, International symbol for emergency exit (or a portal, according to Lalen };-) ), The symbol for Apis (Fera, White Wolf Storyteller game system).
