It wasn't soon after the whole affair started that silent and harmless explosions of silvery firefly sparkles started going off all across the city. Each one would be found to be centered around Kirost Enterprises facilities and equipment. By far the largest number would from RTS trains on their regular routes and carrying non-humans being attacked in attempts to kill the riders. The explosions transported those riders to the RTS main station and the Safe Haven there.
But that didn't end the explosions. Each vehicle would return, sans riders, to continue on their routes in case others needed transportation out of the chaos.

A half hour after the attack each disappearing train would be replaced by a small tank like drone bearing a single large caliber weapon in a universal turret. The weapon might look fearsome, but when it started firing at the attackers, what it fired would be revealed to be large packets of phosphorescent paint in a pastel rainbow of colors. The paint would prove to have amazing adherence qualities making it almost impossible to remove from either skin, clothes, or equipment.
