Alex ran with the dragon mist. His tiger form faster than human. Once at the keep the tiger pushed the door open with strong paws. As he ran in, his form changed back to human. He was clearly excited. "Azure! Azure!" He called out. "Azure! Come on, when I don't want you around, you're always there, and when I do, you're not! Azure!"

"Alex, quit your shouting. I'm right here." The shimmering mist taking on the form of the dragon as it dissipated. "What's got your fur in a ruffle?"

"I need you to do something for me." He said turning into the direction of the dragons voice. "I need a dragon gem. A delicate one."

"Ahh. So that's it. I take it, that it is for the woman who sent you the music box. So, I was right. There is more to this." She teased.

"She's different, Azure. She is not human. It must be able to change with her."

"Well, perhaps if you tell me what she is."

"She's a shadow fox. I never heard of one before. But she is beautiful. So soft to touch, and she has wings." Azure eyes were wide. She had not heard of them for many years, and assumed they were lost forever. Her voice was softer as she spoke. "Alex. Are you sure that is what she is?" He was puzzled by her question. "Yes, I am sure. Why?"

Azure decided it was best not to let him question any more. "Because, I now know what enchantment to put on it. Do not trouble your mind. I will have it for you by this evening and you can take it to her. It would be best that you tell her in person how to use it. Now go, busy yourself till I finish." Her form was surrounded by mist, and she was gone.

Azure carefully picked the stones. A bit of sapphire, and a bit of amethyst, the symbols of Azure Rose Keep. Taking them back to her lair, she melded them together, forming the delicate tear drop. The eyelet of it surrounded by silver, and placed on a delicate silver chain. She spoke her own tongue and breathed mist into the stone. It was that part of her that would bring Shey to the keep. She set to the task of the enchantment, remembering one of long ago and spoke it quiet and gently. The necklace glowed for only a moment. After hours of work, Azure was finished.

Alex was in the gardens, his favorite part of the keep. He was sitting near the stream that flowed through it when Azure spoke. "Here it is." Alex couldn't see as it floated on the mist to him. "Hold out your hand." As he did, the necklace gently set down in his palm. He touched it, felt it. "Azure, it's beautiful." He felt the mist surround him. "Now go. Take it to her."

Azure let out a soft sigh after she heard the door close. "I must rest." The making of the gem takes a toll on her. After all, she was no youngling. She smiled as she curled up. It pleased her much to see Alex happy.
