Meanwhile at the lair, the dragon had just woken up, and she grinned, nudging her mate with her snout, "Love.., come on, we don't want to keep our friends waiting."

A grin as she glanced toward her father as well as the golden dragon remained sleeping, you too Daddy, come on!, We're supposed to meet Shey at the Inn.

A soft chuckle as they slept awhile longer, and she shook her head. "Well, I'm gonna head off, perhaps you two can catch up." Wings then unfurled as she glided through the waterfall, getting her morning shower, and off on the breeze she glided, waving down below as she spotted Shey and Dark on their way.

"Wh-wha-what?!" Dark found himself getting steered out of bed. Cause he would've had it to not get ready, or out of bed, 'not on a Saturday!' he'd yell.

But some battles can't be won, so he got as ready as he'd get with a bright green cartoon dragon shirt that wrapped around his build, snug. He didn't get his hand through his hair before he was grabbing up his VMNT Dean six-string on his way out of the bedroom. Blue snakeskin boots? Damn he'd already passed that checkpoint they were at the foot of the bed.

"But babe! Toaster strudels! What about toaster strudels!"

"Okay." he thought, there was still his red white-striped sneakers by the couch in the green room. He steered Shey the detour and slipped his shoes on and was on the walk with her, looking up to those bright white clouds and that bright blue sky before long.
"Doesn't it make you just wanna stretch your wings?" he winked his lovely lashes at her and fanned out some of her primary feathers. Things were in fine color in this spring weather, everything was bright!

He enjoyed the whole walk, and it was almost too short. Inspiring him for fun walks in more scenic routes, maybe some hiking. Looking like he was hanging the foxling down, he was merely holding onto her while they walk. Fruit-talk was enticing as it could be, oh yey the bountifulness and color quality on this fine day to go grocery shopping. But he was puzzled thinking of whelps.

"Ummm, humancrackers?" he shrugged behind a comical grin.

The 'Dora the Explorer' fanfare band had showed up and Dark smiled, a task complete or near completion apparently. Arriving on the frontstep of the inn the little blue frog with his drum, the snail with his symbols, and the grasshopper with the old R&B shaker. Aurthur started awake and looked about. Not seeing his mate, he cursed loudly. Working on the cave had exhausted him, and he had overslept. Nudging Aurok, he ran out of the cave and lept through the waterfall, taking to the air in a hurry. He had promised his mate that he would go shopping with her, and he NEVER broke a promise to her.
After flying so quickly, he reached the Inn in record time, spiraling slowly down to the ground to settle next to his mate. "I'm sorry I'm late, my beloved, I got here as fast as I could. Aurok should hopefully be right behind me so we can get this shopping trip started."

A smile was given as her mate landed beside her, and she stole a kiss, and cuddled into his wing a bit as she waited patiently for her father to arrive. A glance back to Dark and Shey, then a chuckle was given as she felt the thud, attention turning to her father. "Your late daddy...", she couldn't help but give a grin, knowing full well that he'd been soundly sleeping when she had left the lair. "I hope Aurthur didn't wake you."

On the porch of the inn perhaps a hundred feet from the assembled masses, an off duty guardsman caught snatches of their conversation on the breeze. This could be a bad thing.. He decides to follow the group as they move off towards the marketplace.

Stealing another kiss from her mate, she gave a chuckle, "Of course my love, just make sure to keep an eye on Daddy" Giving her father a wink as she waddled after Shey, talons clicking on the ground.

Tom had never really trusted dragons, and so many of them in one place made him very nervous. So there he was following the five of them, listening to the snatches of conversation floating on the wind and trying not to be noticed.

"Children? Does this band plan on attacking the orphan's concert in the market along with robbing the merchants?" The watchmen shook his head and just kept following, having no idea that he was mishearing so much.

She followed Shey into the bookseller's tent, blinking as she heard the mother screaming, there were three dragons after all, and blue eyes blinked, as she looked back toward the hysterical woman.

From outside another called out, the usual little boy that tugged on his mother's arm whenever she was around. "Mommy, mommy! look! theres dragons!"

A grunt given as she heard the child, every time, it never failed, she looked back to her mate and father, then to Shey and finally to the quiet Dark.

Aurok took that moment in time to stomp hard on his son-in-laws foot, and rather hard too, hissing under his breath. "Shut up you fool child! Your going to make this situation a hundred fold worse. The best thing to do is to try and reason with them. " Aurok was definately showing his age and his experience now. Though the larger towering red male was intimidating, and he looked particularly scary because he only had one eye, but he was being the voice of reason (for once) trying to gain control of the situation.

"Good people, I can assure you that no one in our group attacked anyone. We are just out on the town to try and gather books and toys for children and grandchildren. This dragoness here," Motioning to his daughter. "Is pregnant, and expecting to lay her eggs very soon, and wants to get some toys for her children. Is there really any problem with that?"

She gave a rumble, moving closer to her mate, one eye back to Shey while the other kept watch over the crowd, the last thing she needed was to be injured by the mass riot that seemed to be happening all because they descided to go shopping. Taking her eye off Shey then, she looked toward her father, "Daddy, I don't think they're listening.."

::With the crowds growing fury, Aurthur's fear, and the instincts to protect his mate and his unborn children fired up. Instead of getting into a position of defense like his father had, Aurthur ground his talons into the dirt, standing in a firm crouch, ready to lead. He growled and hissed, his wings fanning in anticipation of an attack. His tail lashed about wildly, and fire burned within his eyes.::
I wont let any of them harm you, darling. As long as i am here, there isnt anyone thats going to harm you, or our children. If they dare come close, i will rend the flesh from their bones! ::The six runes flared to life under his eyes, the runes symbolizing the elements. The draconic rune of earth flashed brightly, and a slab of earth rose from the ground, protecting the group from the rear.::
