Everything seemed so fresh and green this morning. The catling was fairly certain that the coachman was laughing at her as she hung halfway out the opened window enjoying the fresh air on the ride home from Antonio's gardens, but she just could not bring herself to care.
A bump in the road sent the catling tumbling back in her seat with a giggle. She was already making plans for the days activities. It was going to be a busy day but she wanted to get everything done by sunset.
After the footman had helped her from the carriage and they had drivven off again she hurried into the house calling for the nanny "Lia! Lia! How long do you think it will take to get the girls packed for an extended journey?"
The little kender nanny and the cubs were tumbling about on the kitchen rug when the catling found them. It was a nice homey domestic sight and almost made the catling reconsider.
Liabetta smiled at Kina " Maybeaboutanhour. Theyarestillmostlypackedfromtheseaside" One who was not familiar with the speach patterns of excited kender might find that hard to interpret, especially as she continued with the barest of breaths "Sowherearewetakingthelittleones? SomeplaceexciteinganddangerousIhope?"
Kina just laughed softly and smiled a secrative smile. "Im taking them to an enchanted palace in the mountains, where a handsome merchant prince is going to spoil us outrageously." With that shes moving off out of the kitchen and heading for the stables.
"Ou! Where are you?" The catling called as soon as she stepped through the doors. The age old china man immediatly popped into sight hanging from his knees in the hayloft.
"Ahh good morning Miss Kina! What can I do for you this fine day?"
"Ou do you think you will be alright running things here without me for a while? The girls and I are taking a trip." even as she stated this the catling was moving over to one of the stalls to stroke the soft velvety nose of one of the pegasi.
"Of course Miss Kina." the old man smiled. "Where will we send for you should we need you?"
"The Falconne Estate. I'll leave directions in the office." A final pat to the pegasi and the catling was again on the move, stepping back out into the sunshine just in time to see Wisper arrive.
"I got your message Aunt Kina." the stary haired girl handed over another of those blue and sliver gift bags "What did you need done?"
"I need a shadowpass set, from here to Antonio's gardens in the city.. that only family can use." The catling rummages through the contents of the bag, pleased to note a third peice of the promised jewel set. "I would like the entrance set in the nursery. Can you do it?"
Wisper smiled and nodded. "Of course" and without even waiting she set off to the nursery to work.
Kina set off once again. This time to her own rooms to begin her packing. The coachman had promised to return this afternoon and she wanted to be ready. "I do hope Antonio enjoys this little suprise."
