Jewell had a set of two dozen roses sent to the Countess Tara Longden, her best friend forever, in the mid-afternoon. She made sure that she was sending edible flowers--made of chocolate and hard-candy--knowing her best friend's habit of sticking everything she comes across in her mouth. Attached to the glass vase the flowers came in was the following note:

Tara,

I'm sorry things got out of hand last night. I do appreciate your efforts in trying to make me happy. Please do not push Tass into an awkward situation, though. I will not be dating or marrying him and he knows this. I'm just not ready to fully give up Skyler yet, but I'm working on it.

I still love you and you're still my bestest friend ever. Can we still do spa day?
