~She stood in the middle of the great library, slowly turning in a circle, her already wide eyes even brighter. She was always in awe each time she entered this room. ~

~The circular room stood four floors high, on each floor stood shelves that still smelt of the hard wood they were made from. Shelves that covered every bit of the wall, curving with it's circular pattern, reaching high and so grand that most of the shelves needed one of the rolling crafted ladders to reach most of the books.~

~Books ran from thick to thin, leather to wood, laced in gold lettering to no outside print at all. If one paid close enough attention, as Lica did, each book even had it's own smell, a life it once lived all it's own.~

~The elfling moved past the mix of heavy and elegant pillowed chairs and sofas that filled the center of the room as she carried a fat book to the massive fireplace along the northern wall. She admired the tables and desks that hosted ordainments, inks, parchments and items from every corner of the world and even a few planes. Magical flames hinted here and there, fading or growing to fit the readers mood.~

~With both hands she pulled a heavy white leathered book off of the shelf and into her small slim arms. Holding it to her chest, because it helped carry it, she walked across the softest, thickest , most "plushyestest" midnight blue carpet she had yet to find or feel between her toes. Soon, she feels just the right amount of heat from the fire and she settles down to the floor next to an oversized pillow.~

~Allowing a happy little sigh, she opened the book with the soft sound of creaking leather bind and began to read. soon enough she would be sprawled out, lost in the chapters and folds of the story with in...
