Encounter 1: Arrival
Rhy'Din. Early hours of the morning...
A surge of power cracked and tore through the ground, the grass and soil in tow being flung high into the air and to only be deposited and charcoaled into molecules of dust upon the way down before it even hit the floor by an invisible and tremendous force, covering the area in a light choking black mist that seemed to thicken at the core of such an enormous surge of power? It was like dropping a napalm bomb atop of a land made of chocolate.
Whatever it was, the center of the dust was giving off bolts of arching black energy that bored deep into the ground and cracking it open like a spoon to an eggshell, whipping out up into the air when it reached a good sizeable distance from the core and then disintegrating into nothing upon the touch of the dark blackened clouds above? Which oddly seemed to swirl at the sudden change in energies, it had caused the wind to shift sharply away from the center of the rising dust?
Another burst of light lit up the night sky and there in the clouds for the moment were marks of the pentagram glowing in two particular colours of scarlet and blue, etched in the vapors as a solid line until...
Ka-boooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo ooooom!
The sound was deafening and the light that followed brought the night sky into daylight for several seconds. The bolts of dark energy that skimmed the clouds crossed and interacted mid-flight ? sparkling at each other in a frantic dance of lights with showers of tiny red fires in response upon the crossfire lightly floating down aimlessly in all directions. Wherever the wind would take the fires and whatever it would touch...
It died? The trees burned, the grass crumbled and the animals fell dead...
Rotting away to a black ooze, bubbling away into nothing.
Out she came from the settling dust like some lumbering zombie.
Naked.
Slow.
Robotic.
Black hair.
Henrietta Crystal had arrived in Rhy?Din and now, she had someone to hunt.
Before the dying energy subsided there was one clear message echoing out in the sinews and threads of energy displayed here for all and anyone to pick up:
'Today, you are mine, Lucy.'
