Quietly Brian made his way to the Den once more. The renovations had gone well, and truth be told it looked like a completely new building. Gone was the dark and eerie exterior and in it's place was a more moderned european visage. The moat had been dug deeper, and was now bright and clear and filled with various types of fish. The surrounding woods had been cut down and dorms were being constructed as well as a new stable and play yard. It was all going smoothly.

Brian however was not here for business. With a small bucket of water and brush in one hand and a small rectangular box in the other, Brian made his way inside and followed the familiar path he had taken a few times before and soon was standing before the graves of Renna, Emma and Kouta. Setting the box down, Brian used the water and brush and cleaned off the tombstones one by one.

After a bit of time, Brian kneeled and offered a silent prayer for each and then stood slowly. Opening the box, he pulled two long stemmed roses. One was red with no thorns, and other was a dark violet with thorns for good measure. Setting the red rose on Emma's grave, Brian nodded a moment and then set the violet rose atop Renna's grave. "Yeah Ren, I didn't think ya wanted something too pretty, so I left ya the thorns. Well Happy Mother's Day ladies. Lucy is doing well despite the set back we had this week. Anyways, I need to go. This isn't really my bag.."

Making his way back outside, he smiled and looked to the sky. With all the woods surrounding the old Fortress cut down, the entire area looked
brighter and provided an amazing view. Recovering his horse, Brian was soon headed for home.
