The Den of Shadows.

Yet again this place was being used for the purpose it was being built. Brian's workers had not completely finished the conversion from the Fortress to school and well... The Den at least got a more mordern look.
The Main Upper Hall was plastered and well... White. It seemed more brighter, some candles were lit for better visability - and this theme continued down this Hall towards the decending staircase that let to the Underground Passageway which seemed to go on for a mile or in a cramped, and narrow line, branching off into four smaller rooms which were to be used as chambers of torture, or two sleeping quaters for prisoners.

And, the Passageway ended somewhere, and that was to the Main Throne room - the Main Underground Hall. This was where the three graves - with their own small garden plot just before the alter was where Renna, Kouta and Emma laid to rest. The ascended up to look over the hall and the graves, too the left was the organ covered in a white sheet, on the right still was the circular ring that was used as Renna's portal to different areas of the land.
More so to the Great Deserts In the Southernlands of Rhy'Din, past Cadentia.

Lucy made herself at home in the hidden room, that was used as Renna's bedroom. She slept there that night, while her Black Monks in proper Renna fashion had them hanging on the walls of the Throne Room via the chains.
Currently though Lucy stood infront of the alter without it's throne... Stareing... Hands raising up to the alter chunks of the brick tore from the ground and floated up to the highest point of the alter and so formed a new chair...

The new throne.

Slowly sitting upon it... She closed her eyes... This was where she was meant to be.

Aru appeared as she did always without warning before the Mistress in a two kneed kneel, forehead planted against the ground and hands crossed over her chest in an X formation.

"I have news of Brian, Mistress."

Red eyes narrowing, lips curving to a smirk. She deffinately didn't look like a ruler, the throne dwarfing her somewhat with her japanese school girl attire on, sword sheathed at her hip. But Lucy sounded confident and proud to be sitting in the place her Mother once was.

"What is it, Aru?"

Meanwhile, not five miles east upon the main road that led from the Southern Gate of Rhy'din's walls stood Mu in the middle of the road. A carrage at the side of the road - the diver's neck torn in half, a husband and wife, and two children laid around her - gaping wounds where Mu's teeth ripped the meat from the bones.

She stood there waiting head lowered, eyes closed... Waiting...

"... I see." Lucy sighed standing from her throne with her hand upon the hilt of her short sword. "So he is really-"

"Yes... Mistress... Mu should arrive soon with Alex..."

Lucy smirked and glanced down to the graves of her Mother, Half-Sister and nephew, "... You see Mom? Do you see now?"

His staff had become somewhat of his personal transportation, granting him the ability to fly at speeds much quicker than many would.. or could. Much like riding a snowboard, Alex's arms were out on either side of his body to provide himself with a bit of balance. Several hoots and hollars sounded as he swirled about within the air as he headed along the path much as to the twins' description.

Alternate was having far too much fun taking advantage of what must have been years of confinement. He'd have to thank Jewell properly when she returned for making alex an insane lump of flesh. Well, Jewell and Lucy! Who he was on trek to meet!

He dove towards the path, kicking up a large amount of dirt and gravel as he swooped closer to closer to that of which he saw in the distance. But not only that, but that dear Mu child, too. A faint grin met his features as he lept from the staff, a hand in the air for it to materalize within, and him landing upon the ground, sneakers tearing up the ground he landed upon as he slowed towards Mu and the broken down caravan that she was just nearby.

He didn't even glance to the bodies as he offered a quick grin, Sorry to keep you waiting. We had... issues. Shall we be on our way..? Alex couldn't help but slowly move in towards her to provide her with that same forceful kiss that he gave her, last time. Perhaps it was the added blood that had him simply urging to do so. But, then again.. it was Mu. Someone else he had passionate times with.

Alex's arrival was elaborate. And Mu was smirking.

Mu had stood there with her bloodied lips, teeth and tongue. The long sleeves of her black robes sliding back as her hands reached up to grip Alex's cheeks as he approached, her lips parting to the kiss man savagely without the passion. More of perverted lust.

Blood traces shared between mouths Mu pulled back - fingertips gliding from his cheeks to fall to her hips. Head bowing towards Alex.

"Hello, Alex." Mu's voice dripping her seduction which was obviously ripe in Alex's mind since their last encounter at his 'place.'
"The Mistress and Aru awaits our rival... What was the issue that needed to be addressed? Nothing too distractive I hope." A hand waved over to the coaches the dead bodies stirred and slowly rose from their dead-weight... Pulling the coach out from the side of the road and back onto the two tracks that was carved by a many of previous carrages.

Horses cut free...

Mu opened the door for Alex to enter - the smell of flesh and blood plastering the walls inside evident, it was rather a hot day despite some overcast of ominous grey clouds creeping overhead...
And how would the carrage get there without horses? But of course, the the highly fresh and mobile zombies too up point to pull the coach for the two...

Much more efficent than horses. Kind of.

The Den was becoming alive with the hustle and bustle of movement, the wood and materials left behind being used by the small number of Black Monks that was raised by Lucy... For in the Throne room they were constructing a table.

A feast was being prepaired.

He'd deal withou the passion in that kiss. He considered this was their way of greeting. Granted, it took several moments for him to 'compose' himself after contact, more recently.

A few glances were made just about him, and the slight twitch of his nose as he looked back to Mu and her response, If only.. distractive would mean more play. I can't say I've had fun, yet. Words fell from lips dryly, as he slid the staff to his back for it to rest. The hum and glow dimmed as contact broke free.

The trip was quiet, for him. In some aspect, just how he had hoped. There were far too many headaches already pricking throughout his skull.. he hardly needed the extra ones, especially when he was well aware far many more were on their way.

As the door was opened, he simply moved on inside without any slight hesitation. He, naturally, hadn't given a care in the world what had been going on inside. Meeting Lucy on her grounds and under her terms could provide the excessive trust he felt he had to 'earn'. He knew this would be the best way to accomplish such a task.

Alex continued to let himself be lead throughout the hall, simply awaiting for when their initial meeting was to take place, and what 'undying' tasks would have to be done.. if any at all.

The coach was dragged by the undead patrons that once occupied and drove this moving shed. Mu was taking in the pleasure of running her finger upon the leather seats as she sat the opposite side from him, dragging up the thick coagulating blood to collect upon the tip of her finger, and to lick off and chew... Tongue pressing the sweet decay of blood cells against the roof of her mouth.

Such pleasures that was blood.

Door openning by itself Mu followed closely behind Alex as he entered the Main Upper Hall, a blank hall with nothing in it. Dark, gloomy. That might not detour him from walking on down the staircase towards the Throne Room...
But Mu made sure she was infront of him before they entered the place of where Renna's body rested... And where Lucy sat waiting, eyes closed, head hanging down - chin against her chest, chuckling as she sensed the pressence of Alex drawing near.

Mu stopped before the Alter, close to the gravesite, bowing next to Aru... The Sisters stood, turned to the entrance and directly to Alex.

"Mistress, Alex Ravenlock has-"

"Arrived... Yes... Well done Sister, Welcome, Alex-"

"To the Den of Shadows, Fortress of our Mistress... Soon to be crowned Queen of Shadows."

No kidding... Queen of Shadows? Lucy.. with a title. I'm impressed.. His voice carried itself about the nooks and crannies of the Den, itself. He wasn't subtle, that was for sure. But - there were always reasons for his sudden change...

Alex took a few steps forward, his eyes lifting to Lucy and where she was positioned. The corners of his lips twisted into a light grin as he stared at her, before he found himself falling to a knee. Alternate was being... kind. Perhaps because they both could benefit from this encounter greatly.

Oh, he knew the dark days were just around the corner. No matter what one or the other would say. The day .. of the fall.. had come.

I must say, I love what you've done with the place. The arrangement is absolutely.. to die for. Jokes were probably not the best thing to add to the list. But he couldn't help himself, at this point.

Should we get down to business?.. or was this more of a leisure visit? His eyes lifted shortly before his head did, the darkened hues tinging over with a faint red hue. That same twisted sneer spoke volumes of his true nature, at this point.

His initial insanity.. the shreds of what life pulsed of his old life.. was complete.

Lucy's head fell forward and she drew herself into a thoughtful silence... As of late everything was really getting to her - and of course, the situations with Brian, Katharine... Charlotte... Lore... Everyone! Everyone was getting on her case - being cautious...
Treating her like her Mother.
The Twins glanced to eachother and they turned to see Alex fall to his knee; it made them grin before they spoke.

"The Mistress is not feeling well-"

"She is tired of all this talk of-"

"And events that annoy her-"

"She feels it is time to lay down what she was given-"

"Power..."

Lucy stood and her head tilted back, her features were relaxed, her eyes tired, the voices in her head did not stop - and Darkin would not let up without a fight. Trying to break her to his whim, well Lucy was stronger than that - unfortunately for Brian.

"I may not be my Mother... I may not know how to plot like she did, but I know what must be done..." Lucy whispered, her voice echoing dully against the walls of Throne Room. "Alex... No..." She extended her hand out to him as if wishing to grip him by the throat, "Your not him. Your pressence is different. But I don't care... Will you serve me?"

"Serve her..."

"We can bring back the empire Renna once sought to create."

"I want to continue her work..." Lucy smiled her hand that was extended out slowly moving to hang at her side, "But I can't do this without help... I can't do this without someone as strong minded as my Mother once was."

Lucy slowly treaded down the alter, the tentacles of darkness spewing forth out from her back - the tendrils of shadows moving down towards Alex's form.

"... Let's begin-"

"Conversion..."

The Twins parted and moved to take up their usual point either side of Alex, stareing down to him, extending their palms out flat they both tilted their heads back and closed their eyes.
Lucy on the other hand stood before Alex with the tentacles moving to strike along the points of his spine.

"Do you want this, Alex?"

"Rhy'Din is small game-"

"We shall continue. Swear alligence to the Future Queen and we shall give you-"

"Power..."

Hmm...

His features were still, his voice and thoughts quiet, as they explained themselves to him as though they honestly owed him one. His kneel remained as they spoke, his head continued to be lowered to the ground, lock sweeping low to the ground so that various amounts dabbed the floor.

"Your not him. Your pressence is different. But I don't care... Will you serve me?" Did she really not care? His eyes vaguly lifted to watch her as she continued, "I want to continue her work...But I can't do this without help... I can't do this without someone as strong minded as my Mother once was." His lips curved into a slight twisted grin as emeralds lowered back to the floor, remaining ever so still to her words.

If there was ever a time to let play time end, this was it. He, in all his honesty, felt as though there was no more to live for. He was well aware of Alternate begining to creep through him. Jewell who was well out of his reach, now. The lacking family and friends.

He hated them all. He may have been the betrayer in the past.. but in truth.. now it was he who was betrayed. Hunted.. hated.. it was time to step up to the next level. A kingdom of death, a world of control.

Power..

Tendrils of shadow clasped to him like a magnet, which his form wreathed at like a fish from the water. Lifting from the ground of his own free will, he let himself go, his back arching heavily from the contact, You have my alligence... my queen.

At his words, several surges of power expelled from his entire form, crackling much like an overloaded transmitter. The power ran along his entire figure. Common senses from the furthest reaches could feel it as that of something fierce and deadly.

It was the core of his power, opened like a tincan.

A soft mutter fell from his lips as his eyes closed, his mind feeling numb, "You had.. your chance. Now.. may whatever god you pledge to... help you."

The pain would be undescribeable. The tendril's forcing themselves into his skin along his spine, pushing deep past flesh and muscle, entering the spinal cord - pushing into the nervous systems and branching out through every synaptic pathway in his mind.
It was like an invasion on a cellular level - darkness filling where blood may have once been, where plasma hardened and coagulated and melted in one swift movement.

Perhaps the heart stopped numerous times, perhaps he saw the tunnel of light that was sending him to his doom of hell.

He may have felt like he was dying, but yet he may have never felt so alive before.

Hurling his body up into the air further tendrils imbedded themselves along certain pulse points along his body. Yes there was blood, but maybe for Alex's horror it was nothing but a thick tar, oozing out thickly like treacle pudding.

Lucy's small frame shuddered as the Priestesses still held their palms out flat to Alex, forming a small psychic bubble to contain him - to prevent his powers lashing out at others around. The last thing they wanted was for him to bring the Fortress down on their heads.

Blood trailing down from her nose and mouth.

"Mistress do not push-"

"Yourself, injury to you now would simply be foolish-"

"Yes... Foolish!"

Probably the most painful part for both Alex and Lucy was the passing of what was to come. Forcing it down the tendrils of darkness that still entered Alex's body, Lucy began to scream from the sheer pain. It was like several hot pokers were being forced into her eyes and into her head.
Pure energy, pure mana leaked from the pentagram scar upon her forehead and heck, there were times when jets of blue energy shot out to strike and smoulder the rocks of the floor.

Maybe, for the first time since Renna's passing the Fortress never had been so alive with the screams of pain and suffering.

If there was a feeling 'lex could ever imagine to feel, it was now.

Emotions were entirely detatched from him, as though he was stripped of the impulse to feel, all together. There was no such thing, anymore.

Not when there was such searing pain as though his flesh was being manually ripped from muscle, and muscle manually ripped from bone.

Initially - he felt the cold cold chill of death run through him, the ultimate feeling of death finally catching up to him.. uh.. again. The feeling blew over him, though, and crept to a whole new level of torment. The warmth of thick blood trickling from his very pores was more than enough to keep him in the realization he was still very much alive and well.

While normally he never expressed an ounce of anything, there was little to no chance he'd ever be able to hold himself back, this time. What was the worst part.. he was allowing himself to be accessed in the most vulgar way possible. Worse than a human male taking a shot to the pills. A shrill voice escaped him as his arms expanded out to either side of his figure, tremors of activity beginnig to form aqua-colored ringlets about his shoulders and pulse throughout his arms. A vast hum followed either, like of a radiator, as they ran the length of his arm and tapered off into his palms. It was his very life force, and judging from how hard it began to surge, it would appear as though it was very much pissed.

Blackened eyes were revealed as lids opened, his palms clenching together. Beneath those dark hues burned a firey core of which tinted every bit of his face a sickening orange, as they eyed either arm and the ringlets that began to form. From out of no where, several pillars suddenly imploded upon themselves, shattering into atoms and vanishing as though they had never existed. There was no way to tell, at all, but his Psychokinesis had become fiercly active, and was being triggered entirely prematurely from the exchange. Various shocks struck pure air, before portions of the floor began to crumble much like a tincan within the hand.

Only shortly after the Psychokinesis began to break apart the world around them, it stopped. It was nothing more than his lone yell that came from him that filled the halls of the Den.
