Renna of the Dark when she was mortal was a beauty that of a Black Widow. For her continious deathly seduction of men and murder sprees gave her not only a good (or bad) rep, but also gave her a name and title of which people feared! Exactly how she liked it. She never had been a person of where two was a company. In life you need just yourself, a weapon, and food. Well, that's how she thought.
There was once though, a story told of the killer and her adopted child, Emma Ren, of whom also has a dark and deceptive tale to it, not exactly ending in total happiness.
When Renna was still a late teenager, and coming to the age of a woman, she had partaken in her usual lusts of blood and carnage in a household of the side of a dirt road. The man and woman whom lived there were very much in love, and Renna could see that, as she peered in through a window, seeing them kiss... Seeing the daughter play happily with them. It turned her sick, it turned her envious. How dare they have such a happy life when she was forced to be abused? Why can't they experiance the hell she had once been through?
Of course though, she would show them the pains and torments she experianced through her own hands.
She had killed the man outright, for he looked strong and quite frankly wanted to relish over the woman's despair. The child, although was nowhere to be seen. in fact, it had appeared the child went out to play. Oh well, shame for the kid.
Slowly, and carefully she had skinned the trapped woman's skin off of her arm. Begining with painfully, the fingertips. This wasn't savagely done. This was, carefully done, a surgeon's touch almost.
Although, Renna did grow tired of the woman's passed out helpless form, and finished her off with numerous holdhold knives and forks. At the end of it, she looked like a giant pincoushin. Oh well.
But that was not the sadness behind this act, but as Renna was about to leave, the child stood in the doorway, and ran to her Mother's and Father's side, begging for them to wake up.
Renna, didn't care, she turned to leave and was confronted by the angry child, heck, the little brat had the to nerve to kick her in thigh. And, as Renna knocked her to the ground, she came unmoving too... knocked out...
Guilt within her as the memories filled back into her minded. The pain she went through as a child, the rituals of which she was subjected too... This, was similar.
Pity, Mercy. she took these upon the child and nursed her. In fact, she lied to her in the end, saying that she was there trying help the girl's parents, to stop the child's angry attacks upon Renna...
That's when she began to grow and love the kid. She acted motherly, she acted... Good, for the shortest time in her life. But this was never meant to be ending in happiness. One day as the child went missing, Renna grew dispaired, and, in a mad motherly spree, confronted every man and woman she came across, looking for the answer of where HER child was. And, killed them if she heard the wrong answer.
But, she found her, the child, crying, she was hit by another kid and came to hide. But Renna was far gone angry, she was mad. A blood lusted possessed Mage was bad for everyone, and bad, for the child.
Renna in her rage, hit the child, and killed her. It was an accident, but, it killed what was left of her Good-side forever. It killed Lucy, permanently. She made a promise though. She promised to bring the child back.
