Alternate stood amongst what could have been four people against him. While he knew he was extremely powerful, the various numbers were not in his favor. Arumu had already left, and it was decided it was time he would, as well.

He left via door and staff, flying off on it in the direction back to the Den of Shadows. There was a hurt Lucy that he wanted to see. Her in danger, or her harmed was not something he was particularly fond of. It was why he wanted to vent a little steam, attempting to harm those in the inn that morning.

Alex lept off of the staff, his hand flicking to have it materalize in hand. Instead of setting it to it's place upon his back, he left it in hand as he made way into the Hall. His clairvoyance had triggered as he stepped into the Den, guiding him where Mu set her off at. His arrival was greeted by a doctor, no doubt someone Mu took in to force work upon her to nurse her back to health. Alex's voice boomed, as he looked past the doctor to Lucy who was resting, "How is she?"

The doctor lifted a finger to his mouth as swung around Alex, arm about his shoulder, "Shh! She i-is.. okay, though s-she is r-resting, now. I have d-done what I c-c-could to her arm.. looks l-like she'll be in a sling for s-some time. But nothing a little t-time c-c-couldn't do.." The doctor spoke with extreme nervousness, some words having studdered several times each. It was obvious he was not settled on being here.

Alex rolled from the mans hold and moved over to Lucy. He wanted to be sure the doctor did exactly what he mentioned he did. While no medic, there was little doubt Alex couldn't already lightly tap into the mans words to make sure he spoke the truth. With a nod, he rolled around to face the doctor, ".. very good. Now.. what did Mu suggest to you..?"

The doctor continued to show every sign possible for his emotional state, clearly uncertain how to reply.

"What were.. her.. conditions?" He spoke more generally, each word stern, and finished with a sigh. He was in a rather foul mood, still.

"I..uh.. oh..she said.. if I help her.. you'll... let me .. go." He became even more jittery than before. Alex couldn't help but smile at the mans words.

Alex approached him, a hand clapping him on his shoulder, "So she will be okay?"

"Y-yes.. in several weeks, most.." The doctor almost breathed a sigh of relief.

With a nod, Alex's eyes blinked once before the mans voice croaked loudly deeply within. Alex's head inclined as he let go of the mans shoulder, taking a step back from him as the mans voice continued to croak, further. After several seconds, several loud cracks sounded from within the mans body, as his body began to bend rigidly. As the mans movements continued, Alex lifted a hand before the mans mouth, of which did the doctor's spine, covered in gook and blood, begin to slide from his opened mouth. Taking it in hand, Alex pulled it fiercly from him, a splatter of blood spewing openingly and outwardly. Alex only twirled it once as the man began to slink towards the ground, sharply gutting it into his stomach. Fumbling and slamming into the ground with a slapping sound, Alex stepped over him and towards the door, "Then you've served your purpose, whelp.."
