It was dead silent in the Inn as she made down the stairs, her hands gripping the piece of paper with the music written upon it. Scales. Major, minor, pentatonic, basic scales, easy to play. Heck, Emerson even gave a little exercise to test out if she has been truely practicing. Of course, to her it looked like a piece of cake.
Sitting down at the stool of Emerson's piano, she flipped up the key cover and then looked down at the keys, her eyes vague, her mind a storm of plots right now... But pushing them aside for now, she then placed the music down to stand up on what she assumed was the music older just above the key cover.
Then, placing her hands down onto a key, she pressed it. "E..." Renna smiled now as the note rung out, her foot on the right peddle, just like how Emerson showed her to sustain the note. "...D...F... Pffft... Easy," Now rather confident she placed her left hand down the low end, and her right somewhere at the middle, closer to the high end of the keys.
Looking the paper, she then looked at the Major scale, it mostly comprised of 7 notes, and then, looking to the high end, she started on the C, and then made her way up to the last note, in the scale.
It sounded pretty, bright, harmonically bright. It tugged a soft smile to her lips.
"... Music is truely beautiful." Renna spoke out to the piano, running her free hand along the grain of the string covering. Shrugging off the feeling of happiness Renna then looked to the major scale... And slowly too played that, it was dark... Moody... She took a liking to the sound since it expressed how her feelings.

Three hours later, Renna's eyes were a wild with rage. She was about to run upstairs, get the morning star, and bash the crap out of the thing for her silly mistakes... But she was getting better. And refused to move untill she was quite satisified wih mastering the basics.

Renna never liked to lose...
