The Luinista - Battlefield Park Aerodrome, Dock 13-B
July 4th, Mid-Afternoon

Though blue was by far the little elf's favorite color and pink wasn't exactly something she particularly cared for, Carley put on a brave face that day to match her very pink attire. A pink headband with a small white bow was worn in her hair, that perfectly matched her white blouse and dark pink shorts. Pale pink socks just shy of her knees went well with the white boots she wore. The only thing that really clashed with the ensemble were her oh so very blue eyes.

The decorations on the Luinista itself, while sparse, were very pink. Streamers had been messily wrapped around the railing and pink confetti littered the deck and planks allowing access to the ship. Pretty pink lamps had been hung on the doorways of the bridge, the three Towers, and near the stairs that lead inside the ship itself. Crewmen donning pink shirts lingered near these areas, however, to keep people from venturing into these areas they need not be. It would be most unfortunate for someone to tamper with something and mess up the newly repaired airship.

There were various other crewmen, also wearing pink, who ambled around the deck restlessly. Some looked annoyed, as this wasn't exactly in their job description. They carried trays of finger food - small sandwiches, pigs in a blanket, and various other simple but delicious things. Other trays were stacked with drinks. Not alcoholic drinks, however, as Carley had strict rules about such things. It was soda, juice, and even milk that filled pretty wineglasses.

Carley flittered about almost nervously, taking care of this and that. Making sure things were ready for the guests she assumed would come. Near the bridge she approached Bothe. Tall, blond and beefy, he wore a tight pale pink shirt that showed off his chiseled form. "Hey Bothe! Ya ready to entertain people when they get here?" Carley peered up at the much taller man with large eyes.

"Sure am!" Bothe grinned overconfidently as he flexed his muscles. "You give the word, and I'll have 'em eating out of Bothe's hand!"

With a blink, Carley wrinkled her nose a little. The thought of eating out of his hand... "Sure?" She worried what it was he had in mind to entertain people with, as he refused to tell her. 'It's a surprise.', he said. Maybe it'd be a nice surprise if she fired him if his routine wasn't up to par...

Loitering near the bridge, the little elf bounced on the balls of her feet and shuffled around as she peered this way and that way. Right now, it was just a matter of waiting for guests to arrive.
