Grayson was taking a break from working. He leaned against the railing of the Luinista, eyes directed toward the heavens. His thoughts were on his vision of beauty, Amelia. Her hair, red as the fire in his heart. Sometimes he felt as though he could lose himself in those brown eyes of hers forever. He pictured her in his mind. A smile played upon Grayson's lips as his eyes shut. Her figure, his hands running all over her body...

His eyes snapped open. Grayson suddenly looked around, completely red in the face. He hadn't meant for his thoughts to drift to there! They did often. He wasn't sure he wanted to talk to Crao about it. The older man was like a surrogate father to Grayson, and this was a matter he didn't want to discuss with a father. No, there had to be someone else he could ask. Not Bothe or Nort. Certainly not them. They'd make fun of him about the whole situation and his questions. Orson? No, not him either. The old gnome kind of scared him, actually. Always grunting and looking through his goggles. Grayson sighed. Then, he suddenly stood up straight. He could ask Cy! Cy would know. The elf had been much kinder to him since he started dating Amelia. Grayson considered Cy a friend. "Yeah! I'll ask Cy!" Grayson grinned.

Crao happened to be passing by the railing. When he heard Grayson, he paused and smiled at the young man. "Ask Cy about what, Grayson?" Crao stood in place patiently and awaited Grayson's answer, his expression unchanging.

"N-Nothing, Crao! Just had a question about engineering stuff." Grayson smiled widely. It was obviously not completely genuine. "Cy's the only one who would know." Grayson then nodded a couple of times in quick succession.

Crao's eyes studied Grayson for a long moment. "I see. Don't take too long. There's work to be done." Crao knew something was amiss. He also knew that trying to pry it out of Grayson probably wasn't going to work if he wasn't honest to begin with. Smile still in place, Crao resumed walking and headed for the stairs that led below the deck.

Grayson sighed loudly as the older man departed and glanced around. Where could Cy be? Grayson spent a lot of time walking all over the Luinista. He peeked into the helm once and Orson yelled at him to get out. He checked the engine room, the cargo hold, he even checked Cy's cabin. The tall elf was nowhere to be found. Grayson frowned. Just as he was about to give up, he arrived back on the deck and saw Cy disappear into Tower 3!

Grayson sprinted for the Tower. It didn't take him much time to arrive. "Cy! Cy!" He called the tall elf's name a couple of times as he entered.

Cy turned around and gave Grayson an annoyed look. "The hell's the matter with you, Grayson? M'not deaf." Far from it, in fact. Elven hearing was quite keen and Cy's was completely intact.

"Sorry. I need to ask you something. Please. I can't ask anyone else." Grayson looked at Cy genuinely, pleadingly. Cy was his only hope! He had to help!

Still looking a little annoyed, Cy rolled his eyes. "Yeah, yeah whatever. Ask." Cy was moving his right hand along the holding case for the mana core. It was often that he double or even triple checked things, just to be safe. His left hand was holding onto a wrench.

Grayson nodded, although Cy didn't see it, and let out a long breath. "Cy, have you ever... you know... done it?" Grayson's lips twisted into an expression of insecurity as he watched the elf.

"Done what?" Cy asked. The question had been pretty vague. He assumed this was going to be one of Grayson's stupid questions that he just didn't really feel like answering. Still, he'd come to Cy specifically, so the tall elf was humoring him.

"Done it. You know, with a girl." Grayson's face got a little red. It wasn't an easy question to ask. He was quite embarrassed.

Cy's wrench clattered onto the floor of the Tower. He froze completely. It took a long moment before he shifted to face Grayson. Why the hell was he asking that?! Cy's dark brown eyes looked at the young man incredulously. Grayson simply looked back at Cy. He was completely serious and expecting an answer.

"Yeah." Cy's reply was far from wordy. He had no intention of saying whom he had the experience with, however. Grayson assumed that Cy had, in fact, done it many times before. It was why he'd asked the tall elf. He also thought Cy wouldn't tease him about the subject. Grayson was right about that. "Well... I've been having these feelings lately. About Amelia. I really want to ask her about all of it, but I don't know if I should."

Cy continued to stare at Grayson. "Uh... don't know. Something you gotta figure out for yourself, Grayson. Just don't do it if you're unsure about it, yeah? Not something you want to regret." Cy was sure of that. "Plus if you don't have her drink tea before all that you guys might end up with a kid." Cy neglected to mention it was a special kind of tea. Grayson had probably made a huge mistake in asking Cy.

Grayson sighed, loudly. Cy's answer seemed pretty generic to him, minus the bit about tea. "It feels good though, right? It's for people who love each other. I think I love Amelia. It's a weird feeling."

Cy couldn't deny it felt good. It felt really good. He neglected to answer that specific question. "Look, Grayson. If you aren't sure, don't even bother. Do what Nort does. Go get a PlayElf or something." Cy leaned down and grabbed his wrench.

Grayson nodded a little to Cy, but there was really only one thing in his mind. If he gave Amelia tea, it didn't matter either way! His embarrassment led to him forgetting to ask Cy if it was any special sort of tea. "Thanks, Cy!" With that, Grayson left the Tower. Cy shook his head at Grayson's abrupt departure. "Dumbass."
