The Hebrew word "tzedakah" is commonly translated as "charity" or "tithe." But this is misleading. "Charity" implies that your heart motivates you to go beyond the call of duty. "Tzedakah," however, literally means "righteousness" -- doing the right thing. A "tzaddik," likewise, is a righteous person, someone who fulfills all his obligations, whether in the mood or not.

As part of the Hanukkah Observance, a Tzedakah box will be on display along with the Menorah. The Talmud details the levels of Tzedakah with the highest being a gift, grant, etc that enables the recipient to become self-reliant. With this thought in mind, There will be two special promotions with separate Tzedakah Boxes.

A portion of the proceeds from the purchase of Jewelry will be given to the victims and families of the SPI Building Collapse.

A portion of the proceeds from the sales of Figurines will go to Benefit the Small Business Relief Fund.
