Hello, NEDheads. From time to time, I, Ned, get mail from my many fans, and the occasional delusional critic. The network insists that I display them for the public, probably so the PR-doctors can spin me up like a regular Joe and make me even more lovable than I am.

As if.

Here they are.

Oh, dear. A little desperate, isn't it? Exhaustion. Suuuure. In the spirit of making nice, we at the Nexus Newstream HQ (and by that, I mean my intern, the unquenchable twit, Sukie,) have sent flowers to the 21 Twelve Studios. Feel better, Lelah.

Oh this? Just a medical mask. Pay no attention...and remember: See your Doctor. Cover your coughs. Wash your hands. RBF is a serious matter. Stay safe, RhyDin. Get vaccinated.

And in the meantime, read this:

Your article from the Wednesday, 17 August edition of the Nexus Newstream makes false claims that filming has halted on the set of A Murder of Crowes. Filming was shut down for a short, two day delay after Lelah Rivka, director of the project and CEO of the studios, collapsed due to exhaustion. However, filming began again early last Friday morning, with scenes being shot at various locations in and around the city, including the Marketplace, Old Temple District, and the Southern Glen, and has continued without further delays. The film is still on schedule and shooting will wrap as planned by the end of this month.

The studios invites the public to watch filming in any of these locations and get a peek of our stars Aimee Savage, Jonathon Granger, and Lasse Kolehmainen, while they work. We also invite everyone out to the First Rhy'Din Arts Fest, where we will be presenting lectures on careers in the film industry, the process of getting a film from idea to the big screens, and how movie magic is made.

Ned loves a good snitch. They're so... sneaky. And this one isn't scared to point fingers and name names. Unfortunately, that twit, Sukie, thought it might be a good idea to factcheck with the Governor before we ran the headlines and was told we couldn't release the information in the news because it's 'an on-going investigation'. WhatEv. The Governor's not the boss of me. NNHQ is, and they sent me a memo just last month saying all the letters I got needed to be filed here.

Score one for the free press.

From someone who calls himself "HX-909-A." What? Deep Throat wasn't good enough for him?

In response to the news ticker regarding the incident at the Costume Ball, the mercenary company Iron Dragons has released the following statement:

"During the costume event, a young woman who identified herself as 'Renna', threatened the attendees of the event with a bomb. Security forces working with Batten Industries began evacuating the guests while attempting to contain the incident."

"One of the Batten employees fired on the assumed bomb and struck 'Renna'. While wounded, 'Renna' warned those present to 'Run or be infected'. Following this, her body exploded, vaporizing and turning to black smoke and dust which was partially contained by the magical efforts of several guests."

"Iron Dragons had analyzed the dust left behind by the detonation of the suspect's body, as well as several others. While details are limited at this time, we have identified a pathogen of nanotechnological nature present within the dust. We are working to analyze the function and operation of these nanomachines to determine their purpose and function, so that an antigen can be developed as soon as possible."

"We at Iron Dragons invite other agencies, governmental or private, to take part in the research efforts."
